Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menentukan nilai koefisien absorbsi bunyi dan impedansi akustik dengan menggunakan metode tabung impedansi.  Sampel yang digunakan yaitu material beton dan kayu lapis.  Rentang frekuensi yang digunakan yaitu 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, 4000 Hz dan 8000 Hz.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa koefisien absorbsi bunyi beton 0,25 pada frekuensi 2000 Hz. Setelah dilapisi resonator panel kayu lapis meningkat menjadi 0,51.  Beton yang dilapisi resonator panel kayu lapis berlubang didapatkan koefisien absorbsi bunyi paling tinggi yaitu 0,61.   Impedansi akustik paling tinggi pada beton dilapisi resonator panel kayu lapis berlubang yaitu sebesar 0,97-i0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian menentukan koefisien absorbsi bunyi dan impedansi akustik dari serat kayu Meranti Merah telah dilakukan. Sampel panel akustik dibuat dari serat kayu Meranti Merah dengan variasi lebar lembaran serat dan panjang serat. Lebar lembaran seratnya adalah antara 0,5 cm, 1 cm, 1,5 cm dan 2 cm dan panjang seratnya adalah 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm dan 4 cm. Pengukuran menggunakan frekuensi dari 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2000 Hz dan 2500 Hz. Nilai koefisien absorbsi bunyi tertinggi adalah 0,95±0,05 untuk frekuensi 1000 Hz dengan lebar dan panjang serat 0,5 cm dan 2 cm. Nilai impedansi akustik untuk koefisien absorbsi bunyi ini adalah 1,83 dyne.s/cm3. Dengan demikian berdasarkan koefisien absorbsi bunyi maka serat kayu Meranti Merah potensial untuk digunakan sebagai bahan penyerap bunyi. Nilai impedansi akustik secara umum memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan koefisien absorbsi bunyi pada frekuensi 1000 Hz dengan R2 =0, 948Kata kunci : koefisien absorbsi bunyi, impedansi akustik, serat kayu Meranti Merah

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the utilization of video learning media in thematic books theme 1 subtheme 1 at the SD / MI level. This type of research uses library research. The research data sources are journals and thematic books on “Growth and Development of Living Things” Class III SD, and using books and journals relevant to this research. The data collection technique used is documentation. Then the data is processed through data collection, reduction, interpreting and analyzing the data. The results of this study reveal about the utilization of video learning media educators explain thematic learning material first, then learning activities are continued with educators inviting students to actively participate in learning through questions and answers related to thematic learning material, after which educators play video learning media. The learning media used must have their own advantages and disadvantages, as well as video media. In viewing the video cannot stand alone, this video media requires supporting tools such as LCD to project images and active speakers to display sound to be heard clearly.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low understanding of concepts, especially in mathematics learning. One of the reasons for the low understanding of students is the lack of use of learning media in the learning process and educators not using alternative media such as learning video media. Learning video media is an alternative that can be used to attract students' attention to learning. The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of using learning video media on understanding mathematical concepts in fourth grade students at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School, Padang. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. This research design is a static two group design. The population used was class IV of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang using purposive sampling techniques for sampling. The selected sample consisted of two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The data for this research are the scores for understanding mathematical concepts in fourth grade students at Khaira Ummah Padang Islamic Elementary School using and without using learning video media. The instrument of this research is a test. The analytical requirements tests carried out are the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this research can be seen from the average score for understanding mathematical concepts without using learning video media for class IV Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang, namely 78.70. The average score for understanding mathematical concepts using learning video media for class IV Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang is 91.05. Based on the t-test, the results of this tcount are compared with ttable at degrees of freedom (dk) = (n-2) at the 95% significance level. Tcount > Ttable (5.5>1.71) then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the understanding of mathematical concepts of fourth grade students at Islamic Elementary School Khaira Ummah Padang using video learning media is higher than without using video learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this research to determine the effect of pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading skills at SD IT. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class III A and III B as many 46 students. Sampling was carried out using the Saturated Sampling technique, the class selected as the experimental class was III A and the control class was III B. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS.The results showed that the average post-test score for the experimental class was 88.38%. Based on the hypothesis test with SPSS obtained a significant in two sides (2-tailed) of = 0.000, it can be concluded that (0.000 <0.05). Therefore, it can be said that H0 which reads that there is no effect of using pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading ability is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of using pictorial word dice learning media to improve students' initial reading ability at SD IT.

Abstract

This study stems from the problem of low student engagement in the mathematics learning process, which is often considered a difficult subject due to the infrequent use of interesting and supportive learning media by educators. In general, educators only rely on images found in textbooks or drawn on the blackboard, which has an impact on students' low understanding of concepts in the learning process. To address this issue, this study aims to examine the extent to which the use of the ROTAR (rotating wheel) learning media for flat shapes affects the improvement of concept understanding among phase B students at SD Islam Khaira Ummah. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was determined using cluster random sampling, involving two classes: class IVB as the experimental group using the rotar media, and class IVC as the control group using conventional learning media. Data analysis results showed a significant increase in conceptual understanding in the experimental group, with an average increase of 32.64 points, higher than the control group, which only experienced an increase of 20.30 points. The t-test results showed a significant value (one-tailed) of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the use of rotar media significantly influences the improvement of students' mathematical concept understanding. This finding recommends that educators utilize varied learning media to create a more engaging and meaningful learning environment.
