Abstract

Utilization and development of innovative learning models based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) especially in Islamic Religious Education learning is a necessity in today's digital era as a need and demand of an era that is always dynamic and continues to develop from time to time. The purpose of this research is to understand the utilization and development of ICT-based innovative learning models in Islamic Religious Education learning and to understand Islamic views regarding the use and development of these ICT-based learning models. The results of the study show that the utilization and development of ICT-based Islamic Religious Education learning models can be carried out by using and developing own it learning models, learn it, share it, e-learning, blended learning, multimedia, audio visual, video conferencing and so on. In the perspective of Islamic teachings, there is no prohibition on using and developing ICT-based learning models, it is even recommended as long as the technology contains good values, benefits and expediencies for humans and does not contain or support evil, immorality and damage.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pendidikan jarak jauh pada masa penyebaran pandemi covid-19 menimbulkan berbagai persoalan, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan proses asessmen pembelajaran peserta didik. Oleh karenanya perlu adanya altenatif model asessmen yang mendukung proses pembelajaran jarak jauh yang baik dan efektif, baik itu untuk guru maupun peserta didik. Tulisan ini berusaha untuk memberikan gambaran dari alternatif-alternatif bentuk asessmen dan evalusi, yang dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk para pendidik dalam melakukan asessmen danevaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik jarak jauh di masa pandemi Corona yang sedang melanda Indonesia. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian Library Research. Peneliti memperoleh data dari hasil studi kepustakaan dari berbagai literatur buku, jurnal, karya ilmiah, dan juga dokumen-dokumen lain yang mengakaji terkait asessmen dan evaluasi pembelajaran baik secara umum maupun yang secara khusus mengkaji terkait asessmen dan evaluasi pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hasil penelitian ini adalah beberapa bentuk model asessmen yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembealajaran jarak jauh, diantaranya adalah penilaian berbasis daring, penilaian portofolio, dan penilaian diri atau self asessment.

Abstract

ICT INTEGRATION IN EDUCATION. In the 21st century, teachers and students are required to have information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities. Teachers are required to integrate ICT in their daily teaching and learning activities. This study aims to (1) identify the level of computer skills and knowledge of junior high school teachers in learning, and (2) identify the level of integration of ICT in the teaching and learning process. A total of 25 teachers from a junior high school in Cirebon have been selected to complete this quantitative study’s survey questionnaire. The findings revealed that most of the teachers had basic computer skills and knowledge. Moreover, results show that some teachers have integrated ICT in their teaching and learning activities. However, more support is needed for teachers to be able to access training or seminars related to ICT for teaching and learning. Further research can be conducted to look at other aspects of integrating ICT in education, such as learning strategies and policies related to ICT for teaching and learning.
