Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that aims to find out misconceptions that occur in class X science students of SMAN 03 Bengkulu City on Stoichiometry material. The data obtained in this study were collected by means of a written test on an instrument that has been tested for validity, , reliability, difficulty index, and discriminatory power. The results of the analysis of the percentage of misconceptions that occur in the stoichiomeric material at SMAN 3 Bengkulu City are in the range of 0%-2,2%. Based on the literature, misconceptions with this number range are in the category of moderate misconceptions. The misconception with the smallest percentage value is in item number 2 with a percentage of 0,1%, namely in the sub-topic of Atomic Mass. The misconception with the most significant percentage figures occurs in questions number 9 and 10 or in the sub-chapter interconversion of moles and chemical calculations, which is 2,2%. Factors that cause misconceptions consist of internal factors caused by the students themselves, and external factors that cause environmental factors. These factors are wrong preconceptions or initial concepts, learning methods, student abilities, lack of interest and motivation to learn, wrong intuition, and inadequate books.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the level of feasibility and student response to the developed digital LKPD. The research was carried out in June-August 2021 at Bengkulu University and SMAN 08 Padang Jaya Bengkulu Utara. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The sample used in this study was class XII IPA. The trial was conducted on a small scale with 12 students of class XII science. The research data was obtained from a validation questionnaire of material experts and media experts as well as student response questionnaires. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the feasibility level of digital LKPD in the material aspect was 85% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the media aspect is 85,6% with a very valid category. The results of student responses to digital LKPD in small-scale trials obtained a percentage of 87.03% with a very interesting category. The results of this study indicate that the Digital LKPD developed is very feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Portal rumah belajar menyediakan bahan belajar serta fasilitas komunikasi yang mendukung interaksi antar komunitas. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan portal rumah belajar bagi guru matematika dan IPA di SMAN 5 Bengkulu Selatan. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan berjumlah 30 orang dan dilakukan di ruang pertemuan (Aula) sekolah. Metode yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi tentang portal rumah belajar, monitoring dan evaluasi. Dari hasil pengabdian ini peserta sangat tertarik mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi pemanfaatan portal rumah belajar. Masih banyak peserta kegiatan yang belum memanfaatkan akunnya untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Padahal portal ini sangat bagus dan lengkap sekali bahan belajarnya. Mulai dari materi pembelajaran sampai soal-soal evaluasinya. Portal dilengkapi pula dengan media interaktif, RPP dan bank soal. Fitur rumah belajar yang interaktif, menarik dan lengkap dapat digunakan oleh siapa saja asalkan mempunyai akun.  Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan, guru sudah memanfaatkan portal rumah belajar untuk pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of learning in Organic Chemistry II. Based on the problems raised, the specific objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using molymod media assisted by the ChemDraw application in improving students' understanding of stereochemistry material in the practicum module. To determine student learning outcomes after using molymod media assisted by the ChemDraw application on stereochemistry material in the practicum module. The type of research used is an experimental method with the aim of determining the effect of a treatment on something under controlled conditions. This study uses a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, tests, and student response questionnaires. Based on the average N-Gain calculation, it is known that the increase in student learning outcomes obtained an average score of 0.86, which is classified as high criteria (0.70 ≤ n ≤ 1.00), so it can be said that there was a very good increase in student learning outcomes after using molymod assisted by the ChemDraw application on the organic chemistry II practicum module on the topic of stereochemistry. The practical process of stereochemistry topics using Molymod, assisted by the ChemDraw application, can encourage students to understand the concept of the material through exploration activities, visualization, and direct manipulation of molecular models. The students' response to the practical module presented in the form of an integration of the use of Molymod and ChemDraw was an average score of 91%, which is classified as very good. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of feasibility of e-module, student respons to e-module, and average student learning outcomes. The development of this e-module uses a 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The subjects of the study were 12 students of Chemistry Education semester VI (six) for small group trials and 21 students of Chemistry Education semester IV (four) for large group trials. The instruments used are interview sheets, needs questionnaires, validation sheets, respons questionnaires, pretest and posttest sheets. The results of product validation received a score of 84.8% which was included in the very valid criteria, and student responses were included in the very good criteria with a score of 90.4%. The results of the large group trial showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes that were included in the medium category with an average N-Gain score of 0.52. The results of this study show that the use of STEM-based lipid material e-modules is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: E-Modul; STEM; Lipid; Hasil Belajar
