Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze and determine the effect of compensation and performance appraisal on employee performance with employee engagement as an intervening variable. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique with the number of respondents used amounted to 127 people. The type of research used is descriptive and structural/pathological research with data analysis. The results obtained include: 1) Compensation has a significant effect on employee engagement; 2) Performance appraisal has a significant effect on employee engagement; 3) Employee engagement has no effect on employee performance; 4) Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance; 5) Performance appraisal has no effect on employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to find out also to prove whether the variables of budget participation and organizational commitment have an influence on the budgetary gaps that occur in the regional revenue and expenditure budget of Tomohon City. The independent variables in this study are budgetary participation and organizational commitment, while the dependent variable in this study is budget gaps. The research method used in this research is quantitative by using descriptive analysis. The samples for this study were 18 regional offices and agencies as well as companies that were part of the work unit of the regional apparatus of the City of Tomohon. Respondents to the questionnaire in this study amounted to 73 people consisting of heads of regional work units, secretaries of regional work units, heads of fields, and financial staff. The results obtained from the study state that budgetary participation has no effect on budget gaps. For organizational commitment, the results obtained state that this variable has a significant positive influence on the occurrence of budgetary gaps in the regional revenue and expenditure budget of Tomohon City. Participation and commitment of the budget preparers can reduce the occurrence of budgetary gaps, namely by being loyal and taking sides with the place where they serve

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to examine differences in profitability before and after using fintech with quantitative methods aimed at measuring profitability for the 2014-2019 period, using a comparison of profitability ratios, namely Return On Assets, Return On Equity, Net Interest Margin and Operating Expenses on Operating Income. Data information is based on the link between the Financial Services Authority and the population of state-owned banking financial statements, then defined using purposive sampling. The sample of this research is the quarterly financial reports that have been issued by banks. Analysis of research data using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that the ROA value after fintech was higher than before, the ROE value after fintech was higher than before, the NIM value was higher after than before and the BOPO value was lower after than before. In conclusion, fintech can provide positive potential for banking profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether there is an influence of financial rewards, job market consideration and work environment to the interest became public accountant. The population in this is the Faculty of Economics and Business of accounting student semester 6, 7 and 8. The 75 respondents of accounting students used as sample were obtained using the purpose sampling method. The data used are primary data collected from respondents through a questionnaire. This study uses a partial t-test and it is found that: 1.) There is no influence of financial rewards to the interest became public accountant; 2.) There is an influence of job market consideration to the interest became public accountant; and 3.) There is no influence of work environment to the interest became public accountant. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat pengaruh penghargaan finansial, pertimbangan pasar kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap minat menjadi akuntan publik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis semester 6, 7 dan 8. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 75 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode purpose sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang dikumpulkan dari responden melalui kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t parsial dan ditemukan bahwa: 1.) Tidak terdapat pengaruh penghargaan finansial terhadap minat menjadi akuntan publik; 2.) Terdapat pengaruh pertimbangan pasar kerja terhadap minat menjadi akuntan publik; dan 3.) Tidak terdapat pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap minat menjadi akuntan publik. Keywords: Job Market Consideration, Interest, Financial Rewards, Public Accountant, Work Environment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), Pendidikan dan Pengangguran terhadap Kemiskinan di Kabupaten/Kota di Sulawesi Utara. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Teknik Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), Pendidikan dan Pengangguran sebagai Variabel bebas dan Kemiskinan sebagai Variabel terikat. Hasil analisis berdasarkan Variabel ini menunjukkan PDRB, Pendidikan dan Pengangguran berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap Kemiskinan di Kabupaten/Kota di Sulawesi Utara dan untuk uji Parsial, Variabel PDRB berpengaruh secara positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kemiskinan sedangkan Pendidikan dan Pengangguran berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kemiskinan di Kabupaten/Kota di Sulawesi Utara. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Jumlah uang beredar, Inflasi dan Nilai Tukar terhadap Return Saham Bank Umum. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor perbankan kelompok bank umum konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014 – 2018. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling maka sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 bank dengan total 1800 data. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah metode regresi antara variabel independen yakni jumlah uang beredar, inflasi, dan nilai tukar terhadap variabel dependen return saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah uang beredar dan nilai tukar tidak berpengaruh, sedangkan Inflasi signifikan berpengaruh terhadap return Saham bank umum. Tujuan utama investor dari investasi adalah peningkatan kekayaan melalui return saham untuk itu investor harus memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menganalisa dipasar modal berdasarkan faktor-faktor makroekonomi sehingga investor dapat melakukan portofolio investasi dengan baik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Advent di Indonesia yang sudah terakreditasi oleh BAN (Badan Akreditasi Nasional) dan AAA (Adventist Accrediting Association). Terdapat 408 responden dari penelitian ini yang terdiri atas para guru tetap maupun honor pada 24 sekolah yang terakreditasi BAN dan AAA untuk SMA di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk pemilihan dan pengambilan sampel dan menggunakan data primer melalui metode survey. Dengan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), penelitian ini mendapati bahwa gaya kepemimpinan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi. Secara spesifik gaya kepemimpinan transaksional memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah, sementara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah. Kata Kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, gaya kepemimpinan transaksional, kinerja sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji hipotesis apakah karakteristik wirausaha, karakteristik usaha dan lingkungan usaha berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan usaha UMKM di Kota Tobelo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu pelaku usaha di Kota Tobelo, dengan sampel yang diteliti berjumlah 100. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur dengan bantuan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik wirausaha tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan usaha. Sedangkan karakteristik usaha dan lingkungan usaha berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesuksesan usaha. Kata Kunci: Karakteristik Wirausaha, Karakteristik Usaha, Lingkungan Usaha, Kesuksesan Usaha, UMKM.

This study aims to analyze generation Z's perception of the effectiveness of SMM in building brands in educational institutions, especially universities. Specifically, this study investigates the influence of SMM on four dimensions of brand gestalt, namely storyscape, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. The design of this study is descriptive causal, with primary data collection through a survey of 225 samples of active students of Klabat University. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the support of SmartPLS statistical program. The results of the analysis show that SMM has a positive and significant influence on brand trust. Furthermore, brand trust has a positive and significant influence on the four dimensions of brand gestalt, namely storyscape, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. The findings provide information about the important role social media plays in building strong brand perceptions.
