Abstract

Technological advancements have had a significant impact on life, including work and education. In the era of globalization, technological development is very important, including in the learning process. Attendance is an important aspect of student performance assessment. However, the manual timekeeping system has problems such as fraud, low accuracy, and data entry errors. This study aims to design conferencing applications that use QR codes and location-based services (LBS) to simplify and accelerate attendance management. The development method used is prototyping, which allows interaction between developers and users. This application is built using App Inventor on Android operating system, allowing to scan QR codes for class attendance. Attendance data is automatically stored in Google Drive for recording and report generation that teachers can flexibly access. The application of this technology is expected to increase the efficiency and accuracy of attendance as well as the quality of the learning process in higher education institutions.

Abstract

The implementation of Digital Marketing in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Mekar Sejahtera aims to improve marketing performance and business competitiveness through the implementation of Critical Success Factors (CSF) and Value Chain. The study identifies and analyzes the key elements that influence the successful implementation of digital marketing strategies, as well as integrating them in a structured framework. In this study, data collection was carried out using two types of data: primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews and surveys with managers of Mekar Sejahtera BUMDes, while secondary data was obtained through analysis of relevant literature and similar case studies from other BUMDes that have implemented digital marketing. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, which is a research approach used to understand social phenomena in a deep and descriptive way, focusing on the meaning contained in it. The results of the study show that there are several important factors that greatly affect the success of digital marketing in BUMDes Mekar Sejahtera, including: adequate technological infrastructure, competent human resources, effective content management, and appropriate promotion strategies. In addition, the integration of the value chain, starting from raw material procurement, production, distribution, to customer service, also plays an important role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing. The implementation of good digital marketing can increase the visibility of BUMDes Mekar Sejahtera products, expand market reach, and increase sales. However, the challenges faced include budget constraints, resistance to change, and the need for ongoing training for managers. Therefore, strategic recommendations include the development of adequate digital infrastructure, increasing the capacity of human resources through training and mentoring, and strengthening collaboration with external parties such as the government and the private sector. This study concludes that the application of CSF and Value Chain in the development of digital marketing in BUMDes Mekar Sejahtera can have a significant positive impact, as long as it is carried out with careful planning and consistent execution. This research is expected to be a reference for other BUMDes in adopting effective and sustainable digital marketing strategies. Keywords: Critical Succes Factor, Value Chain, Digital Marketing.

Abstract

Kegiatan untuk memperkirakan apa yang akan terjadi pada masa yang akan datang disebut dengan peramalan. Metode Winter Exponential Smoothing adalah metode peramalan yang menggunakan tiga persamaan pola, yaitu stationer, trend, dan musiman. Teknik peramalan dapat diterapkan dalam memprediksi stok produk benang pada PT. Jangkar Mas di periode selanjutnya. Untuk itu peneliti bermaksud membangun sebuah sistem peramalan agar mempermudah perusahaan dalam memprediksi stok produk benang. Melalui sistem peramalan ini diperoleh data prediksi stok produk benang menggunakan metode winter exponential smoothing dengan menggunakan data jenis benang katun pada bulan Januari 2021 hingga Desember 2022 menghasilkan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 10% dengan data hasil peramalan benang katun pada Januari 2023 sebanyak 3.390,86 roll masuk pada kategori 10-20% yang artinya hasil peramalan baik, dimana nilai α = 0.4, β = 0.1 dan μ = 0.3 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peramalan menggunakan metode winter exponential smoothing dapat memberikan hasil sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Jumlah persediaan yang selalu siap di gudang dan siap dipesan orang juga sebagai stok produk. Pendataan stok pada PT. Charoen Pokphand Medan, yang diolah oleh bagian persediaan dan dicatat dengan transaksi dengan pendekatan komputerisasi, diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem untuk mencatat setiap transaksi jual beli, setelah setiap transaksi disimpan dalam database komputer. Aplikasi sistem informasi ini dapat memberikan asersi, yang berguna untuk memperkirakan berapa banyak barang yang akan dijual selama interval waktu tertentu. Prosedur ini dilakukan untuk mengukur jenis pakan ternak yang bisa dijual pada bulan mendatang. Hasilnya, sistem akan membantu perusahaan dalam menilai stok pakan ternak karena dapat memperkirakan kebutuhan barang untuk menghindari kehabisan stok dan memperkirakan tingkat stok di masa mendatang. Alhasil, saat menyusun laporan peramalan penjualan produk pakan ternak. Kesalahan kemungkinan muncul saat memprediksi penjualan pakan ternak di masa mendatang. Tujuan dalam melakukan proses peramalan adalah untuk menyeimbangi jumlah pemesanan dari pelanggan dengan stok yang ada di gudang. Jenis pakan yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Royal Feed, Hy Pro Vite dan bona Vite. Proses analisa peramalan dilakukan berdasarkan data penjualan untuk 1 tahun, kemudian diperoleh hasil penelitian pakan produk Royal feed adalah 417 Kg untuk periode januari 2023, analisa peramalan untuk Hy Pro Vite adalah 514 kg dan untuk produk bona vite adalah 372 kg untuk periode januari 2023.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an event reservation and payment system to support tourism services at Istana Maimun, Medan. The system was developed to simplify the process of event booking, payment, and management for both users and administrators. The development method adopted was a web-based approach using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. System testing was carried out using the black-box method, focusing on functional requirements such as event creation, reservation processing, and payment confirmation. The testing scenarios included valid and invalid inputs to evaluate the system’s ability to handle different cases. The results showed that all core functionalities performed as expected, with correct status updates and validation messages. The payment module successfully processed transactions and displayed accurate order details, including transaction amounts and unique order IDs. In addition, the system effectively prevented duplicate payments and ensured data consistency between reservations and payment records. Based on these findings, the system is considered functionally ready for production use. It can improve operational efficiency and user experience in managing event reservations at Istana Maimun. Future development may focus on integrating additional features such as online ticket verification and mobile application support.

Abstract

Ducks are livestock that are kept by many people. Statistics show that Indonesia consistently produces more ducks each year. The rise in duck production indicates a rise in the use and consumption of ducks. Due to the large population of ducks, both communicable and non-communicable diseases are frequently quite prevalent. Breeders of ducks are affected by this, so they need information about duck diseases from an expert. In order to identify the disease being experienced before it progresses to a more serious stage, an expert system application is required to diagnose disease based on symptoms. The goal of this system is to mimic an expert system's knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The certainty factor and forward chaining techniques were applied in the creation of this expert system. The data search procedure in the forward chaining method begins at the premise and ends at the conclusion. Furthermore, the certainty factor is applied to quantify certainty. According to the study's findings, duck diseases were divided into eighteen categories by gathering thirty symptoms and assigning a confidence level to each one between 0 and 1. Based on this choice, the name of the duck disease and its percentage level will be shown.

Abstract

Implementasi Cloud Computing dalam Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pelayanan Kantor Desa Ulumamis Situnggaling adalah penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan administrasi di desa tersebut. Pemilihan topik ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan sistem yang terintegrasi dan mampu mengelola data secara optimal, mengingat saat ini proses pengolahan data di kantor desa belum terorganisir dengan baik sehingga menghambat kinerja dan kualitas pelayanan publik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi riset kebutuhan sistem, pengumpulan dan analisis data, serta perancangan dan pembuatan sistem berbasis web menggunakan teknologi cloud computing. Pengumpulan dan analisis data bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang relevan dan akurat guna mendukung perancangan sistem. Setelah itu, dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan sistem berbasis web yang menggunakan teknologi cloud computing untuk memastikan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat diakses dengan mudah, aman, dan efisien Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik, mampu meningkatkan kecepatan dan akurasi dalam pengolahan data serta mempermudah proses pelayanan administrasi kepada masyarakat. Sehingga dengan adanya sistem informasi manajemen berbasis website ini, data dapat diakses secara real-time dan terpusat, sehingga mengurangi risiko kesalahan dan kehilangan data. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memungkinkan integrasi yang lebih baik antar berbagai bagian administrasi, sehingga proses kerja menjadi lebih efisien dan terkoordinasi.

Abstract

The form of the final project at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan is not only in the form of a thesis but can also be in the form of a journal article. Final thesis and journal articles have different forms, ranging from writing formats, templates, to the number of pages that must be completed. In terms of writing, students sometimes experience difficulties and obstacles ranging from difficulty finding data, running out of ideas, writer's block, discipline to unproductive writing. Therefore, to see the effect of journal articles as a substitute for thesis on student writing productivity, it is necessary to conduct research using three indicators, namely completion targets, processing time, and the number of references used. This study uses mix method research methods with data collection through questionnaires and literature study. After conducting research, which was based on productivity indicators, it was found that there was no effect of journal articles as a substitute for thesis on the writing productivity of each student.

Abstract

In the digital era, property sales face significant challenges such as lengthy processes, involvement of multiple intermediaries, and lack of ownership transparency. This study aims to create a prototype property transaction system that utilizes blockchain technology, integrated with smart contracts, a Node.js backend, and a MySQL database. The system is simulated with Ganache as a local network to test the decentralized and secure data storage of transactions. The research methods include simulation and direct observation, as well as functional testing and performance evaluation using a black box testing approach to ensure the reliability and efficiency of each system component. Test results show a functional success rate of 100% from 14 test scenarios. Based on these findings, the system has been proven to validly record transactions, avoid double transactions, and maintain data integrity. Smart contract technology can partly replace notary functions digitally, while blockchain serves as a means of secure and immutable transaction storage. Therefore, this system can enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in property transaction processes and make a significant contribution to the digitalization of the real estate sector.
