Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) as a digital media in social studies, students' responses and active involvement, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors at SMP Al Anwari Banyuwangi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique. This study involved 15 informants consisting of the principal, social studies teachers, and eighth-grade students. Primary data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the utilization of IFP is realized through student-needs-based preparation and student-centered instructional implementation by integrating multimedia and educational games. Based on the Cone of Experience and Constructivism theories, this digital intervention proved to elicit a highly positive response. The IFP device successfully eliminated acute classroom boredom among passive students, while simultaneously reconstructing the habituation of less-disciplined students into a more orderly and productive conduct through tactile-kinesthetic engagement on the touchscreen. The primary supporting factors include infrastructure readiness, boarding school digital policies, and student enthusiasm; whereas the inhibiting factors comprise internet network instability, gaps in digital literacy among teachers, and the risk of visual distraction on students' focus. The school is recommended to improve internet capacity and TIK training evenly

Abstract

The Weton tradition in Cantuk Village is a form of local wisdom that integrates into five aspects of life; however, its existence is threatened due to a decline in philosophical understanding among the younger generation in the digital era. This study aims to describe the philosophical meaning and implementation of Weton, as well as to analyze the process of its inheritance and adaptation in the Society 5.0 era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved 45 informants across four hamlets selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed interactively using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. Max Weber’s Social Action theory and Cultural Adaptation theory were employed as analytical frameworks. The results show that Weton functions as a mechanism for risk management and life harmony. Although the inheritance process has shifted toward digital media, the validation of philosophical values still relies on the authority of elders through intergenerational dialogue. This phenomenon reflects the resilience and techno-cultural hybridity of the community in maintaining Weton as an adaptive identity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media film dokumenter terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) siswa MTs NU Anwarusy Syafa'ah Pondok Pesantren Syafa'atul Anwar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang diberikan tes sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) pembelajaran menggunakan media film dokumenter. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji Paired Sample t-Test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah penggunaan media film dokumenter. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media film dokumenter berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam siswa MTs NU Anwarusy Syafa'ah Pondok Pesantren Syafa'atul Anwar.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of behavioral contract techniques to reduce students' ’ruancy behavior at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi. The problems in this research are: (1) What is the description of students' ’ruant behavior at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi? (2) What is the description of the implementation of behavioral contract techniques for students at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi? (3) Can the behavioral contract technique reduce students' truancy habits at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi? The aim of this research is to determine: (1) A description of students' ’ruancy behavior at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi, (2) a description of the implementation of the behavioral contract technique among students at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi (3) The effectiveness of the behavioral contract technique for reducing student truancy behavior at SMK PGRI 1 Banyuwangi. This research is quantitative research with the type of experimental research Single Subject Research. The subjects of this research were five students with the initials RY, EI, DS, DK, and DA. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation.
