Abstract

This Article aims to describe how the implementation of religious moderation values at Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan UIN Salatiga. This article is one of the efforts to prevent the spread of radicalism among student who have been threatening. This research use a qualitative approach and type of field research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The result of the study are a descpriotion of the religious moderation values at Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan UIN Salatiga which include national commitment, tolerance, peace, and accommodation of lokal culture. National commitment is implemented with the culture of singing the “Indonesia Raya” at every event. Tolerance is implemented with mutual respect for each other. Peace is implemented with a culture of friendship and “tabayyun”. Lokal cultural accommodation is implemented with art performances.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has six officially recognized religions. This plurality of course has the potensial to create horizontal conflictd between religious adherents. It is proven that in 2020 there have been many conflicts and cases of intolerance religious background, even in education. Religious moderation is an attitude that every citizen in Indonesia must have so that religious backround conflict do not occur. The purpose of his study was to examine the values of religious moderation in the verse of the al-Qur’an  perspective of Ibnu Kas|ir contained in the “PAI dan Budi Pekerti Class XII Book’. This study uses a qualitative approach, library research methods, documentation collections techniques, inductive analysis, and peer checking techniques for validity. Verses that contain religious moderation values in the book include Surah al-Baqarah verse 83, Surah Ali- Imran verse 159, Surah Ali Imran verses 190-191, and Surah Ma’idah verse 2.

Abstract

Buku ajar merupakan hal yang semestinya disusun oleh masing-masing guru. Namun kenyataan di lapangan, banyak guru yang hanya mengandalkan bahan ajar dari buku ajar yang telah disediakan Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi profesional guru PAI melalui pelatihan penulisan buku ajar. Latar belakang dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah banyak guru yang hanya mengandalkan bahan ajar dari buku ajar yang telah disediakan, padahal semestinya guru menyusun buku ajarnnya sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah PAR (participatory action research), dimana penulis secara aktif ikut mendampingi kegiatan pelatihan buku ajar. Peserta dari kegiatan pelatihan penulisan buku ajar ini adalah 25 guru PAI di berbagai kota/kabupaten di sekitar kota Salatiga. Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan buku ajar ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, mendatangkan dua narasumber, menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, serta keterapmilan dalam menulis buku ajar, dengan outcome draft buku ajar yang diharapkan kedepannya bisa diterbitkan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in students' mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors, which have a direct impact on the formation of their character and morals. The digital era presents moral challenges in the form of a rapid flow of information, virtual social interactions, and easy access to content that does not always align with ethical and religious values. This study aims to analyze the role of moral education in shaping students' character in the digital era. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with library research methods, through a review of books, scientific journals, and previous research relevant to moral education, character education, and the dynamics of the digital era. Data analysis techniques used content analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding. The results of the study indicate that moral education plays a strategic role in shaping students' character, particularly in instilling the values ​​of honesty, responsibility, empathy, courtesy, and moral integrity. However, moral education depends heavily on the ability of educators, educational institutions, and families to integrate moral values ​​with digital literacy in a contextual and adaptive manner. Therefore, moral education remains a key pillar in shaping student character in the digital age when implemented through a holistic, collaborative, and contemporary approach.
