Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Tahuna is one of the Educational Institutions that aims to develop the potential of the nation's children so that they can compete at the world level. To meet these objectives Educational Institutions need to be equipped with adequate computer networks. This study aims to manage the computer network system in SMK Negeri 1 Tahuna so that it can be optimally utilized by teachers and students. The research method used in this study is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Steps being taken are: Analysis, Design, Prototype Simulation, Implementation, Observation, and Arrangement. There has been an increase in network quality after this study. Such as the delay value on the TKJ LAB SSID decreased by 47%, the value of packet lost by 67%, the difference in the value of downloads rose by 1.17 Mbps, the difference in the value of uploads rose by 0.99 Mbps and the delay value on the SSID SMK 1 year decreased by 47%, the value of the packet lost 33%, the difference in the value of downloads rose 0.74 Mbps, the difference in the value of uploads rose 1.75 Mbps. Abstract

Lecturer Workload (LW) and Lecturer Performance Report (LPR) is an illustration of the measurement of the "Tri Dharma Lecturer" in each semester. The filling of LW-LPR at Manado State University until the beginning of the even semester of the 2019-2020 school year still uses desktop-based applications that have not been integrated, so the assessment procedures cannot be carried out effectively and efficiently. This study aims to develop a web-based BKD-LKD filling and inspection application that can facilitate the input of workload and lecturer performance reports. The development of this system uses a research method namely the Prototype model which consists of the stages of listening to customers, building/repairing prototypes, testing customers. Testing this system uses the blackbox testing method.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasi manajemen stok obat berbasis web di Apotek RSUD Amurang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Prototype, dengan 5 tahapan yaitu komunikasi, perancangan secara cepat, pemodelan perancangan secara cepat, pembuatan prototype dan penyerahan sistem & dan umpan balik, dengan menggukan Bahasa PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan databse MySQL. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka didaptkan hasil bahwa aplikasi manajemen stok obat ini dapat mempermudah proses pengelolaan, pencarian, dan pelaporan data obat di Apotek RSUD Amurang.

Abstract

Abstract— This Surya Kencana Gold Shop is a shop that is engaged in buying and selling gold jewelry that has a specific business character. This study aims to design and implement a WEB-based sales application at the Surya Kencana Gold store. The method used in developing this application is Waterfall where there are six stages, namely Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, and Implementation of Maintenance Programs, used with the framework are codeigniter. The results of the research are a WEB-based Gold Shop sales application and have service functions, namely the function of purchasing, storing, selling and selling reports so that they can improve the sales system for the better. The method that used of testing this system is Blackbox texting method.

Abstract

Fire is one of the disasters that often occur in Indonesia. Especially in densely populated areas that have the potential to cause problems in the event of a fire. The obstacle that occurs is that firefighters are often late in handling due to various factors, so the damage and losses due to fires are greater. This study aims to create an internet of things (iot) based fire detection system. The system uses 3 sensors, namely the Irflame fire sensor, the Mq-2 gas sensor and the Dht11 temperature sensor and are assembled on the Nodemcu ESP8266 microcontroller. In experiments that have been carried out in a 3.5 mx 3.5 m room, the fire sensor can detect a small fire up to a distance of 30 cm and a large fire of 230 cm, then it will turn on the water pump when a fire is detected. When the Mq-2 sensor detects a gas leak above 300 PPM, it will turn on the fan to decompose the gas. The DHT11 sensor reads the room temperature value continuously and is set to a minimum temperature of 32˚C, the system will give a warning from the buzzer. The result of the design of this tool is that the system can send information through the blynk application on the user's smartphone and can handle fire signs based on the designed output.

Abstract

Central Buton is an area located in the Buton archipelago, Southeast Sulawesi which is a former heritage area of the Sultanate of Buton where the area has many natural and cultural tourist charms that must be preserved. This study aims to design and implement web-based tourism in Buton Tengah. The method used in the development of this application is Waterfall in which there are five namely Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, and Implementation of Maintenance Programs, with the PHP programming language and Sublime Text 3. The result of the research is that the Central Buton Tourism system is website-based and has a service function, namely the function of providing tourist information, booking tickets, so that the sales system can be improved for the better. Testing this system using the Black Box testing method, so that it is able to answer and show that the system created is in accordance with the objectives of the researcher and is able to meet user needs.

Abstract

Online news is a report about an event that is presented online by a news publishing company through an online news portal. Manado News is a news portal that presents news online which is divided into several categories. This study aims to analyze the data on news titles on the Manado News online news portal, Legal and Criminal category, to find out the crimes that are rampant and reported on this news portal. The analysis is carried out by implementing one of the methods in topic modeling, namely Latent Dirichlet Allocation. This method is used to find the topic of discussion in a document with a large capacity and displays the words that appear the most in a topic. The data needed for modeling was obtained by scraping on the online news portal Manado News, with a span of five years, from April 2017 to April 2022. After the data was processed using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method, one topic of discussion was found, namely conventional crime groups. The topic contains a number of words which are types of crime in the conventional crime category, namely, persecution, theft, murder, stabbing, motor vehicle theft, sexual abuse and liquor.

Abstract

The process of collecting data on the attendance of teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School still uses manual methods and has not been computerized both in taking attendance data to the process of recapitulating attendance data. Based on this, this research aims to design and develop an attendance system by applying face recognition technology. An agile software development method with scrum framework is used to develop the system, this system uses the Viola-Jones algorithm to perform face detection, and uses the Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) algorithm for face recognition. With a test distance of 1 meter the ViolaJones algorithm gets an accuracy result of 100% and for a distance of 2 meters gets an accuracy result of 0%. Local Binary Pattern Histograms (LBPH) algorithm, getting 100% accuracy for 40 tests with 4 different face samples with a testing distance of 1 meter between the camera and the faces. Based on the results of the tests, it can be concluded that the face recognition-based attendance system was successfully developed for use by teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School.

Abstract

Data is a collection generated from various media used by humans. DNA data is a form of data, which is data in the form of genetic code text to store biological identities and characteristics of living things. This study used DNA to test the similarity level of North Sulawesi pigs. The method used is the Pairwise Sequence Alignment method. With sequences of different DNA lengths, the researcher implemented the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm for alignment. Matching is used using the BioPython module, which is in pairwise2. And this study produces a model and proportion of the similarity level of North Sulawesi Pigs that can be used as future references for biological research on molecular biology or for the field of informatics in implementing Needleman-Wunsch algorithm in Python, or references and additional knowledge for research in Bioinformatics.

Abstract

The Covid-19 what is usually known as the Corona virus, is a very dangerous virus which has killed thousands and even more people every day. One of the simple ways to fight this virus is to wear a mask when you are out of the house. This study aims to design a 3D game that can educate children about the importance of masks during the current pandemic. There are also several quizzes related to Covid-19 in this game. Not only quizzes that educate about Covid-19, there are also several math quizzes that are expected to hone the user's numeracy skills. This game has gameplay that is not difficult and easy to understand for children and adults, considering that the target users of this game are children aged 8 to 12 years who are still too new to understand prevention methods Covid-19 during this pandemic. The research method used in this study is the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method. The results of this study is a 3D educational game application "Ucul Si Pejuang Covid" which can be run on a PC as a means of education for children.
