Abstract

Clustering is a process of grouping data based on similarities or similarities with other members in a group. Food security is the condition of a country to provide food for individuals, which does not conflict with beliefs, religion and culture and leads a healthy, active and productive life. Food instability and food insecurity can be caused by many factors, one of which is natural disasters. In 2020, Jember Regency experienced 121 natural disasters. Determination of the optimal K value is done to get the right number of group divisions from the clustering process, in this case using the elbow method. The data used in the clustering process are sub-districts in Jember Regency using transient attributes or natural disaster events. Based on the results of sub-district data grouping from the number of clusters k=1 to k=10, the optimal k value was found at the value of k = 4 with the SSE (Sum of Square Error) value = 24,809.

Abstract

Chili production in East Java in 2016 reached nearly 2 million tons with details of 1 million tons of chili and large chili 939 thousand tons. The abundant amount of chili production is still the cause of inflation. The inflation factor is caused by several factors, one of which is the abundant amount of chili production but occurs in certain months or other causes are uneven distribution. The chili production center in East Java is still experiencing problems with distribution activities in meeting the demands of chili every city. Shipments carried out in East Java also do not have an optimal value to meet the number of requests. The poor delivery plan also caused errors in arranging inventory to make deliveries. The East Java government needs a way to analyze the distribution of chili by planning scheduling to improve the ability to fulfill chili demand using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. Planning using this DRP method can produce an analysis of the gross needs and needs of chili in each city with the level of service used in the safety stock is 90%, with a normal distribution table that is equal to 1.28.

Abstract

Credit union has a substantial role in supporting the growth of the national economy. A number of credit Unions implements DSS application to promote and accelerate the process of decision-making by management. DSS can provide ease of calculation, accuracy in the calculation and examination. However, an ITinvestment in DSS application, as well as other investments, is a segment that depletes costs and effort. The cost is calculated from the procurement, and continues during maintenance or during the investment implemented. Thus the implementation of DSS on a credit union needs to be measured whether it is quite fit and gives positive impacts on decision-making by management and on sale.

Abstract

By setting up the right service and product for the customer, the company may increase its marketing effectiveness as well as sales. For that purpose, information on company’s product and sales is highly needed in order to help on decision making process, which expectedly enables company to create value and eventually gain competitive advantage. This research attempts to develop a Data warehouse for PT XXX, which is expected to exhibit useful information for the company without disturbing its operational system. The Data warehouse is developed with Oracle 11g. Apart from that, this research also aims to gather information and knowledge with spatial database. The data mining is conducted by using WEKA application, which compares the algorithm of DBSCAN, K-Means, and EM clustering. Data mining from the spatial data is expected to create area map which indicates sales rate of PT Pos Indonesia’s products. Through this it is hoped that the company may focus more in marketing certain product with particular advantage in one particular area to produce effectiveness. The research outcome indicates that the Data warehouse being developed has already managed to exhibit the receipt report of postal money order (wesel pos), retail stock, as well as retail sales.

Abstract

In the face of the development of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in tertiary institutions which is increasing, so that it requires an IT performance analysis method that can assess company performance accurately and thoroughly. This research was conducted to determine the extent of IT performance, whether it has met the needs and business strategies of tertiary institutions and IT strategies, and which still need improvements and improvements. In addition, the results of the analysis can be used as a basis as a reference for improving IT performance in Jember University. The purpose of using the IT Balanced Scorecard method is to analyze the IT performance of Jember University from four perspectives, namely: the perspective of the company's contribution, the perspective of user orientation, the perspective of operational improvement, and the perspective of future orientation. From the results of measurements that have been carried out it is known that the overall IT performance of Jember University is quite good, this is indicated by the results of the IT Balanced Scorecard size generated from each perspective.

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) An-Nida berada di wilayah Desa Dukuhdempok, Kecamatan Wuluhan, Kabupaten Jember. Alamat tepatnya berada di Jl. Moch. Serueji No. 18 B, Wuluhan. Lokasi TPA An-Nida berada sejauh 32 km dari Universitas Jember. Di era digital saat ini, manajemen dan layanan TPA An-Nida masih konvensional. Di antaranya adalah pencatatan data santri, presensi, dan prestasi santri yang masih dikelola secara manual. Hal ini menyulitkan saat pencarian data santri. Terjadinya duplikasi data santri juga memungkinkan. Selain itu, TPA An-Nida masih belum memiliki sarana dan prasarana teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Padahal, TIK ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan layanan dan manajemen TPA serta dapat digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran berbasis TIK bagi santri. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, pada Progran Pengabdian Pemula (PPP) ini, dilakukan pembuatan aplikasi database untuk menampung data administrasi santri, data presensi dan prestasi santri, dokumentasi kegiatan TPA, serta data pengajar TPA. Pengadaan alat TIK berupa PC tablet untuk meningkatkan layanan dan manajemen TPA serta digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi santri. Pelatihan pemakaian aplikasi database santri serta aplikasi media belajar santri berbasis TIK. Hasil dari kegiatan PPP ini adalah (1) Meningkatkan layanan pengelolaan TPA An-Nida dengan adanya aplikasi database santri yang terpusat untuk penyimpanan data santri, data keluar/masuk santri, prestasi santri, serta pengajar TPA, (2) Mendigitalkan dokumentasi kegiatan TPA yang tersusun rapi berupa portofolio TPA An-Nida. (3) Mengelola TPA dan pembelajaran menggunakan TIK, (4) Menulis artikel ilmiah dalam jurnal nasional, serta (5) Mendokumentasikan kegiatan PPP dalam bentuk video.

Abstract

ABSTRAK    Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S) adalah salah satu kelompok tani yang diketuai oleh Bapak Buharto di desa Karang Melok, kecamatan Tamanan, kabupaten Bondowoso. Kegiatan utama dari P4S adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk menjalankan pertanian organik dan pembuatan pupuk organik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi P4S adalah pada kegiatan pemasaran dan proses pendaftaran bagi kelompok atau individu yang ingin mengikuti pelatihan. Selama ini pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh P4S adalah dengan cara konvensional yaitu dari mulut ke mulut. Pendaftaran hanya dapat dilakukan secara langsung melalui telpon tanpa adanya proses pendataan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk pemasaran dan meningkatkan brand awareness P4S adalah dengan membuatkan website dan akun di media sosial (facebook), dan kemudian disosialisasikan penggunaanya ke pengelola/anggota P4S.Kata kunci : P4S, pemasaran, brand awareness, website, media sosial. ABSTRACT “Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S)” is one of the farmer groups chaired by Mr. Buharto in Karang Melok village, Tamanan, Bondowoso. The main activity of P4S is to provide training to runing organic farming and making organic fertilizer. The problems faced by P4S are marketing activities and the registration process for groups or individuals who want to take part in the training. So far the marketing carried out by P4S is in the conventional way, which is word of mouth. Registration can only be done directly by telephone without the data collection process. Efforts that can be made for P4S in marketing activities and increasing brand awareness are by creating websites and account on social media (in this case Facebook), and then disseminated its use to members of P4S.

Abstract

Data of rice plant is important in Indonesia because rice is the staple food for Indonesian people. Rice plant data can be formatted into web service, so anyone can access the information from anywhere by using internet. But, high numbers of request are the problem for web server apps. One of the solution is by distributing request into some server. In this paper, we will compare failed request and time per request in conventional server and clustered server with docker swarm. Server apps in clustered server shows lower value of failed request than conventional server in our experiment. With two containers, number of failed request obtain 0.78% lower than conventional server in 25.000 requests, and 0.69% lower than conventional server in 50.000 requests.

Abstract

Today's increasingly rapid use of digital technology has created many new opportunities for organizations in all industrial fields. Digital transformation has a positive impact on innovation and company performance based on the theory of the resource-based view. The growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and their relatively high role in the community's economy, is also accompanied by several problems that arise in the face of the current digitalization era. The main challenges in the digitization process for SMEs are limited financial resources, limited knowledge resources, and limited technology awareness. An ecosystem-based digital platform enables SMEs to integrate strategic knowledge sources while configuring internal and external resources to better respond to a dynamic and volatile environment.

Abstract

One in four people in the world needs a blood transfusion during their lifetime, but only 37% of the population qualify as donors, and only 10% donate blood regularly. The fact that more blood needs than donating blood makes UDD PMI challenging to meet demand when the existing bloodstock is insufficient or empty. And based on the results of research interviews with sources, there was a problem of increasing blood stocks that decreased in certain months, followed by a decrease in blood demand, which caused a reasonably high change in the following month. This caused blood demand could not be met due to reduced demand and supply but increased in the next month without sufficient stock increase. Based on the problems described above, researchers see the need to estimate the number of blood demand needs in the Jember PMI UDD with linear regression and Double Exponential Smoothing methods. With the forecasting and understanding of past time series models, it is possible to predict future values. From there, researchers want to minimize stakeholder decision-making errors and provide options to stakeholders concerning the minimum number of blood bags that need to be provided. In conclusion, the results of the prediction implementation predict data that is different from the data found in the field. The approximate accuracy is 60.32% and 46.96% for linear regression and double exponential smoothing. The worst absolute error value of the linear regression method is data 0 and 15 using actual data. The worst absolute error is the worst double exponential data 0 and 27.7.
