Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman dan minat pelaku usaha tentang urgensi sertifikasi produk pangan industri rumah tangga dan legalitas usaha. Peserta terdiri dari 16 pelaku usaha Industri Rumah Tangga  produk tahu dan tempe di Desa Lambusa, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan melalui penyuluhan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dari aspek legalitas usaha dan jaminan keamanan produk. Evaluasi program menggunakan kuisioner pre-post kegiatan.  Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat telah efektif dilaksanakan yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang urgensi dan prosedur sertifikasi produk dan legalitas usaha. Minat peserta untuk memiliki sertifikat produk pangan  berada pada kategori tinggi, sementara minat peserta untuk memiliki legalitas usaha berada pada kategori sangat tinggi.  Rekomendasi yang diajukan berupa upaya instansi terkait guna membuka akses yang lebih luas bagi pendaftaran legalitas usaha maupun sertifikasi produk pangan. Counseling on Certification and Business Legality at Tofu and Tempe Industry Centers in South Konawe Regency  The purpose of service activities is to increase understanding and interest of business actors regarding the urgency of the certification of household industry food products  and business legality. Participants consisted of 16 household industry Tofu  and Tempe products in Lambusa Village, South Konawe Regency. Implementation method through counseling. Service activities are carried out from the aspect of business legality and product safety guarantees. Program evaluation using the pre-post questionnaire activities. Based on the results of the evaluation, community service activities have been effectively implemented by increasing participants' understanding of the urgency and procedures of product certification and business legality. The interest of participants to have a food product certificate is in the high category, while the interest of participants to have business legality is in a very high category. Recommendations submitted in the form of relevant agencies' efforts to open wider access for registration of business legality and food product certification

Abstract

There is still a gap between the target and the realization of movie/cinemax tax receipis, restaurant tax, and motorized racing tax in Kendari City. This study aim to find out and analyze: (1) the gap between the target and the realization of movie/cinema tax, restaurant tax, and motorized racing tax (2) the factors that influence the level of movie/cinema tax, restaurant tax, and motorized tax. The type of data data used is primary data and secondary data. The analytical tool that used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) the gap between the target and realization of movie/cinema tax, restaurant tax, and motorized racing tax in Kendari City in 2013-2017 tended to increase with an average gap Rp225.257.700. (b) the gap between the target and realization of restaurant tax in Kendari City in 2013-2017 fluctuated with an average gap Rp152.026.922. (c) the gap between the target and realization of motorized racing tax in Kendari City in 2013-2017 tended to decline with an average gap Rp2.900.000. (2) the factors that influence the level of realization of movie/cinema tax, restaurant tax, and motorized racing tax are : tax payers awareness, data base and potential tax, while the regional regulations regarding taxation and sanctions for non-paying tax don’t affect the level of realization of movie/cinema tax, restaurant tax, and motorized racing tax. For the Government of Kendari City to always try to manage and increase the potential of local taxes and provide the strict sanctions for non-compliant taxpayers so that there is no longer a gap between the target and realization of regional taxes in Kendari City.

Abstract

Banana stem (BS) waste is obtained in large quantities in banana production. In this work, microwave extraction (MAE) from BS was used, and the solvent concentration parameters were 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 96% (v/v) ethanol, and 5% HCl with a sample weight of 10 g each. The influence of solvent, time, temperature, and solid: the liquid ratio was evaluated on the extraction results. Total phenolic content (TPC) and its functional performance against Fusarium oxysporum. The effect of a high ethanol concentration on BS extraction was observed because the higher ethanol solvent concentration resulted in higher extraction results and TPC. Optimal MAE conditions were determined at 200 watts for 20 minutes, with 80% ethanol showing better TPC results than other ethanol concentrations, namely 0.7171 mg g-1. The results of chemical content analysis using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) of BS extract of 80% ethanol obtained phenolic compounds, carboxylic acids, aldehydes, esters, ketones, and furans. BS extract of 80% ethanol showed antifungal activity of Fusarium oxysporum with an apparent zone diameter of 9.7 mm (moderate category). It can be concluded that MAE is an efficient technique for releasing bioactive molecules from BS with TPC and antifungal applications in the agricultural industry.
