Abstract

Research has been carried out using a magnetic method that aims to interpret the subsurface structure of the area hot springs Derekan - Diwak based on the total magnetic field anomaly data. It also aims to investigate the geothermal system in the area.Some 99 points measurement areas were measured using PPM (Proton Precession Magnetometer) geometrics type GSM19T models to get the value of the total magnetic field and two points as a base station simultaneously measured using the PPM G856X models. Measurement data is processed by the daily variation correction and IGRF (International Geomagnetic Reference Field) correction. The data has been used to create a contour corrected total magnetic field anomalies and subsurface cross sections involving the upward continuation and reduction to the poles.The results of study showed the total magnetic field anomaly closure pair of positive and negative closure indicate a fault zone below the surface. Interpretation is strengthened by the results of the modeling showed two faults of Derekan - Diwak areas trending southwest- northeast. This fault zone is a media outlet fluid to the surface in the area of geothermal systems.Keywords: geothermal, fault, and total magnetic field

Abstract

Extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) is the most cost effective treatment option in cases of kidney stones. ESWL uses an energy source called lithotriptor to produce a shock wave that is high in electromagnetic energy in pulses to break down rocks into fine grains of sand and come out naturally with urine. In this study the authors modified the control of the ESWL unit by adding an automatic wave shooting system based on respiration from therapeutic patients using the MPXV7002DP sensor and the ATmega16 microcontroller and applying the 16x2 LCD as a display.The maximum reading capability of this module is 9000 times the active relay, which means that ESWL can shoot as many as 9000 times automatically according to human breathing. This automatic kidney stone therapy module can shoot as many as 3 waves in one breath. Has created a number of inspiration counters and the number of wave shots that ESWL has fired into kidney stone therapy patients.

Abstract

Hypo-hyperthermia tool is a devive that can stabilize body temperature which decreases or increases temperature dramatically. The design of hypo-hyperthermia devices has been made using Arduino Uno. Functional tests have also been carried out on the hypo-hyperthermia tool to determine the level of success and eligibility. This tool works by utilizing the flow of water to provide the temperature needed by the patient in order to obtain a normal temperature, namely by increasing the temperature of the blanket when the patient has hypothermia and lowering the temperature of the blanket when the patient has hyperthermia. The design of this hypo-hyperthermia tool uses Arduino uno as a processor and DS18B20 sensor for temperature readings. Heaters are also used as water heaters, condensers as water coolers, and water pumps to drive the water cycle from the appliance to the blanket and back to the appliance. The temperature and mode settings will be displayed on the LCD screen. Function test results obtained by comparing the value of the temperature reading in skin mode with a digital thermometer that is obtained an error value of 0.3%. This temperature difference is affected by the room temperature and body temperature of the patient which can change at any time. It was also obtained by comparison of the temperature reading values in blanket mode with a digital thermometer that is obtained the largest error value of 6% at a setting value of 25 °C and the smallest error value of 0.3% at a setting value of 30 °C. This temperature difference is influenced by the temperature of the room at the time of measurement on the blanket is also influenced by the thickness of the hose installed on the blanket, so that the cold temperature in the water is not absorbed properly.

Abstract

Monitoring the nutritional status of infants at this time is mostly still using the manual method, by looking at anthropomeric standard books so that nutritional monitoring takes longer and is less practical. Babies need nutritional status based on age, weight, length of the baby (baby's height), and sex of the baby. To find out the nutritional condition of the baby, the author wants to develop a measurement tool for weight and length of the baby with the output data in Microsoft Excel. This study aims to design a baby's weight and length measurement tools with data output at Microsoft Excel and perform a function test. The process of detection in infants using ultrasonic sensors that serves to determine the height or length of the baby's body and load cell sensors to determine the baby's weight, then the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) which displays the results of ultrasonic sensors and load cell sensors and Arduino Uno. The results of this study are an infant weight and height measurement tool with an arduino uno-based anthropometric index method with 2 ultrasonic sensors as height and length counters, and 1 load cell sensor as a weight calculator for infants that will later be displayed on the LCD screen.

Abstract

The climatic chamber is a calibration medium for the thermohygrometer. This simple climatic chamber was built using the Arduino uno, DHT22 sensor, heater, and peltier. The climatic chamber was designed and manufactured well and cheaply. Climatic chamber testing of the design results is carried out to determine the success rate of the tool. Tests are carried out using the Madgetech data logger tool through monitoring or monitoring of temperature within a certain period of time. The results of temperature monitoring at two observed values, namely temperatures of 250C to 300C and temperatures of 300C to 350C, showed good results with the corresponding rhythm of temperature increase and temperature decrease. It's just that the decrease in temperature still takes longer than the increase in temperature. This shows that the heater can be said to be working optimally and the peltier is not fully working. So it is necessary to do further studies related to the peltier for the climatic chamber both in terms of number and characteristics.

Abstract

Tambak Lorok merupakan kawasan pesisir pantai utara yang terletak di Kelurahan Tanjung Mas, Kecamatan Semarang Utara. Kawasan ini sering terkena rob yang secara tidak langsung memengaruhi psikologi warga. Pandemi Covid-19 termasuk kategori bencana non alam yang juga melanda Tambak Lorok. Hal ini mendorong kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan cara psikoedukasi agar orang tua dapat menciptakan keluarga yang tangguh di masa bencana. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan secara langsung oleh pelaksana pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini agar orang tua dapat memberikan dukungan psikologis awal kepada anak saat menghadapi situasi sulit baik oleh insiden, situasi darurat maupun bencana.

Abstract

White Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (WMTA) was produced using silica as the initial material extracted from rice husk ash and calcium carbonate limestone. This research was initiated by calcinating rice husk ash at 700°C for 3 hours. Silica extraction was performed using 2 M NaOH and added HCl. The extract precipitate was washed using deionized water. Calcium carbonate was made from limestone using 1 M HNO3 and NH3 and continued with carbonation. WMTA was produced by mixing SiO2, CaCO3, and Al2O3. The mixture was homogenized with deionized water and heated, then pellets calcined made at a temperature of 1000°C, and calcination products were added Bi2O3. Synthesized WMTA characterized using TGA/DSC, FTIR, and XRD showed the presence of Ca3SiO5, Ca2SiO4, and Ca3Al2O6 phases, which were like ProRoot’s WMTA.

Abstract

Stroke in Indonesia was the second leading cause of death and third cause of disability in the world. In Indonesia, the proportion of disability adjusted life-years (DALYs) contribution from stroke is around 9.7% and is the number one cause of disability. People with disabilities will have difficulty doing daily activities, especially communication. Therefore it is necessary to develop communication aids that can help stroke sufferers communicate daily by utilizing palm movements. In this study, two flex sensors were placed on the fingers. Communication aids for stroke sufferers function to detect four basic movements, namely: "I want to eat", "I want to drink", "I want to urinate/poop",and “rest”. The four sentences are also displayed on a display and also on the Smartphone. The detection of these four movements is obtained by bending the two fingers which are detected using a flex sensor placed on a glove. This tool is expected to be the development of communication aids for stroke sufferers.

Abstract

HHotplate magnetic stirrer merupakan peralatan laboratorium yang digunakan untuk membuat suatu larutan menjadi homogen dengan memanaskan cairan dan mengaduknya menggunakan batang pengaduk magnet. Pelat pemanas pada pengaduk menjaga larutan pada suhu konstan sambil dilakukan pengadukan sehingga mampu mempercepat proses pencampuran. Gelas beaker yang berisi larutan yang akan diaduk dan berisi batang magnet diletakkan diatas plate. Perancangan prototipe magnetic stirrer dengan dilengkapi pemanas beserta pengatur waktu dan kecepatan melalui LCD Nextion bertujuan untuk mempermudah pekerjaan seorang laboran dalam proses homogenisasi suatu larutan, dengan menggunakan batang magnet sebagai pengaduk. Berdasarkan data hasil pengujian alat yang telah dilakukan, hasil yang didapat dari pengujian yaitu dinyatakan bahwa alat dapat bekerja pada putaran 500 Rpm hingga 5000 Rpm dengan persentase error 1,4 – 5,6 %, tingkat error suhu yang disetting sebesar 0,3 – 0,8%, dan selisih waktu terhadap waktu setting adalah 0,42’. Persentase error (kesalahan) untuk pengukuran waktu, suhu dan kecepatan tidak melewati batas normal (masih dibawah 10%) sesuai yang dipersyaratkan oleh dinas kesehatan.

Abstract

Gelombang listrik mempunyai sebuah peran penting dalam berbagai unsur dalam kehidupan manusia, salah satunya dibidang kesehatan dimanfaatkan untuk diagnosa, sumber alat kesehatan, dan terapi penyakit. Pada proses terapi, arus listrik yang mempunyai frekuensi rendah dapat menstimulus bagian otot – otot saraf pada motorik maupun sensorik yang sakit dengan menggunakan aliran tenaga listrik yang sering disebut elektrostimulator. Elektrostimulator adalah sebuah perangkat elektronik yang menghasilkan gelombang listrik serta memiliki bentuk gelombang, amplitudo, frekuensi, dan lebar pulsa tertentu yang digunakan untuk menstimulasikan otot pada manusia. Dari parameter bentuk gelombang, peneliti bertujuan melakukan penelitian dengan jenis gelombang yang berbeda pada setiap terapi sehingga dilakukan penelitian tentang jenis gelombang yang diterapkan pada terapi. Pada metode penelitian ini dilakukan uji coba elektrostimulator dengan output tiga gelombang yaitu gelombang sinus, square, dan triangle yang dilengkapi dengan parameter setting level satu sampai tiga dengan nilai frekuensi dan duty cycle yang telah ditentukan. Uji fungsi alat  dilakukan dengan memasang elektroda pada bagian lengan atas kemudian di uji cobakan pada semua jenis parameter dan setting level untuk membandingkan hasil yang didapat agar dapat mengetahui perbedaan hasil setiap parameter. Setiap jenis gelombang menimbulkan efek terapi yang berbeda, dan setting level memberikan tingkat rasa efek terapi yang berbeda pula. Semakin tinggi level maka semakin terasa efek terapi yang diberikan. Tingkat rasa stimulan dipengaruhi oleh tegangan, frequensi, dan duty cycle. Hasil rancang bangun alat memiliki persentase nilai kesalahan yang dilakukan dari uji fungsi alat ini yaitu 1,5%, 1,0%, dan 3,3%.
