Abstract

Breastfeeding is not an activity that can occur automatically but is an activity that must be well prepared for its success. The success of exclusive breastfeeding and the success of a mother in breastfeeding requires support from all parties, especially the husband and family. Various efforts have been made to increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding, both health promotion and government regulations. However, these efforts still do not provide maximum results in achieving exclusive breastfeeding. One effort that can do to increase the role of breastfeeding fathers using the Mantap ASI package so it is hoped that mothers will have maximum support in providing exclusive breastfeeding. This community service aims to increase the role of breastfeeding fathers in efforts to succeed in exclusive breastfeeding through implementation of the Mantap ASI package in the Nanggalo Community Health Center Working Area, Nanggalo District, Padang City. The methods used were lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and oral evaluations with 80 respondents. This activity resulted in an increase in respondents' knowledge and understanding of exclusive breastfeeding, breastfeeding, and the importance of the role of breastfeeding fathers through oral questions given. Apart from that, there was also an increase in the mother's ability in breastfeeding techniques and the father's ability to do oxytocin massage

Abstract

Clinical practice learning is a learning activity held in practice settings such as hospitals, clinics, health centers and communities. Phenomenological studies state that the duties and responsibilities as a preceptor cannot be carried out optimally. Surveying student perceptions regarding the role of preceptors in practice areas, 12% stated that preceptors were less cooperative, less friendly, and less guiding; 11.3% stated that preceptors were busy with other tasks, and 15.3% stated that preceptors were busy with patients. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of preceptor mentor training on student satisfaction at the Padang DII Midwifery Study Program, Padang Ministry of Health Polytechnic. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was clinical practice supervisors in hospitals, community health centers, and midwives' independent practice in West Sumatra. The sampling technique used total sampling with a total of 80 respondents. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The research results showed that out of a total of 80 respondents, 47 respondents (58.75%) had participated in preceptor mentor training and 38.75% of them had received student satisfaction ratings in the high category in guiding students. Conclusion : The Chi-square test result is 0.000, preceptor mentor training has an influence on student satisfaction at the DIII Midwifery Study Program, Padang Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Padang in guiding clinical practice in the practice area. Recommended that the institution to collaborate with the hospital so that preceptorship training can be carried out jointly and complement each other between clinical and academic supervisors.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAir Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan pertama dan pilihan terbaik bagi bayi pada awal kehidupannya. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk peningkatan pencapaian pemberian ASI eksklusif. Promosi mengenai menyusui juga semakin meningkat dilakukan, diiringi dengan mulai menjamurnya organisasi atau perkumpulan tentang menyusui. Namun hal ini tidak serta merta meningkatkan cakupan informasi menyusui pada masyarakat. Pencapaian pemberian ASI eksklusif juga masih belum mencapai target yang ditetapkan yaitu 80%. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu untuk menyusui secara eksklusif yaitu melalui penggunaan paket MANTAP ASI. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif dengan memberikan pengetahuan terkait menyusui dan ASI eksklusif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, demontrasi, dan diskusi serta kuesioner dengan 80 responden. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan responden dengan pengetahuan tinggi sebesar 81% dan motivasi tinggi sebesar 85%. Diharapkan dapat menerapkan paket MANTAP ASI dalam keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, ASI Eksklusif, Motivasi, Pengetahuan ABSTRACTBreastmilk (ASI) is the first food and the best choice for babies in early life. Various efforts have been made to increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding. The promotion of breastfeeding is also increasing, accompanied by the growth of breastfeeding organizations or associations. However, this does not necessarily increase the coverage of breastfeeding information to the public. The achievement of exclusive breastfeeding also has not reached the target set, 80%. One off the effort to increase knowledge and motivation mothers to breastfeed through the use MANTAP ASI package. The purpose of community service was to increase knowledge and motivation to exclusive breastfeeding with give knowledge about breastfeed and exclusive breastfeeding. This study use lecture, demonstration, and discussion methods, as well as quesionaires with 80 respondents. This activity resulted 81% respondents with high knowledge and 85% respondents with high motivation. Abstract

Masalah yang sering terjadi selama proses persalinan adalah nyeri. Data menunjukkan dari 2700 ibu bersalin, 20% diantaranya dengan nyeri sangat hebat, 30% diantaranya dengan nyeri hebat, 35 % diantaranya denggan nyer sedang, dan hanya 15% dengan nyeri ringan. Manajemen nyeri persalinan dapat ditatalaksana secara farmakologi maupun non-farmakologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan quasi-experiment dengan non-equivalent control group pretes-post test. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 14 responden pada masing-masing kelompok. Uji statistik wilcoxon didapatan p-value 0.000 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri  ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di RSUD Solok Selatan. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan pelayanan asuhan sayang ibu dengan manajemen pengurangan rasa nyeri pada saat ibu bersalin.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the complementary relationship between Guidance and Counseling BK services and subject learning in the context of the educational ecosystem Using a qualitative approach through a literature study method this study analyzes various theories previous research results and relevant integration models The results of the study indicate that synergy between BK teachers and subject teachers can improve the quality of learning and overall student well being This synergy is evident in the collaboration of learning planning mentoring problematic students and strengthening character in the learning process However role differentiation is still needed to avoid overlapping functions BK teachers remain focused on the psychosocial and self development aspects of students while subject teachers on the academic aspects This study also identifies an effective collaboration based integration model namely through a whole school approach that unites various educational functions The implications of this study are the need for cross professional training and school policies that support structural synergy and role differentiation to create holistic and sustainable education < p>

Abstract

Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang masih menjadi tantangan serius di Indonesia, khususnya penularan HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, dan Sifilis yang dapat ditransmisikan dari ibu kepada bayi yang dilahirkan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan calon pengantin tentang bahaya IMS serta pentingnya pelaksanaan skrining Triple Eliminasi sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan sejak sebelum pernikahan dilangsungkan di wilayah Kecamatan Nanggalo Kota Padang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan interaktif berbasis partisipasi mitra wilayah dengan melibatkan Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Nanggalo dan Puskesmas Nanggalo sebagai mitra utama, pemeriksaan Rapid Diagnostic Test, konseling individual, serta pemberian booklet dan media edukasi kepada peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan sebanyak enam kali pertemuan sejak Juli hingga September 2025 dengan total peserta 60 pasang atau 120 orang calon pengantin yang seluruhnya merupakan target yang telah ditetapkan sejak awal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan pada peserta, dibuktikan dari hasil posttest di mana hampir seluruh peserta mampu menjawab pertanyaan evaluasi dengan benar. Calon pengantin yang semula beranggapan bahwa pemeriksaan Triple Eliminasi hanya dilakukan saat kehamilan kini memahami bahwa pemeriksaan tersebut wajib dilakukan sebelum pernikahan dilangsungkan.

Abstract

The study aims to develop and validate an online thesis management system designed to address the limitations of manual systems in the thesis supervision process, such as a lack of transparency, delays in communication, and difficulties in monitoring student progress. In response to these challenges, this study proposes an integrated system framework that facilitates real-time academic interaction between students and their thesis advisors. The method employs a system development research approach using the waterfall model, which was selected for its suitability in developing structured and systematically documented systems. The research phases include requirements analysis, system design based on Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and use case diagrams, implementation, and system testing. The system was evaluated using a usability testing approach, involving the distribution of a questionnaire to 55 respondents to measure usability, ease of use, and user satisfaction. The results indicate that the developed system model is capable of improving the efficiency of thesis supervision management, enhancing the transparency of academic processes, and supporting data driven decision making. The main contribution of this study lies in the development of an adaptive, user-oriented academic information system model, which not only has practical implications for the management of final projects but also provides a conceptual foundation for the development of similar systems in higher education institutions. The implications of this study underscore the importance of ongoing system integration with other academic platforms, as well as the need for periodic system evaluations to enhance the user experience and ensure the sustainability of the implementation.
