Abstract

Coronavirus (CoV) is the cause of respiratory system disease with mild to severe symptoms. The first COVID-19 was reported in Indonesia on March 2, 2020, with as many as two cases. The Indonesian Pediatrician Association West Sumatera recorded that until July 25, 2021, 8,429 children from the age of 0-18 years were attacked by Covid-19. Prevent the transmission by implementing health protocols (wearing masks, washing hands, keeping distance, staying away from crowds, and limiting mobility). Observations show that there are people who do not follow these regulations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on students' knowledge about preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The type of research used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. This study used a group that was given an educational intervention using PowerPoint, video, and demonstrations. Sampling technique with a total population of 36 respondents. Processing data using paired T-test. The average value after being given education (18.17) was higher than before (16.19) with p-value = 0.000. It can be concluded that education affects students' knowledge about preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus at SDN 17 Gunung Pangilun Padang. The school is advised to implement health protocols in schools to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at SDN 17 Gunung Pangilun Padang.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the fastest transmission of HIV/AIDS in Southeast Asia. From its first discovery in 1987 until June 2019, HIV/AIDS has been reported by 463 (90.07%) districts/cities in Indonesia. The lack of knowledge and attitudes of the foster women towards health behaviors about HIV/AIDS becomes the cause of the increasing number of people with HIV/AIDS in West Sumatra Province. One way to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS is by providing health education. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on HIV/AIDS on women's knowledge and attitudes in PSKW Andam Dewi Solok Regency. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. June 5-9, 2020, data collection was carried out in the Hall of PSKW Andam Dewi. The population in this study were all fostered women totaling 40 people, and all of them were sampled, namely 40 people. The data collection was conducted using a questionnaire method. Univariate and bivariate analysis was used in the data processing techniques of editing, coding, entry, tabulating, and cleaning with a dependent t-test. The study results showed that the average knowledge before and after counseling was 14.08 and 18.22, respectively. The results of mean attitude before and after counseling was 89.05 and 111.80, respectively. The statistical test results found that there was an influence of health education about HIV/AIDS on knowledge (p-value 0.000) and attitudes (p-value 0.000) of women under the guidance of PSKW Andam Dewi. This research concludes that health education affects the knowledge and attitudes of the target women. For this reason, it is suggested that PSKW Andam Dewi continue to provide health education on HIV/AIDS on an ongoing basis using the lecture method with power point and video media.

Abstract

Disasters not only have an impact on health in general but also affect reproductive health Disasters caused obstructed access to reproductive health services, damaged health facilities, and limited access to contraception thereby increasing the number of unwanted pregnancies, increasing the risk of rape, sexual abuse, and exploitation, and the incidence of STIs and HIV will increase. West Sumatra is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is prone to disasters and is a high-risk area known as the red zone for disasters. The high Disaster Risk Index encourages the government to pay attention to disaster management and disaster preparedness. However, the issue of reproductive health services during emergencies is often neglected. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of disaster preparedness training on increasing knowledge about reproductive health kits in disaster emergency response. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. This study used a group that was given an intervention in the form of disaster preparedness training. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total of 58 respondents. Data processing using paired T-test. The average value before being given disaster preparedness training was 15.90 and after being given training it increased to 21.34, which means that there was an increase in the average knowledge score of 5.44 with a p-value = 0.000. It can be concluded that the effect of disaster preparedness training affects increasing knowledge about reproductive health kits in disaster emergency response.

Abstract

Mual muntah terjadi pada 60-80% primigravida dan 40-60% pada multigravida. Jika emesis tidak dicegah maka akan berlanjut menjadi hiperemesis. Penatalaksanaan mual dan muntah pada kehamilan tergantung pada beratnya gejala.Aromaterapi merupakan terapi komplementer yang aman dan dapat diberikan secara mandiri oleh bidan. Aromaterapi campuran ekstrak jahe dan lemon memyebabkan efek segar dan memblokir muntah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi campuran ekstrak jahe (Zingiber Officinale) dan lemon (Citrus Limon) terhadap penurunan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester I.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-experiment dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan mulai bulan April-Mei 2020.Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester I yang ada diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Pauh Kota Padang pada bulan Maret 2020 sebanyak 86 orang, dengan rumus pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Roscoe, jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 10 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara, diolah secara manual dan komputerisasi serta dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata emesis gravidarum sebelum perlakuan adalah 6,9 dan rata-rata emesis gravidarum setelah perlakuan adalah 3,1. Ada pengaruh aromaterapi ekstrak jahe dan lemon terhadap penurunan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester I (p value=0,000).Simpulan Penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh aromaterapi ekstrak jahe dan lemon terhadap pengurangan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester I di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pauh padang tahun 2020. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini bisa dijadikan sebagai alternatif bagi ibu hamil trimester I untuk mengurangi mual muntah yang dialaminya dan tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan terapi non farmakologik untuk mengurangi emesis gravidarum. Kata Kunci : Emesis Gravidarum, Aromaterapi, Jahe, lemon

Abstract

This study aims to analyze inclusive learning adaptation strategies with a focus on the cognitive and social-emotional development of students with special needs and gifted students at the secondary school level. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method, this study integrates findings from various literature sources published between 2018-2024, accessed through trusted academic databases. Data analysis uses a qualitative metasynthesis approach with validation through source triangulation and peer debriefing. The results of the study indicate that effective inclusive learning adaptation strategies require a holistic approach including: (1) individual needs-based learning differentiation, (2) comprehensive support systems, (3) collaboration of teaching teams and parental involvement, (4) assistive technology and curriculum modifications, and (5) ongoing professional development. These findings provide practical implications for the development of inclusive learning programs that accommodate the diversity of students' learning needs.

Abstract

Masalah yang sering terjadi selama proses persalinan adalah nyeri. Data menunjukkan dari 2700 ibu bersalin, 20% diantaranya dengan nyeri sangat hebat, 30% diantaranya dengan nyeri hebat, 35 % diantaranya denggan nyer sedang, dan hanya 15% dengan nyeri ringan. Manajemen nyeri persalinan dapat ditatalaksana secara farmakologi maupun non-farmakologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan quasi-experiment dengan non-equivalent control group pretes-post test. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 14 responden pada masing-masing kelompok. Uji statistik wilcoxon didapatan p-value 0.000 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri  ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di RSUD Solok Selatan. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan pelayanan asuhan sayang ibu dengan manajemen pengurangan rasa nyeri pada saat ibu bersalin.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the complementary relationship between Guidance and Counseling (BK) services and subject learning in the context of the educational ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study method, this study analyzes various theories, previous research results, and relevant integration models. The results of the study indicate that synergy between BK teachers and subject teachers can improve the quality of learning and overall student well-being. This synergy is evident in the collaboration of learning planning, mentoring problematic students, and strengthening character in the learning process. However, role differentiation is still needed to avoid overlapping functions. BK teachers remain focused on the psychosocial and self-development aspects of students, while subject teachers on the academic aspects. This study also identifies an effective collaboration-based integration model, namely through a whole-school approach that unites various educational functions. The implications of this study are the need for cross-professional training and school policies that support structural synergy and role differentiation to create holistic and sustainable education.

Abstract

Kompetensi lulusan seorang bidan berkaitan dengan kompetensi yang diperoleh pada saat masa pendidikan. Pembelajaran klinik merupakan kebutuhan utama dalam membentuk lulusan karena praktik klinik dapat merepresentasikan gambaran nyata dalam memberikan pelayanan. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan instruktur klinik tentang preseptor mentor di Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang. Jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian menggunakan intervensi berupa pelatihan preseptor mentor dengan metode simulasi dan roleplay. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jurusan Kebidanan Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah instruktur klinik (CI) puskesmas dan rumah sakit dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t test berpasangan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dengan nilai rata-rata sebelum 20,8 menjadi 27,7 setelah diberikan pelatihan dengan nilai p sebesar 0,0000. Ada pengaruh pelatihan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan instruktur klinik tentang preceptor mentor di Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang. Institusi diharapkan dapat melaksanakan pelatihan ini secara berkala kepada semua instruktur klinik yang digunakan sebagai lahan praktik mahasiswa.
