Abstract

This study aims to examine Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's philosophy of Islam and its implications for Islamic education. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, through searching and critically analyzing various relevant literature, both in the form of books, scientific journal articles, and e-books that discuss Abu Zayd's thoughts, Qur'anic hermeneutics, and contemporary Islamic education philosophy. The results of the study show that Abu Zayd views the Qur'an as a text and discourse that is understood through the relationship between text, context, and interpreter, so that religious interpretation is dynamic and open. This perspective gave birth to the concept of Islamic education that is humanist, rational, dialogical, and emphasizes freedom of thought and critical awareness. This study concludes that Abu Zayd's thoughts are relevant for the development of contextual and responsive Islamic education to modern social challenges, although it still faces theological and institutional challenges in its implementation.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of e-learning learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects by highlighting its advantages, challenges, and impacts in the learning process. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a literature analysis approach and empirical observation of the implementation of e-learning in the educational environment. The results show that e-learning in PAI learning has several advantages, such as flexibility of time and place, increased accessibility of learning resources, and a variety of more interactive learning media. However, there are challenges faced, such as limited technological infrastructure, digital gaps among students, and the need to improve teacher competence in managing digital-based learning. The impact of implementing e-learning in PAI includes increasing student learning motivation, the effectiveness of material delivery, and changes in interaction patterns between teachers and students. This study recommends strengthening technology infrastructure and training for educators to optimize the implementation of e-learning in PAI learning.
