Abstract

Improving the quality of learning should be implemented in an integrated, systematic, and continuous. One way is through the medium of drawing. Media images provide the understanding, learning and mastery of language skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the extent to which the use of media images can improve the students’ vocabulary TK B Bahrul Ulum Lamongan. This research is a class act with two cycles. The initial condition (pre-action) showed that students who self 0 %, capable of without the help of teachers by 10 %, was able to help a great teacher of 10 %, was able to help a great teacher of 10 %, was able to help teachers 65 % and 25% can not afford. In cycle I, the results obtained are independent students 10 %, capable of without the help of teachers by 20 %, was able to help teachers 70 % and that is not capable of 0 %. While on cycle II, the results obtained are independent student 30 %, capable of without the help of teachers by 50 % able to help teachers 20 % and not capable of 0 %. This suggests that an increase in students’ vocabulary TK B Bahrul Ulum Lamongan using media images.

Abstract

This quantitative-descriptive research describes knowledge level of Early Childhood Education teachers about 2013 curriculum in whole Pademawu kindergartens, Pamekasan regency. Requirement analysis tests use kolomogorov-smirnov normality test. The sample is taken by nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling, involving 73 Early Childhood Education teachers. Technique of collecting data are objective test in the form of true or false (T-F), interview, and documentation. Based on analysis, H0 is denied and Ha is accepted in hypothesis test. Based on the findings, the knowledge level about 2013 curriculum in whole Pademawu kindergarten, Pamekasan is well, 87.71%. Finding on remembering factor (C1) showed most of them were categorized well, 94.38%; understanding (C2) categorized well, 85.57%; and applying (C3) categorized well, 70.37%. It can be concluded the knowledge level of the teachers about 2013 curriculum is well.

Abstract

Matematika adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang tidak mudah bagi kebanyakan siswa. Matematika merupakan salah satu bidang studi yang sering dikeluhkan sebagai bidang studi yang sulit dan membosankan karena kebanyakan matematika diajarkan dengan metode yang tidak menarik. Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan agar siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran adalah model Treffinger. Model ini dapat memenuhi pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa. Model Treffinger ini terdiri dari tiga langkah inti, yaitu: basic tools, practice with process, dan working with real problems. Pada setiap langkah dalam model Treffinger ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kreativitas siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah, mengarahkan siswa untuk berpikir logis tentang hubungan antar konsep dan situasi dalam permasalahan dan menghargai keragaman berpikir yang timbul selama proses pemecahan masalah berlangsung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran math character untuk membangun karakter Anak Usia Dini (AUD) dan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran math character. Target penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya karakter anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran math character. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan informasi penelitian ini dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran math character dapat membangun delapan belas nilai-nilai karakter AUD. Kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami guru dalam pembentukan karakter AUD melalui pembelajaran math character meliputi tema yang digunakan termasuk tema baru, siswa belum terbiasa dengan pembelajaran berbasis sentra, usia siswa bervariasi, dan adanya ikut campur wali siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas sehingga siswa menjadi kurang mandiri.

Abstract

Menurut STPPA (Standar Tingkat Pencapaian Perkembangan Anak), perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun diantaranya anak sudah bisa menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi, mengendalikan diri secara wajar, tahu akan haknya, mampu mengatur diri sendiri dan bertanggungjawab atas perilakunya, menaati aturan kelas, bermain dengan teman sebaya dan bersikap kooperatif, toleran, sopan serta dapat menyelesaikan masalah. Namun di sekolah, terdapat anak yang menunjukkan perkembangan sosial-emosionalnya terhambat seperti tidak dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi dan aturan yang ada, sering berkonflik dengan teman sebaya serta kurang dapat memiliki penyelesaian masalah dengan baik. Hal itu disertai pula dengan perilaku agresi fisik yaitu perilaku yang merugikan orang lain dengan merusak benda atau melukai orang karena perasaan frustasi, gagal maupun kecewa yang bersumber dari insting dan lingkungan sosial. Jika dibiarkan berlarut, dapat berdampak pada terhambatnya perkembangan anak terutama secara sosial-emosional, anak sering merasa down, dianggap menjadi trouble maker, dikucilkan dan anti sosial. Selain itu, berdampak pula pada kondisi kelas dan sekolah yang kurang kondusif sehingga membuat anak lain tidak nyaman. Salah satu bentuk penanganan yang dapat diterapkan yaitu dengan teori kognitif sosial Bandura menggunakan observational learning melalui cara memperhatikan model dengan mempertimbangkan faktor anak, perilaku dan lingkungan sebelum penanganan dilakukan. Kata kunci: anak usia 5-6 tahun, agresifitas fisik, teori kognitif sosial Bandura

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes at MTsN 3 Malang after the group investigation type cooperative learning model was applied. This study is a quantitative approach study. The population in this study were all students of class VII in MTsN 3 Malang as many as five classes, but as samples taken two classes, namely class VII/B as many as 20 students as the control class and class VII/E as many as 20 students as the experimental class. Meanwhile, data collection on the ability of students' mathematics learning outcomes using an instrument in the form of a test. The data processing used one-party t-test statistics. The findings reveal that by applying the group investigation (GI) type cooperative learning model, it can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of MTsN 3 Malang students, rather than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who are taught using the STAD learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attachment of children in the family of female workers in father’s parenting style, social interaction of children with mothers, and attachment of children to mothers. This research wan conducted in the village of sumbersari, Udanawu District, Blitar Regency. East Java. It is consisting of two families which were used as research, there are 4 informants (2 fathers and 2 relatives) and 2 boys. This study used a qualitative approach, with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research used data analysis procedure of Miles and Hubermen. The results explain that the form of parenting given by the father to the child according to the stage of child development. The attachment of children to women in the status of female workers showed a difference between the two subjects. The first subjects had attachment to the mother, while the second subject lacked attachment to the mother. The social interaction between mother and child also goes well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kegiatan Student Led Conference (SLC) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita anak di TK Muslimat NU 03 Assa'adah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus instrumental. Studi kasus ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat SLC, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SLC dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, motivasi belajar, dan kemampuan bercerita anak. Namun, pelaksanaan SLC juga dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti kehadiran orang tua, kemampuan guru, dan ketersediaan sumber daya.

Abstract

Assessment activities are carried out to determine the achievement of child development. Assessment activities involve teachers and parents. This study examines parental involvement in assessments by the principles of assessment, namely parents as a source of assessment information and as listeners. This study involved 81 parents with early childhood children attending the Penggerak Kindergarten institution in Bangkalan District. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that parents tend to be able to carry out their roles by one of the principles of assessment, namely as a source of information by providing information about the strengths and weaknesses of children and parents can be listeners to information on child development delivered by teachers. This study provides new insights into the role of parents in early childhood development assessments. This study contributes to education to be able to involve parents not only in learning activities but also in child development assessments.

Abstract

The development of augmented reality (AR) based flashcard media "Oreng Madureh" has the potential to become an effective and interesting educational and cultural promotion tool with a combination of AR and Madurese culture. This research aims to develop learning media using AR-based flashcard media on introductory Madurese culture material which includes an introduction to traditional clothing, typical food and Madurese traditional houses. This development research uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection used observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation techniques for 50 children aged 4-6 years in 4 trial stages, namely material expert trials, learning media experts, small group and large group field trials. The data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively with material expert questionnaire trial results of 91.07%, learning media expert trial results of 92.64% with very feasible criteria, no need for revision, small group trial results of 87.14% and the results of the large group trial were 84.89% in the high category. These results indicate that this media is suitable for use in the learning process. The development of this media has the implication of being able to attract children to understand and appreciate the cultural diversity around them through interactive learning activities, as well as developing children's fine motor and cognitive skills.
