Today the business is very important imaging in the presence of Islamic educational institutions, this is due to the more important and urgent to establish the image of Islamic educational institutions in response to his role in educating generations of the nation, especially in the framework of the unitary republik of Indonesia. Abstract

This article discusses how Islamic educational institutions can exist in the era of fast-paced change. No doubt the challenge of Islamic education is very complex, one of which is a change. The main factor in the change is the advancement of information and communication technology, competition amonginstitutions, and the demands of society. In facing changes very vital leadership role, he should be able to influence and mobilize all the components to continue to work in facing the swift currents of change. Unity of direction and the interconnections between components (educators, employees, and students) in Islamic educational institutions should be maintained, so that all the elements in the institution become solid and strong. In addition, the leaders should also keep the consistency of a system that exists in Islamic educational institutions. A strong system will generate a strong culture that characterizes Islamic educational institutions in the implementation process of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe in depth the motivation of TPQ teachers in teaching the Qur'an which is associated with the theory of needs developed by Maslow at TPQ Miftahul Jannah Kalangan Ngunut Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative approach and this type of research is a case study. This study’s data sources were the head of the TPQ, students, and teachers. This study uses several methods in collecting data, namely: the participatory observation method, in-depth interview method, and documentation method. The results of the study stated that TPQ teachers thought that teaching the Qur'an was part of worship, teaching the Qur'an was following the orders of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, teaching the Qur'an was a practice that would never lose its reward, and teaching the Qur'an to children is part of the fun (entertainment). TPQ teachers in teaching the Qur'an are not based on the fulfillment of physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and actualization needs but are based on the main intention, namely to worship Allah SWT.

Abstract

Science development of modern knowledge brings a significant impact on Islamic education. On one side, must capably compete with the education public who have together high and on the other hand, not let go of existence as a moral basis. Therefore, this research seeks to uncover effort enhancement together as well as a strategy for creating interest Public through multi-site research in two institutions of Islamic education. Using qualitative data excavated description through technique Interview deep, observation participatory and documentation to prayer institution namely MTs Darul Hikmah Tulungagung and MTs Mamba'ul Ulum Tulungagung. Informant look for sources from the head of the madrasa, Deputy Head of Public Relations, Deputy Head of Guarantee quality, teachers, and guardians of students. The result of this research shows that strategy in attracting community interest held at MTs Darul Hikmah Tulungagung and MTs Mamba'ul Ulum Tulungagung is implementing system total quality management, where the second institution by sustainable increase together power educators, facilities and infrastructure, management education, learning process, competence graduate, evaluation education and financing. To increase public interest, MTs Darul Hikmah Tulungagung and MTs Mamba'ul Ulum Tulungagung publish some self image through social media and mass media. This publication aims to know the public thought about the existence of a madrasa. Efforts to build the quality of the institution on an ongoing basis have implications for the increasing number of new student applicants every year.

Abstract

AbstrakKey word : Islam, belajar, pendidikan. Dalam Islam  terdapat anjuran yang menegaskan bahwa belajar  merupakan sebuah kewajiban bagi laki-laki dan perempuan. Aktivitas belajar adalah untuk memperoleh keberhasilan dalam pengembangan potensi dan bakat seseorang. Belajar merupakan perubahan perilaku sebagai hasil dari pengalaman dari proses pembelajaran dengan serangkaian aktivitas misalnya: membaca, mencoba sesuatu, mengikuti arah tertentu, mengamati, mendengarkan, meniru dan lain sebagainya (aktivitas ruhani-jasmani) menuju perkembangan pribadi yang utuh. Siswa yang sedang dalam proses belajar wajib hukumnya mempunyai niat yang luhur dalam dirinya, yaitu bahwa belajar merupakan salah satu bagian dari ibadah yang bertujuan mencari ridha Allah SWT, mendapat kebahagiaan akhirat, memerangi kebodohan, dan meningkatkan peradaban bagi masyarakat. Di lembaga Pendidikan Islam  tentu belajar perlu diberdayakan agar peserta didik menjadi sosok pembelajar mandiri, ada beberapa strategi memberdayakan belajar diantaranya; dilaksanakan kegiatan diskusi setiap hari, mengadakan program menulis setiap hari, diadakan lomba setiap hari, melaksanakan praktek setiap hari, diadakan sistem perpustakaan keliling, melatih penelitian sederhana, dan mengadakan studi banding. Dengan pemberdayaan belajar yang intensif maka pendidikan Islam akan menghasilkan lulusan-lulusan mandiri dan tangguh sebagai penopang kemajuan Islam.

Abstract

Fostering the quality and professionalism of teachers is the responsibility and obligation of the madrasah principal (supervisor) as madrasah leader. Therefore, there is a lot of work that must be done by the head of madrasah in developing teacher competence, including the head of madrasah should supervise teachers by monitoring and evaluating teacher performance so that educational goals can be met according to what is planned. The function of the head of madrasah as supervisor is very important considering that the head of the madrasah is fully responsible for the quality of madrasah learning.This research is a type of qualitative field research research. The type of research used is a case study, which is a research conducted intensively, in detail and in depth on a particular organization, institution or phenomenon. In this study, researchers conducted research at MI Miftahul Huda, having its address at Tulungagung Regency, East Java. To obtain the required data, several methods were used, namely; interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stages in this study are as follows: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Based on the data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation, the researcher suggests several research results, namely; 1) The implementation of academic supervision at MI Miftahul Huda related to professional and pedagogical competence of teachers by the head of the madrasah is by cross-checking in the field and by regularly checking the learning tools of all teachers at the beginning of the year, such as lesson plans, syllabus, annual programs, semester programs, etc. 2) As for social competence, the head of the madrasah delivers to teachers in meetings and daily interactions in order to respect parents and guardians of students, all criticism of suggestions is accommodated and acted upon, maintaining good Javanese interaction. 3) And for the personality competence of the principal of the madrasah stick the teacher's code of ethics in the form of a banner in the teacher's room. 4)Academic supervision used at MI Miftahul Huda is a clinical supervision model.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis kebijakan tentang Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) di Indonesia dan kaitannya dengan konsep Temporary Employee. Sebuah skema kepegawaian yang dirancang untuk memperkuat profesionalisme dan efisiensi dalam pelayanan publik. Tujuan dari kebijakan ini adalah memberikan peluang bagi tenaga honorer dan profesional lainnya untuk diangkat menjadi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) tetapi dengan status kontrak. Melalui kajian pustaka yang mendalam, peneliti mengeksplorasi berbagai aspek kebijakan PPPK yang meliputi landasan hukum, perekrutan dan pemberhentian, hak dan kewajiban, serta relevansi antara kebijakan PPPK dengan konsep temporary employee. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebijakan PPPK berpotensi untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas dan mengisi kebutuhan tenaga profesional di sektor publik, masih terdapat berbagai tantangan, seperti mekanisme seleksi yang kompetitif, keterbatasan anggaran daerah, serta ketidakpastian mengenai masa kontrak dan hak-hak pegawai. Akan tetapi, tidak bisa dipungkiri juga bahwa kebijakan tentang PPPK dapat menjadi solusi strategis bagi pengembangan SDM aparatur di Indonesia jika diimplementasikan dengan baik dan mempertimbangkan aspek keberlanjutan serta kesejahteraan pegawai.

Abstract

The advancement of modern science has had a considerable impact on Islamic education, necessitating a shift in focus from its traditional role as a moral foundation to one of competition with public education. This research project examines strategies for enhancing the quality of Islamic education and attracting public interest. It employs a multi-site study of two Islamic educational institutions: The two Islamic educational institutions under consideration are MTs Darul Hikmah Tulungagung and MTs Mamba’ul Ulum Tulungagung. A qualitative approach was employed to collect data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Informants included school heads, deputies, teachers, and student guardians. The findings indicate that both institutions implement total quality management strategies, with a particular focus on enhancing the competence of educators, improving facilities, optimising educational management, refining learning processes, developing graduate competencies, enhancing evaluations, and securing adequate funding. Furthermore, they proactively disseminate information about their institution through social and mass media in order to influence public perception. The aforementioned continuous quality improvement efforts have resulted in a notable increase in the number of student applicants on an annual basis, thereby demonstrating the efficacy of the strategies employed in enhancing the institution’s appeal and competitiveness.

Abstract

Sukosewu Village has great economic potential in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, one of which is a group of traditional chips artisans who produce a variety of chips from local raw materials, such as Lompong, Eggplant, Bitter Gourd, Taro, Ontong (Banana heart), Gadung, Cassava, Yam, Eel, Spinach, Kenikir, Mushroom, Green Bean and Gambas and others. However, traditional chip MSMEs in the village face obstacles in developing their businesses such as limited knowledge and skills of group members in business management, product marketing, and attractive and hygienic packaging. This condition makes local chip products still unable to compete with similar products from other regions. This community service aims to provide assistance in the form of product packaging training and e-commerce socialization to traditional chip MSME groups in improving the competitiveness of their local products using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The ABCD method was chosen because it focuses on the potential and strengths that the community already has to be developed, not on the shortcomings that need to be corrected. The mentoring program was implemented through several stages: 1) community asset mapping, 2) group capacity building, 3) marketing strategy development, and 4) ongoing evaluation. The results of the service showed a significant improvement in several aspects: more standardized production capabilities, more attractive product packaging, and expansion of marketing networks, and increased sales turnover. The MSME players also showed increased confidence in managing and developing their businesses. This program proves that an asset-based approach is effective in empowering MSME communities to optimize their potential to increase the competitiveness of local products in the wider market..
