Abstract

AbstractFinal semester students transitioning from education to the workforce face various challenging aspects of life, leading to high levels of stress that negatively impact their psychological well-being. Psychological well-being is understood as a condition in which individuals are free from psychological pressure. The aim of this research is to examine whether there is a relationship between self-concept and social support with psychological well-being among final semester students, both partially and simultaneously. The study population consists of final semester students from the psychology faculty at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, with a total of 312 respondents. The approach used is a correlational quantitative approach employing three measurement tools: Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale, Self Concept Scale, and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between self-concept and social support with psychological well-being among final semester students. Specifically, the self-concept variable shows a significant positive relationship with psychological well-being, while the social support variable also exhibits a significant positive relationship with psychological well-being.Keywords: social support, self-adjustment, psychological well-being, final semester students.AbstrakMahasiswa semester akhir yang mengalami transisi dari dunia pendidikan ke dunia pekerjaan melalui berbagai aspek kehidupan yang menantang mengalami tingkat stres tinggi yang berdampak negatif pada psychological well-beingnya. Psychological well-being dimaknai sebagai kondisi dimana individu terbebas dari tekanan psikologis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji apakah ada hubungan antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial dengan psychological well- being pada mahasiswa semester akhir, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester akhir fakultas psikologi di Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, dengan jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 312 mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) alat ukur, yaitu Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale, Self Concept Scale, dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support Scale. Hasil penelitian secara simultan menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan variabel konsep diri dan dukungan sosial dengan psychological well-being pada mahasiswa akhir. Secara parsial variabel konsep diri dengan psychological well-being menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dengan arah yang positif dan variabel dukungan sosial dengan psychological well-being menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dengan arah yang positif.Kata kunci: dukungan social, Konsep diri, psychological well-being, mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between job stress and resilience with work engagement in teachers at the Attarbiyah Surabaya College Foundation. This research is a type of quantitative research using multiple regression analysis research. The subjects in this study were 123 teachers at the Attarbiyah Surabaya College Foundation. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results obtained simultaneously show a coefficient of 18,313 with a significance of 0.000 <0.01, which means that there is a positive relationship between job stress and resilience with work engagement. The results obtained in partial regression of work stress with work engagement show a coefficient of -2.178 with a significance of 0.031 <0.05 which means that the lower the work stress, the higher the work engagement, in partial regression between resilience and work engagement shows a coefficient of 4.757 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 which meansthat the higher the resilience, the higher the work engagement.Keywords: Work stress, Resilience, Work Engagement, Attarbiyah College FoundationAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stress kerja dan resiliensi dengan work engagement pada guru di Yayasan perguruan Attarbiyah Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian analisis regresi berganda . Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 123 Guru di Yayasan perguruan Attarbiyah Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner meggunakan skala likert. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh secara simultan menunjukkan koefiesien 18.313 dengan signifikansi 0.000 <0.01 yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif antara stres kerja dan resiliensi dengan work engagement. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh secara regresi parsial stress kerja dengan work engagement menunjukkan koefisien -2.178 dengan signifikansi 0.031 < 0.05 yang artinya rendah stress kerja maka semakin tinggi work engagement, secara regresi parsial antara resiliensi dengan work engagement menunjukkan koefisien 4.757 dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 yang artinya semakin tinggi resiliensi maka semakin tinggi juga work engagement.Kata kunci: Stres kerja, Resiliensi, Work Engagement, Yayasan Perguruan Attarbiyah

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between organizational citizenship behavior with work-life balance and perceived organizational support in married employees at Apartment. X. This analysis independent variable work-life balance and perceived organizational support with dependent variable organizational citizenship behavior. This research is a type of quantitative research using the correlational method. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling method where the subjects were taken from the entire population of 86 respondents of Apartment employees. X employees who are married. The results of this study indicate that the first hypothesis is accepted, work-life balance and perceived organizational support have a positive relationship with organizational citizenship behavior. The second hypothesis is also accepted which shows that there is a positive relationship between work-life balance and organizational citizenship behavior. Hipotesis kedua juga diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara work-life balance dengan organizational citizenship behavior. Abstract

AbstractCompanies currently are facing the challenge of improving organizational performance through more proactive employee behaviors, such as Organizational Citizenship Behavior, which not only depends on the achievement of primary tasks but also on additional contributions that benefit the organization. Several factors are believed to influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior, such as Work Life Balance and Self Efficacy. However, the relationship between these three factors has not been extensively explored, particularly within the context of organizations in Indonesia. Organizational Citizenship Behavior is one form of voluntary behavior that is highly beneficial to companies. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from employees as respondents. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between Work Life Balance and Self Efficacy with Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Employees with a high level of Work Life Balance tend to have higher Self Efficacy, which in turn increases the likelihood of exhibiting Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that both Work Life Balance and Self Efficacy have a strong positive relationship with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (R = 0.694, p < 0.05). Overall, this study suggests that companies should maintain a positive work environment to ensure that levels of Work Life Balance, Self Efficacy, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior among employees remain high.Keywords: Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Self Efficacy, Work Life BalanceAbstrakPerusahaan saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui perilaku yang lebih proaktif dari karyawan, seperti Organizational Citizenship Behavior, yang tidak hanya bergantung pada pencapaian tugas utama, tetapi juga kontribusi tambahan yang bermanfaat bagi organisasi. Beberapa faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi Organizational Citizenship Behavior adalah Work Life Balance serta Self Efficacy. Namun, hubungan antara ketiga faktor ini belum banyak dieksplorasi secara mendalam, khususnya dalam konteks organisasi di Indonesia. Organizational Citizenship Behavior merupakan salah satu bentuk perilaku sukarela yang sangat menguntungkan bagi perusahaan. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari responden yang merupakan karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara Work Life Balance dan Self Efficacy dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Karyawan dengan Work Life Balance yang tinggi cenderung memiliki Self Efficacy yang lebih tinggi pula, sehingga meningkatkan kecenderungan munculnya perilaku Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Work Life Balance dan Self Efficacy memiliki hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (R = 0,694, p < 0,05). Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyarankan agar perusahaan dapat mempertahankan lingkungan kerja yang positif agar tingkat Work Life Balance, Self Efficacy, dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior pada kalangan pekerja tetap tinggi.Kata kunci: Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Self Efficacy, Work Life Balance

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the relationship between relationship transformasional leadership, resilience, and burnout. Burnout is often a problem for workers. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from workers who work. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and resilience and Burnout. Workers with high levels of transformational leadership tend to have high resilience, thereby reducing the tendency to burnout. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that transformational leadership and resilience have a significant negative relationship with Burnout workers (R = 0.945, p < 0.05). These findings are expected to provide insight for the development of intervention programs aimed at increasing transformational leadership and resilience and reducing burnout in workers.Keywords: Burnout, Resilience, Transformational LeadershipAbstrakPerusahaan saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam kinerja organisasi melalui perilaku yang lebih proaktif dari karyawan, seperti kepemimpinan transformasional, tetapi juga juga kontribusi tambahan yang bermanfaat bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa adanya hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, resiliensi, dan burnout pada pekerja MyRepublic Surabaya. Burnout sering kali menjadi masalah bagi pekerja. Setelah melakukan hasil uji mean empirik dan mean hipotetik, terbukti bahwa banyak pekerja MyRepublic yang mengalami burnout. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari pekerja . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan resiliensi dengan burnout. Pekerja dengan kepemimpinan transformasional yang tinggi cenderung memiliki resiliensi yang tinggi, sehingga mengurangi kecenderungan burnout. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan resiliensi memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan Burnout pada pekerja (R = 0,945 p < 0,05). Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan program intervensi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepemimpinan transformasional dan resiliensi serta mengurangi burnout pada pekerja.Kata kunci: Burnout, Resiliensi, Kepemimpinan Transformasional

Abstract

Abstract Social media addiction is a condition where individuals are unable to control intensive and excessive use of social media, which can trigger psychological and social disorders (Kootesh et al., 2016). Social media addiction can be influenced by several factors, one of which is self-control (Muna & Astuti, 2014). Fear of missing out is another factor that influences social media addiction (Fathadika & Afriani, 2018). This research design uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. The sample consisted of 92 students from the Faculty of Psychology, University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The regression results show that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between self-control and fear of missing out with the tendency to become addicted to social media in adolescents.   Keywords: Tendencies, Addiction, Self-Control, Fear of Missing Out, Social Media.   Abstrak Kecanduan media sosial merupakan kondisi di mana individu tidak mampu mengendalikan penggunaan media sosial secara intensif dan berlebihan, yang dapat memicu gangguan psikologis dan sosial (Kootesh et al., 2016). Kecanduan media sosial dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah self control (Muna & Astuti, 2014). Fear of missing out merupakan faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kecanduan media sosial (Fathadika & Afriani, 2018). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi linier berganda. Sampel berjumlah 92 Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Abstract

Background: The agro-industry sector requires a selection process that ensures alignment between candidates’ psychological characteristics and the complex demands of the job, particularly for the position of Regional Sales Coordinator (KPD), which requires strong analytical ability, interpersonal competence, work endurance, and achievement motivation. Objective: This study aims to describe the implementation of psychological assessment in selecting candidates for the KPD position, evaluate the relevance of assessment results to the required job competencies, and identify the implications of these results for employee placement decisions. Method: Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through psychological tests (IST, Kraeplin, Papikostik, 16PF, and projective tests), behavioral event interviews, interviews with HR and user representatives, and direct observation. Thematic analysis and triangulation were conducted to ensure the consistency and validity of interpretations. Result: The findings indicate that the candidate demonstrates good analytical ability and emotional stability but shows weaknesses in numerical ability, work pace, achievement motivation, interpersonal skills, and independent decision-making—core competencies required for the KPD role. Conclusion: The results suggest a mismatch between the candidate’s psychological profile and the demands of the position. The study concludes that multi-method psychological assessment provides a more accurate understanding of person–job fit and plays an essential role in selection decisions and competency development recommendations within the agro-industry sector.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the psychological conditions of employees related to career stagnation and work fatigue in the context of the intention to leave the job. The purpose of this research os to determine whether career plateau and burnout contribute to triggering turnover intention among employees. This study employeed a quantitative correlational design involing 169 employees of a private bank in Surabaya. The instruments used were the career plateau scale, burnout scale, and turnover intention scale. Data were analysed using Spearman Rho correlation. The findings indicate that career plateau and burnout have a positive relationship with turnover intention. These results highlight the importance of organizational attention to career development and psychological well- being as a preventive effort against employees’ intention to resign. Abstract

Abstract Quiet quitting is a workplace phenomenon that describes employees who work only according to their formal job descriptions without emotional involvement or additional contributions. This phenomenon frequently occurs among Generation Z, who have high expectations for job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is believed to play a role in reducing the tendency toward quiet quitting. This study aims to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and quiet quitting among Generation Z employees. The research used a quantitative correlational method involving 113 Generation Z employees aged 18–28 years, selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used include a job satisfaction scale and a quiet quitting scale. The results show a significant negative correlation between job satisfaction and quiet quitting (r = -0.482, p < 0.01). This indicates that the higher the job satisfaction, the lower the tendency for quiet quitting among Generation Z employees. Fenomena ini kerap terjadi pada Generasi Z yang memiliki ekspektasi tinggi terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja diyakini berperan dalam mencegah kecenderungan quiet quitting. Penelitian ini tujuannya guna memahami hubungan diantara kepuasan kerja dan quiet quitting atas karyawan Generasi Z. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 113 responden karyawan Generasi Z dengan rentang umur 18-28 tahun. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang dipakai meliputi skala kepuasan kerja dan skala quiet quitting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan quiet quitting (r = -0,482, p<0,01). Abstract

Abstract Final-year students who are about to choose a career are not only required to make decisions, but also to consider them carefully so as not to have a negative impact on their future. This study aims to determine the reIationship between grit and parental support on career decision-making among finaI-year students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The subjects in this study consisted of 130 final-year students selected using purposive sampIing. The instruments used were the Grit Scale, the Parental Support Scale, and the Carer Decision-Making Scale. The data analysis technique employed was multipIe regression anaIysis. The resuIts of the study indicate a significant positive reIationship between grit and parentaI support in career decision making. Partially, only parental support had a significant influence, while grit did not show a significant influence. Hasil temuan menunjukan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara grit dan support orang tua dengan pengambiIan keputusan karir.
