Abstract

: Considering on the Indonesian Teacher and Lecturer Act, every Indonesian teacher needs to have a teacher certification. Indeed, it is a good opportunity as well as a challenge for every university, the which is conducting teacher training program, to have qualified graduates. As a qualified teacher, he must have four competencies concerning pedagogy, attitude, personal, and social. The question that may Arise is "How to have such competencies?" Of course, many ways can be done. However, improving the quality of teaching practicum is one of the many possibilities that can be considered. Integrated Student Community Service - Teaching Practicum (KKN-PPL) the which is combining community service and teaching practicum program itself has been developed by Yogyakarta State University (UNY) to have a better models of such teaching practicum.

Abstract

The importance of teacher professionalism in teaching serves as a benchmark for the Madrasah Head, who plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher professionalism. This study aims to assess the level of teacher professionalism in teaching at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muttaqiin, describe the efforts made by the Madrasah Head in improving teacher professionalism at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muttaqiin, and identify the factors that hinder and support the Madrasah Head's efforts in enhancing teacher professionalism at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muttaqiin. This qualitative research adopts a descriptive approach. The main subjects of this study are the Head of Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muttaqiin, with teachers and staff as informants. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification. A professional teacher is defined as one who possesses pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. The findings of this study are as follows: Teacher professionalism in teaching at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muttaqiin has improved due to the support of the Madrasah Head. The Madrasah Head conducts supervision and evaluation, discipline training, motivation, and recognition for teachers. Supporting factors for improving teacher morale include the Madrasah Head's attention to the material and spiritual needs of teachers. The inhibiting factors include the lack of teacher awareness regarding the importance of discipline in fulfilling teaching duties, both individually and collectively, at the Madrasah.

Abstract

Technological advancements require the education sector to continuously adapt, including in the development of learning media. The use of conventional and monotonous learning media causes students to lose enthusiasm, which in turn affects their level of understanding. The lack of students’ interest in history subjects and limited interaction between teachers and students serve as the background of this study. In addition, limited instructional time and students’ low interest in reading books make the development of innovative learning media highly relevant. Therefore, the researcher conducted a research and development study to develop Smartcard learning media to enhance students’ cognitive abilities in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject for Grade V at SD IT Al-Furqon Garu, Baron, Nganjuk. This study aims to examine: (1) the development of Smartcard learning media for the SKI subject on the topic of Khulafaur Rasyidin for Grade V students at SD IT Al-Furqon Garu, Baron, Nganjuk in the 2023/2024 academic year; (2) the validation of Smartcard learning media for the same subject and topic; and (3) the effectiveness of Smartcard learning media in improving students’ cognitive abilities. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The development model used in this study refers to the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. Data collection instruments included validation questionnaires administered to media experts and material experts, as well as pre-test and post-test instruments given to students to measure the effectiveness of the developed product. The data analysis technique used was quantitative analysis to assess the validity and effectiveness of the product. The result of this research and development is a learning medium called Smartcard Khulafaur Rasyidin, which contains SKI learning materials presented in the form of smart cards. Product validation by material and media experts obtained an overall average percentage score of 91%, indicating that the product is valid. Furthermore, the calculation of the N-gain score from the pre-test and post-test results yielded a value of 0.80 or 80.51%, indicating that the developed product falls into the “high” score category and demonstrates an “effective” level of effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teacher interaction patterns in Aqidah Akhlaq learning, Describe the direction/guidance of Islamic religious lessons for educators in communicating in learning Aqidah Akhlaq, To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher interaction in learning Aqidah Akhlaq. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the data obtained was carried out by means of interviews, interviews and documentation. The findings of this research show that the teacher's interaction pattern in learning aqidah akhlaq aims to introduce and familiarize students with learning material about aqidah akhlaq. The guidance of Islamic teachings for teachers is a teacher who has sincere motivation to teach, is sincere in applying his knowledge, and acts as a loving parent. There are several supporting factors. These supporting factors are learning materials that teachers can master, teaching and learning programs that can be managed well, being able to use learning tools/media and managing the class.

Abstract

Strategi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kreativitas serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pada siswa merupakan sebuah tanggung jawab utama dalam pendidikan. Disinilah peran guru sangat penting untuk menciptakan suatu pembelajaran yang menyenangkan melalui model pembelajaran, supaya pembelajaran tidak monoton dan siswa lebih mudah memahami materi yang disampaikan. Berdasarkan uraian permasalahan tersebut ditemukan bahwa pentingnya model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, salah satunya model pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu Project Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah pelaksanaan model Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Tematik, dan pengaruh model Project Based Learning terhadap kreativitas siswa kelas 2 pada mata pelajaran Tematik di MI Hayya Alal Falah. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data numerik yang dapat diolah dengan menggunakan metode statistik. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilaksanakan meliputi angket Project Based Learning dan angket kreativitas siswa. Pengujian validitas instrumen menggunakan koefisien korelasi dan pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Sedangkan uji analisis data menggunakan uji signifikansi korelasi. Hasil pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t, didapat thitung = 6,522. Kemudian dicari ttabel dengan dk = n-k-1, dk = 19-1-1 = 17 pada taraf signifikan 5% (0,05) maka dari table distribusi t di peroleh nilai ttabel = 2,110. Maka hasilnya 6,522 > 2,110 dengan demikian diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Project Based Learning mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

This study delves into the pivotal role of the learning process for students in determining educational success. Within the school environment, students encounter specific learning challenges, including difficulties in grasping instructional content provided by teachers. These challenges manifest in diverse behavioral ways, directly or indirectly affecting the overall learning environment. Consequently, effective strategies employed by teachers to address these challenges are paramount. Focusing on fourth-grade students at MI Islamiyah Jatipunggur Lengkong Nganjuk, this study investigates the factors contributing to student learning challenges in thematic lesson theme 8, explores teacher strategies to mitigate these difficulties, and identifies implementation obstacles. Employing qualitative methodology, data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. The data undergoes descriptive analysis, including reduction, presentation, and verification through triangulation. The findings unveil two primary factors contributing to learning challenges: internal and external. Teachers adeptly employ strategies encompassing expository, cooperative, and contextual approaches, along with providing additional instruction time for struggling students. Nonetheless, resource constraints, time allocation issues, and effective student grouping pose implementation challenges for these strategies.
