Abstract

This study aims to find out the four factors that because proteins can be denatured, Knowing the solubility of proteins, as well as Knowing the bond of peptides in proteins, the presence of free and aromatic amino. The method used in this study is qualitative research that is descriptive, with sampling techniques that use purposive sampling method. The results showed that observations of protein denaturation that aims to see the presence of deposits in milk and the results obtained that does not occur precipitation, deposition by metals as for the results obtained that is only raw egg whites that do not occur precipitation while for the other 3 samples occur precipitation. The results of the precipitation test by alcohol obtained that tubes 1 and 2 there are no deposits while for tube 3 there are deposits, protein solubility test is obtained that the sample 1,2,4 insoluble and there are deposits while for cheese samples are only insoluble. biuret test observations obtained the occurrence of discoloration in the sample. As for the Xanthoprotein test obtained results from the sample 1,2,4 there was a change in sediment and color while for samples 3 and 5 Only changes in sediment.

Abstract

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone produced by the placental tissue in early pregnancy. This hormone is excreted in the urine or when there is an abnormal proliferation of the chorionic epithelial tissue, such as moles or choriocarcinoma. The problem formulation in this study is that there is a match between the results of the HCG examination using the immunochromatographic method on three different brands at the Kabila Health Center, Bone Bolango District. This study aims to determine the suitability of the results of the HCG examination with the Immunochromatographic Method on three different brands. The method in this study used a quantitative approach. The type of data used was primary data in the form of research results and secondary data in the form of data from literature, books and documents. The sampling technique in this study used an accidental sampling technique with a sample of 30 people. From the research that has been conducted on 30 urine samples of pregnant women using three brands of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) kits, namely: 1) one med test. 2) medical sterile test. 3) the accurate strip; shows the results that there was no significant difference to the results of the suitability test of HCG using these three brands.

Abstract

This processing aims to extend shelf life as well as increase the uniformity of products and add economic value. The research method used in this study is quantitative research, which is then analyzed using a statistical test of unpaired T.S. The results of the study obtained the proximal content of papaya jam non-acidification protein 10.36%, fat 8.05%, carbohydrates 67.75%, ash 17.8%, water 58.44% while in jam acidification in the results of protein 20.96%, fat 3.836, carbohydrates 78.57%, ash 25.6% and water 55.05%. From the results of the statistical test T- unpaired that the value of probality (sig 2-tailed) with the test T is not paired is 0.367. Because the probality value is greater than 0.05, H0 is received or in the data processing of the two samples does not differ significantly.

Abstract

Examination of leukocyte count is a routine blood test that is widely requested in health care units, both clinics, health centers or even in hospitals. This study aims to establish the diagnosis of the disease. One laboratory examination, namely a hematological examination, to find out the comparison of leukocyte counts with the Hematology Analyzer and Hemocytometer methods at Toto Kabila Hospital, Bone Bolango Regency. The type of research used is Observational Analytic Research with a quantitative approach, analytical research is research that looks for relationships between variables, namely by analyzing comparisons. The sample size taken was 30 samples with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. This type of research wanted to see the results of a comparison of leukocyte counts using the hematology analyzer and hemocytometer methods at Toto Kabila Hospital, Bone Bolango Regency. The results obtained during this research areThe results of a comparison of leukocyte examination using a hematology analyzer and hemocytometer were obtained0.039 <0.05, where the null hypothesis (H0) means rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) means accepted, so it can be concluded that the data obtained is different.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Triglyceride (TG) levels in obese patients. The research is conducted in a descriptive quantitative approach. Primary data in the form of research findings on TG levels in obese patients and secondary data in the form of data from the literature, books, questionnaires, books, and medical records were used. Purposive sampling was used with a sample size of 30 participants. The results showed that of 30 obese patients, 27 (90%) had abnormal TG levels. While 3 persons (10%), had normal TG levels. The factors that had the greatest influence on the level of TG in obese patients were their physical features (body mass index/BMI) and dietary habits (number of calories). The study concluded that 90% of obese patients had normal triglyceride levels, while 10% had abnormal levels. Suggestions for obese people to manage and control their triglyceride levels on a regular basis, as well as engage in other activities that can help prevent obesity.
