Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran yang berdasarkan pada pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di SMPN 2 Singaraja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru merencanakan pendidikan karakter, 2) untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru menerapkan pendidikan karakter di dalam kelas, 3) untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru menilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk penelitian descriptive qualitative. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan menganalisis dokumen. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: peneliti itu sendiri, lembar observasi, panduan wawancara, alat perekam dan checklist. Subject dari penelitian ini adalah murid-murid kelas VIII-11 dan VIII-12 beserta guru bahasa Inggris di SMPN 2 Singaraja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam merencanakan pendidikan karakter di SMPN 2 Singaraja, guru menggunakan silabus sebagai panduan utama. Guru menggunakan keputusan pribadinya untuk menentukan nilai pendidikan apa yang akan dituangkan dalam rencana pembelajaran dikarenakan dalam silabus tidak dijelaskan secara jelas tentang nilai pendidikan karakter. Dalam menerepkan pendidikan karakter, guru hanya menggunakan fasilitas yang sudah disiapkan oleh sekolah. Disisi lain, dalam menilai pendidikan karakter, guru hanya menggunakan rubric penilaian afektif yang terdapat dalam rencana pembelajaran karena tidak ada panduan pasti mengenai hal tersebut. Kata Kunci : Pendidikan karakter, perencanaan, penerapan, penilaian. This study aimed at describing the character based instructional process in English language subject at SMPN 2 Singaraja. The purposes of this research were: 1) to know how the English teacher plan character education, 2) to know how English teacher implement character education at class, 3) to know how English teacher assess character education. This research was designed as a descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through observation, interview and document study. The instruments in this study were: the researcher itself, observation sheet, interview guide, recording tools and checklist. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII-11 and VIII-12 and English teacher at SMPN 2 Singaraja. The result of this study found that in planning character education at SMPN 2 Singaraja, the teacher used syllabus as the main reference. The teachers used his own decision on which values that might be relevant to be integrated in a lesson since the syllabus does not explicitly stated the values. In implementing character education, the teacher used available facilities provided by the school. Moreover, in assessing character education, the teacher only used affective assessment rubric on the lesson plan since there was no precise guidance about it. keyword : Character education, planning, implementing, assessing

Abstract

Training on jumping plantlice of citrus (Diaphorina citri Kuw) the vector of CVPD (Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration) has been held at Taro village, Gianyar regency on 30st July 2012. The activities aimed to know bioecology of D. citri, the vector of CVPD. The training was attended by 32 participants from local farmer groups of Taro village. The method used in activities were lectures, demontration and practical in the citrus field. All participants participited anthusiastically and hope the have the next intensive traning of the citrus culture.

Abstract

Efficacy of Insecticide (chlorpyrifos 540 g/l and sipermetrin 60 g/l) Against Population Development and Percentage of Damage of Leaf Roller Insect, Lamprosema indicata Fabricius (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) on Soybean Plant The research was conducted in order to know the population growth and percentage of damage of soybean leaf roller Lamprosema indicata Fabricius (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) treated with an insecticide with chlorpyrifos 540 g/l + sipermethrin 60 g/l active ingredient. The research was done in Temesi Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency starting from December 2016 until February 2017. This research used a Randomized Block Design with five (5) levels treatments and five (5) replications. The sampling technique was performed with diagonal pattern and each treatment was taken ten (10) sample of plants. The results showed that population development and percentage of damage of L. indicata influenced by insecticide with active ingredient chlorpyrifos 540 g/l + sipermetrin 60 g/l. The higher dosage was treated will be decreasing the population development and percentage of damage of L. indicata. The higher population and percentage of damage of L. indicata will be decreasing the production of soybean plant.

Interaction Pattern of Larvae Parasitoid Diadegma semiclausum Hellen (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) by Plutella xylostella L. (Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) on Cabbage Treated by Insecticide Emamectin Benzoate 5.7% The research Interaction Pattern of Larvae Parasitoid Diadegma semiclausum Hellen (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) withPlutella xylostella L. (Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) on Cabbage Treated by Insecticide Emamectin Benzoate 5.7% .The aims of this study is to know the interaction pattern, population and parasitization level of D. semiclausum which was treated by insecticide with the active ingredient is emamectin benzoat 5.7%. The design of this study is randomized block design (RBD)usingfivelevel of treatments (control, 0,25; 0,50; 0,75 and 1,00) and five replications. The result of this research showed the interaction pattern of parasitoid was not influenced by the treatment of insecticide. The population of parasitoid D. semicalusum was not significant difference between the treatment. Thepopulation of parasitoid in Buahan village and Kerta village were 5,40 and 4,80 respectively. The parasitizationrate in Buahan village and Kerta Village waere not signification effect between the treatment. The population of D. semiclausum in Kerta and Buahan Village

Abstract

Detection of CVPD (Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration) Disease Using PCR Technique of Citrus from Untalan Sub Village, Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency This research aims to know about presentation of CVPD disease on citrus plants and detect CVPD disease using PCR technique with specific primer called 16S rDNA. This research was conducted at Laboratory of Genetics Resource and Biology Moleculer, Udayana University. Result for visual monitoring of presentation in CVPD symptom in four locations is 25%, 37%, 27%, 19%, and the average is 27%. The result for average the presentation of CVPD symptom in the shoot of citrus in each locations is 7.9%, 15.73%, 8.9%, and 7.07%. The isolation of leaves citrus DNA were appeared on 1% agarose in electrophoresis showed DNA band. The result of DNA amplified that were appeared on 1% agarose in electrophoresis showed DNA bands 1160 bp. 3 samples from 4 with specific symptom of CVPD gave positive PCR reaction. DNA Bands 1160 bp is expression by Liberobacter asiaticum, than the sample from Untalan Sub Village were detected positive for the Liberobacter asiaticum and the samples were infected by CVPD disease.

Abstract

Population Structure of Pomacea sp. (Mesogastropoda: Ampullariidae) On Paddy Rice (Oryza sativa L.) At Altitude <500 Dan> 500 mdpl Tabanan Regency Research conducted from January 2018 until March 2018 in 2 different places that is in Blayu Village, Marga District and Puseh Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the population structure of Pomacea sp. on rice paddy at altitude <500 and> 500 mdpl Tabanan regency. The materials used in this research are rice plants and Pomacea sp. in the field. In this research use survey method to determine population structure of Pomacea sp. on wet rice paddies conducted in Blayu Village, Marga District and Puseh Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. Observation using absolute method of observation is done directly without using tools such as traps. Observations were made 2 times a week from rice age 1 week after planting until rice grains grow. Observations made in the morning. Observation of Pomacea sp. shows the following results: Population density P. canaliculata small phase, pre adult and adult at altitude < 500 mspl (0.043, 0.044, and 0.041 individual/m2) is higher than in height > 500 mdpl (0.035, 0.042, and 0.038 individuals/m2). At an altitude of <500 mdpl population of P. canaliculata age 1 - 15 HSM, 16 -25 HSM, and 26 - 3 years after the highest hatch occurred at age 28 HST ie 7.67 snails / are, 4.20 snails / , 40 snails / acre while at height> 500 mdpl population P. canaliculata age 1 - 15 HSM, 16 -25 HSM, and 26 - 3 years after the highest hatch occurred at age 31 HST ie 6.07 snails / are, 5, 00 snails / are and 3.93 snails / are. The distribution pattern of P. canaliculata at <500 and> 500 mdpl is clumped.

Abstract

Study on Effectivity of Attractant and Yellow Sticky Trap Fruit Flies on Citrus Orchards in Katung Village, Kintamani District, Regency of Bangli The research was carried out in Katung Village, Kintamani district, of Bangli Regency from periode of May until October 2016. This research was conducted in order to compare the effectivity of trap using Methyl Eugenol (Petrogenol) and using a glue with the trade name is Leila. This research was used a relative method by taking 20 samples of citrus plant. The observation was done every week from the beginning of fruiting until harvesting. The trap using Methyl Eugenol (Petrogenol) was found more effective compare to trap using a glue (Leila).

Abstract

Population Structure of Murbei Conch Pomacea spp. (Mesogastropoda: Ampullariidae) On Paddy Rice Field in Jembrana District of Bali Province The purpose of this study is to determine the population structure of mulberry snails. This research was carried out in October 2017 - March 2018. The method used in this study was a survey method with a diagonal model. Biological parameters are carried out by randomly taking egg groups and maintaining them in the Integrated Pest and Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. The results showed that the population density of P. canalicuta in the group of eggs and conch with a size (0.5-1cm), (> 1-2.5cm), (> 2.5-4cm) higher in Subak Pangyangan and lower in Subak Tegalwani. Distribution of P. canaliculata in Tegal Wani Subak and Pangyagan Subak has a groups pattern. The age structure of P. canaliculata in Subak Tegal Wani and Subak Pangyangan from egg groups aged 7-14 days, (0.5-1 cm) aged 15-25 days, (> 1 - 2.5 cm) aged 26-49 days, (> 2.5 - 4 cm) 50-60 days old. The highest peak of the population development of P. canalicuta in Subak Tegal Wani occurs at the age of the plant 8 weeks after planting, while the highest peak in Subak Pangyangan occurs at the age of the plant 6 weeks after planting.

Abstract

This aims of the research is to search the abudance of T. parvispinus Karny and its natural enemies on Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens.L). The research started from November 2020 to January 2021 at Melinggih Kelod Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency and at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. The study was conducted using a descriptive method by conducting a diagonal survey of 20 samples of cayenne pepper that were attacked by T. parvispinus. Observations were made by observing 10 leaves and 10 flowers of cayenne pepper plants. The results showed that the abundance of T. parvispinus in the vegetative and generative phases fluctuated where the highest population of T. parvispinus occurred in plants aged 10 week after transplanting with an average population of 15.8 individuals per plant then decreased in plants aged 11 WAT with an average population 9.75 individuals. The results showed that there were two types of predators that preyed on T. parvisvinus, namely Chrysoperla carnea with an average population of 23.3 and Coccinela transversalis with an average of 22.4 individuals. Laboratory reseach showed that the type of parasitoid that emerged from the 100 nymphs that were caught was Ceranisus spp with an average population of 10.2 individuals.

Abstract

Population Composition of Fruit Flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) And Parasitoids Associated with Mango Plants (Mangifera indica L.) in Several Regencies of Bali Province. This research aims to determine the types of fruit flies (Bactrocera spp.), parasitoids, abundance, percentage of damage and parasitization parasitoids of fruit flies in Badung Regency, Jembrana and Tabanan. The research was conducted purposively by taking fruits that have symptoms of fruit fly damage in the yard in Badung, Jembrana and Tabanan Regency. The research was conducted from September 2020 to February 2021. The results of study found 3 species of fruit flies that damaged mangoes in Badung, Jembrana and Tabanan Regencies, namely B. dorsalis (Hendel), B. carambolae (Drew & Hancock) and B. albistrigata (De Meijere). Two species of Bactrocera were found in Badung Regency, namely B. dorsalis (86.3%) and B. carambolae (13.7%). Jembrana Regency are B. dorsalis (82.03%), B. carambolae (15.7%) and B. albistrigata (2.9%). Tabanan Regency are B. dorsalis (80.84%) and B. carambolae (19.15%). Percentage of fruit fly damage in Tabanan Regency was 35.08%, Jembrana Regency was 33.56% and Badung Regency was 32.57%. Parasitoids found in Badung, Jembrana and Tabanan Regencies are Fopius arisanus and Diachasmimorpha longicaudata. Parasitization rate of parasitoids respectively in Tabanan Regency was 6.8%, Jembrana Regency was 5.9% and Badung Regency was 5.1%.
