Abstract

Salah satu kriteria keselamatan penumpang pada kendaraan adalah besarnya defleksi yang terjadi ketika terjadi frontal impact pada rangka kendaraan. Besarnya defleksi ini erat hubungannya dengan distribusi energi pada rangka utama kendaraan. Material komposit merupakan material yang ringan dan memiliki kemampuan penyerapan energi yang baik. Penggunaaan material ini dapat diterapkan pada rangka sepeda. Pengujian kekuatan struktur rangka sepeda diperlukan untuk menentukan tingkat keamanan dimana tingkat keamanan tersebut mengacu pada standar EN1481. Salah satu langkah uji struktur rangka dapat dilakukan dengan metode dropmass impact. Metode drop mass impact sesuai dengan standar EN1481 merupakan standar yang dikembangkan oleh Jerman untuk menguji kelayakan sepeda balap. Pada standar ini sepeda balap dikatakan layak jika saat dijatuhkan beban seberat 22.5 kg dari ketinggian 212 mm, deformasi permanen yang terjadi pada fork stainless steel tidak melebihi 15 mm dan frame sepeda tidak mengalami keretakan. Metode yang dipilih dalam melakukan pengujian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode numerik FEA (Finite element analysis) Explicit dynamics. Pada penelitian ini, frame sepeda standar akan dilakukan modifikasi pada head tube angle (HTA) dan top tube angle (TTA). Pada bagian HTA akan dibuat 6 variasi sudut yaitu 69O – 76O, sedangkan pada TTA dilakukan variasi 6 sudut yang berkisar antara 70O – 86O. Dari hasil simulasi diketahui bahwa defleksi maksimum pada bagian sambungan fork dengan head tube adalah 7.89 mm (HTA= 71.8O) dan pada variasi TTA didapatkan nilai maksimum defleksi sebesar 6.87 mm (TTA= 70O). Dari hasil simulasi juga diketahui bahwa perubahan sudut dibawah 20O baik pada HTA maupun TTA pada rangka sepeda relatif tidak mempengaruhi kekuatan dari rangka sepeda balap.

Abstract

Sistem perpipaan sangat penting di dunia industri, khususnya industri yang berkaitan dengan fluida seperti industi minyak dan gas. Beberapa gangguan dalam suatu proses produksi atau distribusi sering terjadi akibat adanya permasalahan dalam sistem perpipaan. Salah satu masalah serius di dalam sistem perpipaan adalah getaran akibat aliran dari fluida (flow-induced vibration). Masalah getaran ini bila tidak ditangani secara benar akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada struktur sistem perpipaan dan komponen-komponen yang terkait seperti pompa atau mesin-mesin fluida lainnya. Pada penelitian ini, pengaruh dari karakteristik fluida dan jenis tumpuan pada pola getar (mode shape) akan diinvestigasi secara eksperimental. Karakteristik fluida dinyatakan dalam fraksi udara dan cairan. Dua jenis tumpuan pipa yaitu simply supported dan clamped supported secara detail diinvestigasi. Mode shape dari getaran pipa yang terjadi diukur sebagai fungsi dari karakteristik fluida dan jenis tumpuan. Hasil pengukuran secara eksperimental selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan hasil simulasi yang dilakukan dengan Finite Element Analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa clamped support membuat pipa bergetar dengan frekuensi yang lebih tinggi, sedangkan aliran fluida dengan fraksi cairan yang lebih tinggi memberikan level getaran yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

In this paper, numerical method of crash impact by using explicit dynamic model was used to evaluate the bike frame design. Frontal impact simulation model was carried out to understand the characteristics of energy absorption, stress distribution and deformation of the bike frame. Carbon fiber T300 composite with elasticity modulus 129,79 GPa and overall frame weight is 1,8 kg was used in this simulation as material properties. Hashin damage criteria was used in this numerical analysis since this criteria was widely used to assess composite material damage simulation. In this study Head Tube angle (HTA) and Top Tube Angle (TTA) was modified. The modified HTA was varied from 69O to 76O and TTA was 70O to 86O. This modification was based on the original frame design which the HTA and TTA are 71.5O and 74O respectively. This modification was aimed to find the effect of HTA and TTA modification to energy absorption and stress distribution in the bike frame design. Simulation result shows that TTA and HTA modification affect the energy absorption of the bike frame. The smaller the energy absorption of the bike frame shows that the frame has poor quality of stress distribution.

Abstract

Electroplating on steel is basically done with the aim of protecting the steel surface from corrosion attack. However, it is necessary to know the quality surface hardness of steel that has undergone electroplating. This research is determining the electroplating time and the best anode and cathode distance to surface hardness in the nickel electroplating process on low carbon steel. The method was done by placing the specimen into a electrolyte solution. Then the hardness test was carried out on the specimen. The results shown that the ST-37 steel coating with nickel with a variation of the plating time of 12 minutes and the distance between the anode and cathode of 150mm,has highest hardness number of 246.7kg/mm2. By ANOVA analysis the coating time greatly affects the surface hardness.

Abstract

Kulit singkong (Manihot esculenta) merupakan bagian tubuh tumbuhan singkong yang cenderung menjadi limbah karena mengandung sianida yang hingga 618.2 mg/Kg. Dalam rangka mengurangi potensi pencemaran limbah kulit singkong maka digali potensi yang terkandung di dalamnya. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian sebelumnya diketahui bahwa kulit singkong dapat mengandung selulosa hingga 33%. Adanya kondisi tersebut menyebabkan terbukanya peluang kebermanfaatan kulit singkong sebagai sumber selulosa yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut menjadi material biopolymer ramah lingkungan. Tantangan pengembangan material berbasis selulosa dari limbah pertanian adalah adanya struktur lignoselulosa yang menghambat penetrasi reagen kimia. Oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan proses delignifikasi untuk memecah struktur lignoselulosa, sehingga menurunkan kadar lignin. Pada penelitian ini proses delignifikasi dilakukan dengan metode alkali dengan basa NaOH. Optimasi proses dengan melibatkan variabel terikat berupa konsentrasi NaOH (%), rasio solid/liquid(S/L), waktu (menit) dan suhu (°C) dilakukan dengan metode Response Surface Methodology (RSM) model Central Composite Design. Hasil analisis desirability mendapatkan kondisi optimum delignifikasi kulit singkong dengan pelarut basa NaOH, yaitu: konsentrasi NaOH 8.14%, rasio S/L 6.6, suhu reaksi sebesar 90°C dan lama reaksi selama 111 menit. Proses delignifikasi dengan kondisi tersebut diprediksi akan menghasilkan serbuk kulit singkong dengan kadar selulosa, hemiselulosa, dan lignin berturut-turut sebesar 68.27%; 6.21%; 0.98%.

Abstract

Jamboree Campsite Cibubur (BUPERTA) is located on the outskirts of Cibubur City which provides good suitable for birds. This study aims to study the diversity of bird species and identify habitat characteristics. Methods used are counting method, MacKinnon type list, habitat profile creation and interview. Shannon-Wiener's diversity index is obtained with a value of 2.921in the high category of it in a region. Number of bird species recorded as many as 22 species of birds. Category of easy type meeting types such as types of coconut honey, bondol java, bird church, cucak kutilang. The use of some types of tree strata such as feeding location, playground or chatting with each other and resting location, but not always the birds use only one type of habitat but there are some birds that use some habitat type in their daily activities. is carried out to see how vegetation shape and environmental conditions become the observation plot. The result vegetation analysis was obtained the identified tree level is 9 species. This refers to the background of the urban forest area that was once a rubber plantation. Level of dominance type rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) amounted to 14 individuals. The Import Value Index (INP) of vegetation analysis for plant type pole level with highest INP value is rubber of 54.08%, while the second highest pole is eboni (Diospyros celebica) of 48.13%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial rewards, professionalrecognition, and labor market considerations on the interest of accounting students to workas tax consultant. The tests carried out in this study were descriptive analysis tests, dataquality tests, namely validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, namelynormality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regressiontests, coefficient of determination tests, hypothesis tests, namely t tests and f tests. theresults of the study state that partially financial rewards, professional recognition, and labormarket considerations have a positive and significant effect on the interest of accountingstudents to have a career as a tax consultant. Simultaneously, financial rewards,professional recognition, and labor market considerations have a positive and significanteffect on accounting students' interest in a career as a tax consultant. The results of thecoefficient of determination with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.561 explain that the threeindependent variables in this study influence the dependent variable by 56.1% while theremaining 43.9% are influenced by other variables not present in this study

Abstract

Education nowdays become a hard material to teach to children aspecially discipline, but now with the help of technologies and augmented reality which is popular with the community, developer can make a game about discipline to let children and other have fun while studying and an extra augmented reality function. The method that are used in this development is the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) which consist of 6 stage that namely concept, design, materials collecting, assembl, testing, and distribution. The result of this development were tested using alpha test. This study focused at junior high school stage as source of learning discipline at home, school, or public places are expected to increase students awareness of disciplined behavior.

Abstract

Silica deposit powder from geothermal waste often becomes material waste that difficult to utilize and re-use. The characterization of silica deposit powder has a significant part in understanding its structure, composition, and potential application. Using silica as a filler system in additive manufacturing is one of the processes that can utilize silica deposit powder. This material has the potential to be used to create prototype product with stereolithography resin for 3D printing. The present study discusses the ability to mix specimens of silica (size 600 microns) and resin with a composition ratio of 1:100. The turbidity test revealed that the specimen mixed in the resin contents showing after 30- and 40-minutes examination from spectrophotometer. In the hardness test, by adding filler materials, it is shown that the filler decreased the hardness more than 46%. This research also successfully examines the most effective particle sizes to the length of time required for the mixing and curing processes in order to obtain the most optimal results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the selling skills of marketing officers in the process of selling insurance products at BCA Trunojoyo Branch. It is a qualitative descriptive study. The respondents are insurance marketing officers assigned to the BCA Trunojoyo branch in Jember. The data source used is primary data, which was obtained through interviews with the insurance marketing officers at the BCA Trunojoyo branch in Jember, conducted in April 2025. The results of the study indicate that the selling skills possessed by each individual selling skills have a crucial role in enhancing the success of insurance product sales. By implementing the development of good selling skills for marketing staff, it is hoped that Bank BCA Trunojoyo Jember can improve the quality of marketing staff periodically through training so that they can meet the company's goals and be able to maintain competitiveness in the banking sector, especially the sale of insurance products.
