Abstract

Optimalization of rural public transit is needed to improve people’s prosperity, especially for those who live in remote rural area. Rural public infrastructure nowadays hasn’t been optimized properly by the government yet, proven by a few number of region which already has urged rural transportation infrastructure. This research aims to select the location of rural public transit system development in Central Java according to priorities. This research focuses on the region which has had the interregion rural public transit system route already. The analysis of developing system of rural public transit defines the location priority by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and recommends its road typical. To determine location priority uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Determination of criteria based on the results of questionnaires distributed to the expert. The criteria are total area, the number of demand, population density, LQ index of rural public transit availability, the number of trip distribution, primary-food volume, the number of rural public transportation supply, and the number of vehicles-owner. Utility assessment is done by using secondary data. From these two steps, location priority will be determined. The last step is identified whether it is necessary or not to advance its road typical based on the Region Land Use Planning as mentioned in the valid regulation. The result shows that the most significant factor in determining the rural public transit system development is the number of demand which gets 25,7%. The result clearly shows that Brebes and Tegal has been admitted as the most priority region of rural public transit system development. Amongst of all the routes of interregion rural public transit, there are two routes which should be advanced its typical road: Boyolali-Sragen route and Sukoharjo-Boyolali route. The conclusion of this research is there is still a few of region on Central Java which already has the interregion rural public transit system route –only nine regions. The government should support another region to supply this route access.

Abstract

Recent building construction projects increasingly prioritize the integration of architectural (design) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) aspects as key elements to achieve effective and sustainable projects. This study aims to explore the close relationship between architecture and MEP in building construction projects and how integrating the two can provide optimal results. This article discusses the important role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in supporting the integration of architecture and MEP. BIM enables architecture and MEP professionals to work collaboratively in an integrated virtual environment, facilitating monitoring, coordination, and early identification of design conflicts. The results showed that effective use of BIM can create more efficient projects in terms of planning, execution, and maintenance. In addition, the study explores planning strategies that support the integration of architecture and MEP, including the selection of environmentally friendly materials, optimal spatial design, and energy efficiency. Comprehensive, sustainable planning can reduce environmental impact, reduce energy consumption, and reduce long-term operating costs. Project control in the context of architectural integration and MEP is also the focus of this study, with emphasis on construction quality monitoring, cost control and risk management. The success of a project often depends on careful control of these aspects. Therefore, this research provides insight into the integration of architecture and MEP in building construction projects and shows how this comprehensive approach can improve efficiency, sustainability, and sustainability as well as overall project outcomes.

Abstract

In the process of achieving goals, projects have characteristics called triple constraints, including specific target time, cost, and performance requirements. The delay in the completion process in a project is what will disrupt the triple constraint which has an impact on waste. One of the reasons is that the project still uses conventional methods. This research was conducted to provide information related to conventionally designed scheduling and with the implementation of Building Infortmation Modeling (BIM), namely using several supporting software including, Naviswork, Microsoft Project and Revit at the scheduling stage of multi-storey buildings, namely at the PNJ PUT Laboratory Building. The results showed that the elaboration of scheduling planning using BIM is more efficient, easy to understand, and provides a visualization of the construction sequence and avoids waste. Then, some of the percentage of waste obtained if using conventional methods is, around 10% on materials, 40% of projects are over budget, 30% of projects are reworked, and almost 90% of projects are delayed. Thus, the implementation of BIM in project scheduling is very important to overcome things that can harm a project.

Abstract

The rise of high-rise building development is due to land limitations and also the soaring population. The vulnerability of high-level building structures to lateral forces, one of which is the earthquake force, requires that high-level building structures be able to withstand the lateral forces that occur. There are several structural systems in resisting lateral forces, including moment-bearing frame systems and shear wall systems. The purpose of this research is to compare the structural analysis of three alternative plans with different shear wall placements. The structural analysis uses ETABS software that refers to SNI 1726: 2019. The results of the research from three alternative models, show that the smallest deviation value towards the X-axis and Y-axis, and the average deviation value is 19.787 mm in the X-direction and 17.220 mm in the Y-direction. The requirements for a dual system with a special moment-bearing frame are also met in alternative planning 2 with a contribution of forces acting on the portal of 36.7340% in the X-direction and 31.1996% in the Y-direction. The amount of mass participation that occurs is above 90% and in accordance with the requirements specified by SNI.

Abstract

Rendahnya kompetensi tenaga logistik terutama pengetahuan untuk menjalankan aplikasi MS Excel, merupakan salah satu kendala dalam memudahkan perusahaan jasa logistik/transportasi untuk menjalankan setiap aktivitasnya. Add-ins: Analysis ToolPak pada MS Excel sangat membantu pekerjaan di sektor logistic/transportasi seperti melakukan pemodelan bangkitan perjalanan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini untuk mengenalkan dan mendemonstrasikan penggunaan Add-ins MS Excel bagi SMA Plus Putra Melati, Jl. Singasari-Cibodas Desa. Singasari Km 5 Kec. Jonggol Kab. Bogor, Jawa Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat Wilayah Binaan Fakultas (PPM-WBF) dilakukan pada 22 Juli 2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan berbentuk pelatihan, diskusi dan demonstrasi pemodelan. Hasil kegiatan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan 6,98% fungsi MS Excel secara umum  dan 20,98% untuk pemodelan transportasi.

Abstract

Keterbatasan akses air bersih di wilayah pesisir Muara Gembong menjadi latar belakang penting bagi penelitian ini, yang bertujuan merancang desain dudukan alat mesin penjernih air yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan kualitas air payau dengan pendekatan yang sederhana, efektif, dan terjangkau. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan pendekatan teknis melalui kerja lapangan, di mana masyarakat berperan aktif dalam proses perancangan. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat lokal, diharapkan desain yang dihasilkan tidak hanya memenuhi fungsi teknis, tetapi juga dapat diproduksi secara lokal menggunakan material yang ramah lingkungan. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya dudukan alat yang fungsional dan berkelanjutan, yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat pesisir. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendorong kemandirian masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap solusi masalah air bersih di Muara Gembong dan menjadi model bagi daerah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa.
