Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Kumon method with tapertis media in understanding the concept of mathematical multiplication. The use of tapertis media aims to make learning more interesting and students can easily accept lessons at school. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. This research was conducted at SD IT An-Najah, Central Aceh District. The population in this study were all students of SD IT An-Najah. The research sample was the fourth grade students of SD IT An-Najah. The results showed that: There was a difference in the average pretest score of the experimental class which was higher than the control class (51.91 > 48.17). There is a difference in the average posttest score for the experimental class which is also higher than the control class (80.64 > 75.52). In addition, the n-gain test results for the experimental class were greater than the control class (0.507 > 0.425). The results of the t test also show that the average of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class (80.64 > 72.52). The results of the t test also showed a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 and 0.001 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the Kumon method with tapertis media is effective in increasing students' understanding of the multiplication concept at SD IT An-Najah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations, that mathematics learning activities in elementary schools still tend to be dominated by teachers with lecturing activities. This is what causes students to become passive and do not understand the material so that it affects low student learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design and research subjects of class III MIN 1 Aceh Tengah. The research was conducted using two classes, namely experimental and control. The instruments used are learning tools and test sheets in the form of description questions. To analyze the data, researchers used SPSS 16.0 for windows software. The results showed that (1) the ability of students to solve simple fraction problems using creative problem solving learning models supported by real object media increased with an average value of 84.00 or > 75% achieving KKM. (2) The ability to solve simple fraction problems using conventional learning models without the support of real object media tends to be low with an average score of 69.18 or <75% which achieves KKM. (3) There is a significant effect on the ability to solve simple fraction problems using the Creative Problem Solving learning model supported by real object media with Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, tcount > ttable, 7.744 > 2.032.

Abstract

This study aims to see the types of mistakes students make in solving HOTS type math problems as well as what mistakes they make. This type of research is a meta-analysis research. Sources of data are obtained by tracing research results in the form of national journals through Google Scholar, and references contained in journals. The analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. Based on the search results obtained 14 articles relevant to the research title, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that, there are 3 types of error analysis, namely 1) Newman error analysis (NEA). 2) Hadar error analysis. 3) Analysis of the errors found by the researcher. The mistakes made by students were misconceptions, calculations, techniques, understanding, not solving questions, and students being less careful.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengahsilkan modul dengan penggunaan bahasa lokal (Gayo) dalam penyajian dan penyelesaian masalah soal matematika, dan mengetahui hambatan mahasiswa saat menggunaan bahasa lokal (Gayo) dalam penyajian dan penyelesaian masalah soal Matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed methods, Model penelitian ini menggunakan model Model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan yang meliputi analisis, desai, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah Prodi PGMI tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, yaitu sebanyak 28 mahasiswa. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh modul yang valid dengan rata-rata 0,78. Nilai kepraktisan kefektifan dari modul berdasarkan angket yang disebar adalah 3,8. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat maka modul tersebut dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun hambatan nya adalah tidak semua materi dapat dirancang ke dalam bahasa Gayo, dan fasilitas media pembelajaran yang masih minim, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengadaan media oleh pihak kampus atau sekolah untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar.
