Abstract

This study aims to discuss keeping pets from the perspective of the hadith. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the analytical descriptive method. The formal object of this research is the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad regarding pets. The results of this research and discussion show that we are taught to love each other with fellow living beings, including pets. This study concludes that it is permissible to keep animals that are not prohibited by the Shari'a such as dogs and the importance of paying attention to the things that are needed by the pets they have, from eating, drinking, sheltering and so on.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the idea of ​​Instagram Mubadalah.id about the character of Rabbani in the Qur’an. In the post that was uploaded in the form of a meme on its website, Mubadalah.id seems to have contributed thoughts about the character of Rabbani that men and women must have. This is interesting to study further, considering that Mubadalah.id is an Instagram social media that actively posts issues around Islam, especially those related to gender. By using qualitative methods and a virtual ethnographic approach, this article concludes that Mubadalah.id’s Instagram provides the idea of ​​nine Rabbani characters based on verses of the Koran which are packaged in the form of memes, namely: having faith in Allah, always doing good deeds, protecting oneself from lust for the world, intertwin hablun minan-nas, have commendable morals, do not oppress women, are aware of their potential, are aware of slander within themselves, and behave in rahmatan lil ‘alamin. The nine characters of Rabbani in the Qur'an offered by Mubadalah.id are very relevant to the interpretation of Mufasir Nusantara against the verses which are used as a benchmark to designate the character of Rabbani. Therefore, the nine Rabbani characters need to be applied in Indonesian social life to achieve a better life.

Abstract

This article attempts to review the Qur'anic review of the urgency of unity in the midst of diversity by reflecting on the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the price of death for the Indonesian people. By using descriptive analytical qualitative methods, it can be concluded that diversity and diversity in Indonesia is a necessity. Therefore, Islam has encouraged its adherents to love and tolerate each other, to knit the ties of ukhuwah basyariyah and to build harmonious relations between human beings despite different religions, races, ethnicities, and others. In the view of the Qur'an, diversity and diversity can actually be a rope of unity and not be a way of division that can bring down each other and cause war in a country. The expression of the Qur'an is closely related to diversity and diversity in line with the slogan of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia Price Mati, because it has become the foundation of unity in the midst of diversity in Indonesia

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan relasi antara kandungan makna al-Qur’an dengan nama-nama surah, khususnya dalam juz ‘Amma. Agar penjelasan tidak terlalu meluas, penulis hanya memfokuskan pada empat surah yaitu al-Naba’, al-Takwir, al-Insyirah dan al-Nashr. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan murni secara content analysis, hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa munasabah al-Qur’an dalam kajian ‘Ulum al-Qur’an merupakan sebuah ilmu yang membahas keterkaitan antara ayat satu dengan ayat lainnya, atau ayat satu dalam suatu surah dengan ayat lainnya dalam surah yang berbeda. Keterkaitan ini tidak lain untuk saling melengkapi sebuah pemahaman kandungan makna sehingga rahasia cakrawala al-Qur’an dapat tersingkap, dan hal-hal yang dimaksudkan oleh Allah dapat terungkap. Sementara relasi antara kandungan makna dengan nama surah yang ada dalam Juz ‘Amma, dapat diketahi dari penjelasan nama-nama surah secara bahasa yang mengandung korelasi kuat dengan penjelasan ayat-ayat berikutnya. Meskipun nama-nama surah Juz ‘Amma sering diambil dari ayat pertama, tetapi ketika dipahami kandungan maknanya secara keseluruhan, tampak adanya keserasian (munasabah) antar keduanya. Dengan demikian, penulis berasumsi bahwa adanya keterkaitan antara kandungan makna dengan nama-nama surah Juz ‘Amma ini, dapat menambah khazanah macam-macam munasabah al-Qur’an berupa munasabah antara nama surah dengan kandungan makna kelompok surah pertama.

Abstract

Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa ideologi yang dianut oleh setiap mufasir tidak dapat dilepaskan dari dalam dirinya etika menafsirkan sebuah ayat al-Qur’an. Studi ini mengkaji tentang dialektika antara ideologi Islam tradisionalis dan reformis yang terdapat dalam tafsir al-Ibriz karya Bisri Musthafa dan tafsir an-Nur karya Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan studi pustaka (library research) murni dengan menggunakan teori sosiologi pengetahuan dari Karl Mannheim secara deskriptif-komparatif. Dengan demikian, kajian ini menghasilkan bentuk-bentuk dialektika di antara kedua tafsir yang meliputi seputar masalah taqlid, tawassul, dan bid’ah. Dari berbagai masalah tersebut, kedua mufasir memiliki pedapat yang saling bertolak belakang. Bisri sebagai pembela muslim Tradisionalis menerima praktik-praktik tersebut. Sementara Hasbi sebagai pembela Muslim reformis dengan tegas menolaknya.  Dialektika tersebut berdampak pada perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, pola pikir generasi setelah mufasir tersebut, dan memiliki kontribusi terhadap perkembangan khazanah tafsir al-Qur’an di Indonesia.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal Hamka's political thoughts and their influence on interpretation. Many  predictions  can  be made to the figure of Hamka. Hamka is not only known as a writer, columnist, but Hamka is also popular as a scholar, mufassir and politician. Hamka in conveying his ideas, not only verbally but also in writing. This is  evident  in  the  large  number  of Hamka's  works  from various scholars. Hamka's popular and phenomenal work is Tafsir al-Azhar. As someone involved in practical politics, gave Hamka an influence in interpreting the Koran. Among Hamka's ideas in Tafsir al-Azhar are related to politics. The findings of this study are that according to Hamka, the order for deliberation is contained in the al-Qur'an, however al-Qu'an does not explain in detail the implementation of the deliberation. The implementation of deliberations depends on the situation and condition of the community. In the election of the head of state, Hamka argued that the requirements for the head of state were people of faith. The reason Hamka is the head of state chosen by a believer is because the head of state is not a believer (non-Muslim) can invite him to taghout. There is no separation between state and religion in the relationship between state and religion. Islam requires a harmonious relationship between religion and state.
