Abstract

This article aims to show the importance of the socio-cultural approach in interpreting the Qur'an. Here, an exegete seeks to produce interpretive products through a thorough understanding of the texts of the Qur'an, then explains the intended meanings and seeks to relate the texts of the Qur'an with social reality and culture context in society. Hamka's Tafsir al-Azhar was chosen because the interpretation of al-Azhar was a popular interpretation in the third period in the development of interpretations in Indonesia. Al-Azhar's interpretation which is patterned with al-adabiy al-ijtima'iy approach, explains the social problems of society. The problems studied are women's leadership issues, inheritance and hijab. Hamka's interpretation of women's leadership is that men become leaders of women because men have the obligation to pay dowry to women. and also to treat his wife well. All of this shows that men are indeed leaders of women. The leadership comes from men instinct, while women have an instinct to be led. However, it is possible for women to become leaders if women have advantages over men. Men get twice the share of women in the distribution of inheritance because men's responsibility is heavier than women in property. Hamka does not view this inheritance difference from the physical aspects of women, but rather looks at the responsibilities given to men. The obligation of women to cover their genitals is to protect the honor of women and avoid mistreatment from other parties. Efforts to form a community of believers and morality are not only aimed at women, but also assigned to men.

Abstract

Artikel ini fokus pada makna haji dalam al-Qur’an yang diiringi dengan pemahaman dan pengamalan jamaah haji dalam pelaksanan ibadah haji. Pemahaman dan pengalaman jamaah haji dapat dilihat dalam pelaksanaan ibadah haji itu sendiri. Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia beragama Islam dan dari tahun ke tahun menunjukkan antusias yang sangat tinggi untuk melaksanakan ibadah haji. Hal ini dapat dilihat semakin banyak angka waiting list calon jamaah haji Indonesia. Beragamnya tingkat pendidikan jamaah calon haji Indonesia, kemampuan bahasa dan budaya, merupakan reliatas jamaah calon haji Indonesia. Tantangan yang dihadapi pemerintah selaku pelaksana layanan ibadah haji adalah bagaimana memberikan layanan maksimal bagi jamaah calon haji Indonesia. Bentuk layanan terhadap jamaah calon haji Indonesia adalah layanan transportasi, akomodasi dan konsumsi. Artikel ini menunjukan bahwa jamaah haji Indonesia memahami melaksanakan haji merupakan perintah wajib bagi umat Islam dan merupakan rukun kelima dari rukun Islam. Tujuan melaksanakan haji bukanlah untuk mendapatkan gelar haji atau posisi terhormat di masyarakat, namun semata-mata mencari ridha Allah dan mendapat haji mabrur. Pengalaman spiritual jamaah haji sangat dirasakan jamaah tatkala memasuki Masjidil Haram dan tempat-tempat ziarah lainnya selama melakukan ritual-ritual haji. Pemerintah selaku pelaksana haji berupaya untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi jamaah haji. Pelaksanaan haji berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Jamaah haji merasa puas dengan layanan haji yaitu layanan akomodasi, konsumsi dan transportasi. Kata kunci: Tafsir haji, realitas, problem, tantangan, jamaah haji.

Abstract

This research entitled "The Influence of Learning Quantum Teaching Model With Tandur Steps on The Skills Student Learning Cells Material for XI grades In Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang" This research was motivated by a teacher-centered learning model. This consequent of this model, was the learning takes place in one direction and the students have less opportunity to see the real phenomenon or media related material. The fact indicates that the methods used by teachers in teaching is dominated by the use of conventional methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quantum teaching model with measures against graft in Process Skills on Sel Material. The sample was a class XI 2 with 30 students and class XI 3 with 30 students. Methods of data collection using performance assessment. The analysis of the data used is a statistical test by using a statistical formula t test. The df = 58, a significant level of 0.05 for t-table value of 1.672 while the value t count of 5,433. The analysis mean is an effect of the quantum teaching model on the students learn skill for cell material in grades XI Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Meaning of Qana'ah in the Qur'an and Its Implementation In the Present (Tafsir Tahlili QS Study. Al-Hajj[22]: 36). Qana'ah is often misunderstood by resignedly accepting what it is without maximum effort and halal. This can be seen the rise of suicide cases caused by debt and increasing cases of corruption shows a person is dissatisfied with what they have and lack of spiritual, moral and moral understanding in society to prevent such behavior by means of religious. Lafazh qana'ah is mentioned once in the Qur'an, namely lafazh al-qani'. This research uses a qualitative approach based on literature (library research). The formulation of the problem of how the nature of qana'ah means in QS. Al-Hajj[22]: 36? How is qana'ah in the life of the Prophet and his depletion in the present? The method of interpretation used is the tahlili method in QS. Al-Hajj[22]: 36. The result of this study is the word qana'ah mentioned in the Qur'an with lafazh al-qani' meaning a fakir who accepts with satisfaction and sincerity for the sustenance that Allah has given and refrains from asking others. Qana'ah in the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to choose a simple way of life, accept the circumstances faced and accept whatever is owned and not greedy whether the issue of wealth, rank, honor or other. The implementation of qana'ah in the present is by maximizing in trying (working) patiently and surrendering to Allah. Ask God for additional sustenance and caution against the luxuries of the world. Then everything that has been tried is received with satisfaction and gratitude to God and utilized according to needs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diaspora in the view of the Al-Qur’an (Study of the Al-Qur’an Surah At-Taubah verse 122). This study uses a qualitative approach through the method of tahlili interpretation (analysis). The results and discussion of this study indicate that there is a view of the Al-Qur’an on diaspora for the achievement of national education development. This study concludes that good human resources and education can be realized by superior people. Diaspora is believed to have superior potential so that it can play a role in the process of achieving national education development by sharing and conveying the knowledge that has been obtained. This study recommends academics and researchers to develop further related to this research, to find out diaspora in the view of the Al-Qur’an (Study of the Al-Qur’an Surah At-Taubah verse 122).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the materialism of the book Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. Tafsir Al-Azhar is one of the interpretations of the sons of the Indonesian nation which is still very influential today, one of the interpretations that is considered very representative for expressing understanding in various disciplines, both religious and non-religious, and socio-historical. Islam is a universal teaching, there is no prohibition for a person not to be able to look for material while living in this world, but also not to forget about the afterlife. At this time material is the main reference in the social ladder in life, rank and wealth are very appropriate benchmarks for current conditions. living like this, a materialist and stylish mindset arises as a place for existence. This materialist mindset causes humans to always focus on the world and indirectly loves wealth excessively, causing a loss of self-esteem, social attitudes and rules that serve as guidelines. The materialism that the author means is a lifestyle that is excessive in worldly affairs, especially material things, so that it neglects the purpose of life, so the writer tries to understand the verses of materialism through Buya Hamka's interpretation. This study uses the Maudhu'i method, the form of research is library research. The primary data in this study is Al-Azhar Interpretation and secondary data in the form of interpretations, hadiths and supporting books and journals related to the material. The findings of this study are: a lifestyle that accumulates wealth, counts, spends extravagantly, boasts and loves wealth excessively is a characteristic of a materialistic attitude, when this attitude appears in social life, a lack of social solidarity and the emergence of individualistic attitudes such as arrogant and arrogant that is rampant so that it has an impact on aspects of social life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penafsiran Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi masalah kemiskinan dan bagaimana relevansi pengentasan kemiskinan. Dalam sejumlah literatur tafsir, masalah pendustaan terhadap agama dikupas secara mendalam sesuai dengan karakter dan kecenderungan mufasirnya. Surat al-Ma’un, di antara ayatnya ada pendusta agama yang tertuang di dalamnya. Namun, banyak juga mengandung hikmah serta nilai-nilai sosial yang dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk memecahkan masalah berupa pengentasan kemiskinan. Salah satu anjuran yang terdapat di dalam surat al-Ma’un adalah mengasihi anak yatim dan fakir/miskin, sehingga mendapatkan kasih sayang serta bentuk rasa kepedulian dari lingkungan sekitar. Islam sangat mendorong kepada umatnya agar tidak lalai dari status makhluk sosialnya yang saling membutuhkan sesama mahkluk ciptaan Allah swt, menganjurkan pemeluknya untuk memerhatikan lingkungan sekitar. Ibadah yang bersifat vertikal tidak lepas begitu saja dengan ibadah yang bersifat horizontal, bagaimana pun juga habluminaalaah dan hambluminnas harus seimbang. Al-Maraghi berbicara tentang orang-orang yang mendustakan agama menjadi persoalan. Mendustakan di sini dapat dimaknai sebagai pengingkaran dan penolakan terhadap kewajiban dalam menjalankan ajaran agama. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa ciri-ciri pendusta agama menurut al-Maraghi adalah orang yang menghardik dan menolak keberadaan anak yatim, tidak memberi makan kepada fakir miskin, suka menghina dan bersikap sombong, shalatnya tidak membekas di hatinya, ingin mendapatkan pujian dan tidak memberikan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh fakir miskin. Relevansi pengentasan kemiskinan adalah seyogyanya umat Islam menumbuhkan sifat tidak bakhil/kikir, anjuran sedekah/infak, beribadah (ritual/spiritual) secara ikhlas, dan membangun etos kerja.

Abstract

At the beginning of this study aims to understand about the punishment of theft in the present time where society considers this punishment is very cruel due to amputation that can make the perpetrator disabled for life, some even refuse and oppose when the punishment is to be implemented. The method used is the Comparative method, which is a method that compares the verses of the Qur'an with other verses, the verses of the Qur'an with the Hadith and the opinion of the commentator with other commentators. Muhammad Syahrur explained the theory of the limit, which is the position of the maximum limit, that is, the determination of punishment should not exceed the limit, but can be below it or remain at the maximum limit line. Wahbah Zuhaili said this punishment is a framework to educate and give lessons to the perpetrators and also to keep the community safe from something bad happening.

Abstract

At the end of December 2019, people were shocked by the coronavirus disease-19. People believe that the virus spread from Wuhan, China. This epidemic finally attracted international attention, so that on January 30 WHO declared it a public health emergency. All humans worry over this situation. However, there are efforts to overcome it, one of which is by changing the psychological (inner) of the human being. This paper aims to review the concept of change (taghyīr) QS. al-Ra'du verse 11 in tackling covid-19. With a descriptive method of analysis literature review related to the topic this study resulted: QS. al-Ra'du verse 11 talks about social change (qaum) which starts from the mental condition (anfus) of the community. Changes that come from the community, concerning their inner side, are a prerequisite of changes by Allah. The inner side includes the mindset, strong determination, intention and understanding, so that from those create self-awareness. In any case, building awareness is the most important thing for achieving success and social change, especially in tackling Covid-19. People who are aware have to pay attention to their food and apply 3 M (wearing masks, washing hands with soap and keeping a distance).

Abstract

Basically the study of the Qur'an does not necessarily focus on the text of the Qur'an. However, it can also refer to social phenomena associated with the presence of the Qur'an in certain Muslim communities, as well as other individuals who are involved with it on a daily basis or what is often referred to as the Living Qur'an. The Qur'an lives in society and is known as the Living Qur'an. In contrast to most Al-Qur'an studies which concentrate on the text of the Al-Qur'an, this article aims to bring the evolution of Al-Qur'an studies into the realm of the Living Qur'an. An interesting option in its development may be the living Koran. The research findings show that Surah Al-Fatihah can be used to perform meruqyah for individuals.
