ABSTRAKTren masyarakat modern saat ini lebih senang membaca, belajar, dan berkumpul, sambil nongkrong ditempat-tempat hiburan dibanding harus pergi ke perpustakaan. Disisi lain, saat ini diberbagai pusat perbelanjaan seperti mall dan tempat wisata telah banyak didirikan public space dengan konsep mini library. Salah satu alasan masyarakat lebih memilih tempat tersebut dibanding perpustakaan adalah desain interior yang menarik dan aspek kenyamananya. Perpustakaan diharapkan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan tren dan budaya masyarakat saat ini untuk menarik kembali minat pemustakanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep desain interior perpustakaan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis berdasarkan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain interior merupakan bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan pengelola perpustakaan. Desain interior selain untuk menarik minat kunjung pemustaka juga dapat meningkatkan minat baca, membentuk citra positif perpustakaan, dan menumbuhkan kepuasan bagi pemustaka. Selain memperhatikan aspek estetika, desain interior sebuah perpustakaan tetap harus memperhatikan aspek fungsionalnya. Inovasi perpustakaan berkonsep Post-Modern Space dengan tambahan cafe dan lounge dapat diterapkan dalam perpustakaan modern dengan tetap memperhitungkan tata ruang, tata warna, pencahayaan, sirkulasi udara, dan tata suara.ABSTRACTModern society trends today prefer to read, study, and gather, while hanging out in places of entertainment rather than having to go to the library. On the other hand, currently in various shopping centers such as malls and tourist attractions have been established many public space with the concept of a mini library. One reason people prefer that place compared to the library is the attractive interior design and comfort aspects. Libraries are expected to adapt to the current trends and culture of society to reclaim the interests of its librarians. This study aims to explain the concept of library interior design both theoretically and practically based on literature review. The results showed that interior design is an important part that must be considered by library managers. Interior design in addition to attract visitors visit can also increase interest in reading, forming a positive image of the library, and foster satisfaction for pemustaka. In addition to considering the aesthetic aspect, the interior design of a library must still pay attention to its functional aspects. Post-Modern Space concept innovation with additional cafe and lounge can be applied in modern libraries while taking into account the layout, color, lighting, air circulation and sound system.

Introduction. In academic libraries, transformational and situational leadership is important as it can change organizational behavior and increase the staff performance.There is limited discussion types of leadership. This research discusses two types of leadership and develops a framework in academic libraries of ideal leadership. Data Collection Method. The paper used a qualitative approach and considered literature review from books, journals, and other sources related to the theme. Data Analysis. The paper analyzed various literature, examined and selected data, developed a theoretical framework, and conceptualized the contents. Result and Discussions. Transformational leadership in the academic library is appropriate to create a vision, however, staff commitments develop slowly. The leadership can be appropriately applied to the academic library with a few human resource as itemphasizes two-way communication to motivate staff. Meanwhile, in the situational leadership, organizational vision can be achieved when staff commitments are developed effectively. The situational leadership can be implemented in the academic libraries with large number of staff by using direct and two-way interaction, as staff motivation may increase when they are trusted. Conclusion. The transformational and situational leadershipsare effective when applied to the proper circumstances to achieve set goals. Library leaders need to consider strengths and weaknesses of the leadership style.

Preservasi dan konservasi sebagai upaya untuk pelestarian bahan pustaka belum dilakukan secara maksimal di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Trenggalek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana proses preservasi dan konservasi yang dilakukan serta kendala-kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualtitatif dengan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelestarian bahan pustaka sudah dilakukan sejak lama, namun belum maksimal. Kegiatan preservasi dan konservasi dilakukan untuk perbaikan dan perawatan bahan pustaka serta pencegahan dari faktor perusak. Alih media telah dilakukan terhadap koleksi-koleksi penting yang bernilai sejarah, namun hasilnya belum dapat dilayankan karena keterbatasan media dan keahlian pustakawan. Kendala dalam proses preservasi dan konservasi diantaranya keterbatasan tempat, kurangnya tenaga profesional, kurangnya dana, serta fasilitas yang kurang lengkap dan memadai.

The advent of information technology, internet and social media are able to change the behavior of human beings in socializing and communicating. Communication without control in social media cause in advent a variety of crimes for example cyberbullying. Teenagers are accounted for the highest percentage as perpetrators or victims of cyberbullying on social media especially facebook. This article describes the phenomenon of cyberbullying in adolescence in social media facebook with some cases that occur in Indonesia. Electronic archives have an important role in system of administration, it also as a valid instrument of evidence based on Undang-Undang No. 11 pasal 5 (1) 2008. Information technology progression requires the archive being processed electronically. The purpose of article to explain about what and how to manage archive electronic. This article was compiled based on the study of literature. The tools used to manage the electronic archives are hardware (computers, print scanner, and media storage) and software. Electronic archive different with print archive. Electronic archive has four cycles of creation and management of storage, distribution and use, maintenance, and disposition. Removal print archive into electronic archives can be done by way of scanning, conversion, Importing. Electronic archive storage can be done online, offline or nearline

Perpustakaan sebagai lembaga pelayanan jasa informasi harus terus berkembang seiring dengan kebutuhan pemustaka yang semakin kompleks dan beragam. Perpustakaan sudah seharusnya dikelola oleh pustakawan yang memiliki keterampilan sosial khusus dalam memberikan pelayanan yang bermutu kepada pemustaka. Pelayanan yang bermutu menjadi tolak ukur kepuasan pemustaka. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan kajian literatur yang diambil dari berbagai sumber rujukan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran secara umum bagaimana menjadi pustakawan profesional yang terampil dalam memberikan pelayanan bermutu kepada pemustaka secara konseptual. Pelayanan bermutu dapat dilakukan dengan menyampaikan sifat positif, mengenali kebutuhan pelanggan, memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan, dan memastikan pemustaka kembali lagi atau merasa puas. Pustakawan juga dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan interpersonal yang ditunjukkan dengan berkomunikasi secara efektif kepada pemustaka.ABSTRACTLibrary information services as an institution should continue to evolve along with user needs of an increasingly complexs. The library was supposed to run by librarians who have specific social skills in providing quality service to user. Service quality became measure user satisfaction. This article based on the study of literature drawn from various reference sources. Purpose this article is to give an overview in general how to be professional librarians in providing quality service to user as conceptually. Quality service can do with be done with positive atitude , recognize customer needs, satisfy customer needs, and make sure user back again or feel satisfied. Librarians also are required to have interpersonal skills demonstrated by communicating effectively to the user.

Informasi dengan sangat mudah tersebar menggunakan teknologi informasi dan internet saat ini. Namun berbagai permasalahan muncul akibat penyalahgunaan teknologi tersebut, seperti cybercrime dan penyebaran informasi hoax. Kontrol informasi sangat penting untuk mengevaluasi kredibilitas informasi dan sumbernya. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana mengatasi cybercrime dan hoax melalui seleksi informasi yang tepat. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan digunakan dalam penelitian ini serta delengkapi dengan data dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cybercrime dan penyebaran informasi hoax masih terjadi bahkan sampai saat ini. Terdapat tiga ancaman UU ITE di Indonesia yang berpotensi menimpa pelaku cybercrime dengan memanfaatkan facebook yaitu ancaman pelanggaran kesusilaan pasal 27 ayat (1), penghinaan atau pencemaran nama baik pasal 27 ayat (3), dan penyebaran kebencian berdasarkan suku, agama, ras dan antar golongan (SARA) pasal 28 ayat (2). Upaya untuk mencegah cybercime dapat dilakukan dengan cara melindungi komputer dari virus, menjaga privasi, mengamankan e-mail, melindungi Id/Account, membuat backup data, dan selalu up to date terhadap informasi. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam menyeleksi sumber informasi dari internet agar terhindar dari bahaya cybercrime, yaitu: relevansi, akurasi, otoritas reputasi, objektivitas, kekinian, cakupan, bukti yang kuat, serta bahasa dan gaya penulisanABSTRACTInformation very easily spread use of information technology and the internet today. But various problems arising out of the misuse of these technologies, such as cybercrime and information dissemination hoax. Control of information is very important to evaluate the credibility of the information and its source. This research explains how to overcome cybercrime and hoax through the selection of appropriate information. Qualitative approach with literature study method used in this research and complemented by data and document. The results showed that cybercrime and information dissemination hoax still occur even today. There are three threats of UU ITE in Indonesia that could potentially overwrite the perpetrators of cybercrime by utilizing facebook, namely the threat of moral violation of article 27 section (1), insults or defamation of article 27 section (3), and the dissemination of hatred based on ethnic, religion, race and intergroup (SARA) Article 28 section (2). Efforts to prevent cybercime can be done by protecting the computer from viruses, maintaining privacy, secure e-mail, protecting Id/Account data, making backups, and always up to date to information. There are several factors that must be considered in selecting the source of information from the internet to avoid the dangers of cybercrime, namely relevance, accuracy, authority of reputation, objectivity, currency, coverage, strong evidence, as well as the language and style of writing.

Library need a leader who has high integrity to develop library along current times. One leadership style that can be applied in library is prophetic leadership. This research aims to explain about concept of prophetic leadership in management of human resources in library by study of literature method. Prophetic leadership appropriate and can applied in library because a leader who has a prophetic leadership style has a high integrity (As Sidq), reliable (Al Amanah) means the leader of library forms should prove a real job, At-Talbligh mean the leader of the library must be willing to receive constructive feedback, and Al Fatanah, leader of the library should make him able to work intelligently and decisively by combining intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ). Library leaders which good quality will deliver high quality human resources, therefore the role of head library in management of human resources is crucial to realize the human resources professional and competent in the library.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengolahan jurnal cetak di Perpustakaan Fakultas Psikologi UGM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perpustakaan Fakultas Psikologi UGM mengolah jurnal cetak dengan cara manual dan elektronik. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam pengolahan jurnal dimulai dari pemeriksaan dan pemberian cap perpustakaan, pencatatan, penginputan, penjilidan, pelabelan dan penyusunan koleksi dalam rak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perpustakaan dalam pengolahan jurnal cetak adalah masih banyaknya koleksi jurnal cetak yang belum diinput kedalam Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan (SIPUS Simaster) dan peroses penginputan jurnal tidak memasukkan nama pengarang kedua dan selanjutnya serta tidak menuliskan abstrak. Perpustakaan Fakultas Psikologi sebaiknya menambah tenaga pustakawan ataupun tenaga teknis untuk menginput identitas jurnal yang belum dimasukkan kedalam SIPUS Simaster dan mengedit kembali identitas jurnal yang sudah terlanjur diinput dengan melengkapi identitas jurnal dari nama pengarang kedua dan selanjutnya serta abstrak.
