Evaluation of library collections is a mandatory activity that must be done librarian to keep the qualityof collection and existence of the library. The purpose of this study is to explain the efforts made librarians infulfilling the needs of userinformation through collection evaluation in library with ALA standar. This research usesdescriptive qualitative approach using literature study. The results showed that evaluation of library collectioncan be done with two methods. First, centralized method on a collection; by checking lists, bibliographies, andcatalogs, expert opinions (subject specialist), and comparisons of statistical data. Second, the comparison methodwith various collection standards; by analyzing circulation studies, user opinions, analysis of library borrowingbetween libraries, citation studies, on-site usage studies (reading room), and availability of shelf collections.Librarians must evaluate collections periodically to keep the collection quality as user needs.

(Objectives) Literacy is a key element in the education system in the boarding school, but received many get negative responses in the community that the education of the trend is not in accordance with the development of the era. This research aims to explain the culture of literacy in Mbah Dul boarding school as a form of readiness of students to face life in the community later. (Method) The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data is obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis is done through data reduction process, data presentation, and draw conclusion. The validity of the data by triangulation. (Findings) The results showed that the literacy culture in Mbah Dul boarding school started from the teaching of the “kitab kuning” consisting of Badongan and Sorogan, Syawir, Muhafadzoh, Muto'laah, and Khitobah very useful for students as a provision of community life, become religious figures, Da'i, and become a pioneer of change in society. Tomorrow, the need for literacy seminars, writing training and the assignment of students to add literacy skills, strengthening media literacy

Repositories in Higher Education have a very important role. In addition to storing scientific work produced by students, the repository also serves to improve the ranking of Webometrics in order to realize World Class University. Therefore the policy of repository development must be done properly by considering the aspect of its users. This study aims to explain the students’ perceptions of independent upload system and ETD access repository in UGM library. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with data retrieval technique using interview and completed with document. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results show that self-propagation policies and ETD access repository are considered to be very precise according to the perception of users, since the need for electronic information is increasing. The policy must be done to create open access in order to realize the excellent service in the library. Independent upload systems and ETD access repositories can improve their evectivity and efficiency as students can upload and access their final assignments from anywhere and anytime. It also provides security and convenience for students because the files that have been uploaded are stored in the system and can be downloaded or requested to the library whenever needed.Repositori di Perguruan Tinggi memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Selain untuk menyimpan karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa, repositori juga berfungsi untuk meningkatkan peringkat Webometrics dalam rangka mewujudkan World Class University. Oleh karena itu kebijakan pengembangan repositori harus dilakukan secara tepat dengan mempertimbangkan aspek penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap sistem unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori di perpustakaan UGM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dan dilengkapi dengan dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa kebijakan unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori dinilai sangat tepat menurut persepsi pemustaka, mengingat kebutuhan terhadap informasi elektronik saat ini semakin meningkat. Kebijakan tersebut wajib dilakukan untuk menciptakan open acces dalam rangka mewujudkan pelayanan prima di perpustakaan. Sistem unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori dapat meningkatkan evektifitas dan efisiensi karena mahasiswa dapat men-unggah dan mengakses tugas akhir mereka dari mana saja dan kapan saja. Selain itu juga memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi mahasiswa karena file yang telah di-unggah tersimpan didalam sistem dan dapat di-download atau diminta ke perpustakaan ketika sewaktu-waktu dibutuhkan.

ABSTRAKTren masyarakat modern saat ini lebih senang membaca, belajar, dan berkumpul, sambil nongkrong ditempat-tempat hiburan dibanding harus pergi ke perpustakaan. Disisi lain, saat ini diberbagai pusat perbelanjaan seperti mall dan tempat wisata telah banyak didirikan public space dengan konsep mini library. Salah satu alasan masyarakat lebih memilih tempat tersebut dibanding perpustakaan adalah desain interior yang menarik dan aspek kenyamananya. Perpustakaan diharapkan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan tren dan budaya masyarakat saat ini untuk menarik kembali minat pemustakanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep desain interior perpustakaan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis berdasarkan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain interior merupakan bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan pengelola perpustakaan. Desain interior selain untuk menarik minat kunjung pemustaka juga dapat meningkatkan minat baca, membentuk citra positif perpustakaan, dan menumbuhkan kepuasan bagi pemustaka. Selain memperhatikan aspek estetika, desain interior sebuah perpustakaan tetap harus memperhatikan aspek fungsionalnya. Inovasi perpustakaan berkonsep Post-Modern Space dengan tambahan cafe dan lounge dapat diterapkan dalam perpustakaan modern dengan tetap memperhitungkan tata ruang, tata warna, pencahayaan, sirkulasi udara, dan tata suara.ABSTRACTModern society trends today prefer to read, study, and gather, while hanging out in places of entertainment rather than having to go to the library. On the other hand, currently in various shopping centers such as malls and tourist attractions have been established many public space with the concept of a mini library. One reason people prefer that place compared to the library is the attractive interior design and comfort aspects. Libraries are expected to adapt to the current trends and culture of society to reclaim the interests of its librarians. This study aims to explain the concept of library interior design both theoretically and practically based on literature review. The results showed that interior design is an important part that must be considered by library managers. Interior design in addition to attract visitors visit can also increase interest in reading, forming a positive image of the library, and foster satisfaction for pemustaka. In addition to considering the aesthetic aspect, the interior design of a library must still pay attention to its functional aspects. Post-Modern Space concept innovation with additional cafe and lounge can be applied in modern libraries while taking into account the layout, color, lighting, air circulation and sound system.

Due to the different types of information and access to open Islamic literature, the millennial Islamic community is currently facing various challenges in finding information. This study aims to dig deeper into the problem of finding Islamic information for the millennial Muslim generation through literary studies from books, journals and academic papers. The result is that the problems faced by the millennial Muslim generation are the transition from printed information to digital, the domination of the Internet as a medium for searching for Islamic information in which radical Islamic literature exists. It shows that it is increasing due to open access through and publishers, bookstores, libraries. Low information literacy and anxiety are also barriers to seeking information. The role of the library is very important as information management, providing Islamic information in both printed and digital formats, and initiating open access.Keywords: Information search, Internet, Digital information, Islamic literature, Islamic libraryABSTRAKMasyarakat muslim milenial mengalami berbagai problematika dalam pencarian informasi pada masa ini karena jenis informasi yang beragam dan akses terhadap literatur keislaman yang terbuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau problematika pencarian informasi keislaman bagi generasi muslim milenial secara lebih mendalam menggunakan kajian literatur baik dari buku, jurnal maupun artikel ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problematika yang dihadapi generasi muslim milenial terkait dengan pergeseran informasi cetak ke digital dan dominasi internet sebagai media pencarian informasi keislaman yang didalamnya terdapat literatur keislaman yang bermuatan radikal, juga akses yang semakin terbuka melalui penerbit, toko buku, dan perpustakaan. Kemampuan literasi informasi yang rendah dan kecemasan juga menjadi hambatan dalam melakukan pencarian informasi. Perpustakaan berperan penting dalam menyediakan informasi keislaman baik cetak maupun digital, membuka akses dan sebagai kontrol informasi.

Islamic literature in Indonesia is rapidly transitioning from print to digital, and an Islamic digital library may be crucial to meeting society's more complex needs in the information age. The purpose of this article is to describe the movement in Islamic literature from printed to digital in Indonesia, as well as the importance of digital Islamic libraries for the millennial Muslim. Researchers utilise literature studies to acquire data from published books, journals, and scientific publications. The data analysis followed the Miles concept of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. While triangulation is used to validate the data. The results show a strategic relationship between information technology, the information society,d digital libraries. The development of digital Islamic libraries in the information age is driven by the increasing need for Islamic literature among millennial Muslims and their tendency to access Islamic literature through the internet. Islamic libraries are essential for digitizing and disseminating digital Islamic literature relevant to millennial Muslims. Additionally, access must be granted as a means of monitoring Islamic information.

The school library is one of the important facilities in supporting the success of the teaching and learning program. Its main function is to provide learning references for students, teachers and technical personnel at school. Before the information is presented, school librarians manage the library materials through several stages. This study aims to determine the application of SNP Number 12 of 2017 in the collection management section in school libraries. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with data search techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research location is in the library of SMAN 1 Kedungwaru, MAN 2 Tulungagung, and SMKN 1 Rejotangan. The three schools have different focuses according to their respective development focus. The results showed that the implementation of library collection management has not fully met the SNP standard number 12 of 2017. The three libraries have not met the minimum standards for the type and number of collections. The availability of electronic collections and reference collections such as dictionaries is only the library of SMAN 1 Kedungwaru that has met the standards. However, other standards have met the SNP, such as the processing of library materials and weeding activities that are scheduled and carried out routinely once a year, and maintenance of library materials at least once a year.

Industri penerbitan buku harus tetap eksis di era globalisasi untuk mewadahi hasil karya para penulis, dan tetap memberikan royalti yang pantas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menjelaskan bagaimana system royali pada perjanjian penerbitan buku di Penerbit Insan Madani Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi lapangan, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerbit Insan Madani menerapkan dua konsep pemberian royalti kepada penulis buku. Pertama, adalah sistem 10% dari harga jual dipotong pajak 15% dimana royalti dibayarkan dua kali dalam setahun, dan kedua dengan sistem beli putus dimana sebuah naskah akan dibayar langsung ke penulis begitu bukunya diterbitkan. Pemberian royalti sudah sesuai dengan strandar umumnya yaitu 10% dari harga buku setelah dipotong pajak 15%. Permasalahan dalam perjanjian penerbitan buku dan royalti adalah apabila buku tidak laku dipasaran atau dijual dengan harga dibawah standar maka diperlukan perjanjian ulang.

The purpose of this study is to provide an explanation for the actions taken by the local government work unit in Banjar City to stimulate public interest in reading. The work unit of the Regional Public library, situated on Jalan RE. Kosasih in Banjar City, is the subject of the study. Descriptive qualitative research is employed in conjunction with Campbell J.P.'s theory of effectiveness approach to examine the problem of reading interest services at the Banjar City regional public library in detail and depth, thereby facilitating a more comprehensive discussion of its real-world aspects. the data acquisition process was carried out by interviews, field notes and documentation notes. Based on the data that has been reduced and presented, researchers make conclusions that are supported by strong evidence at the data collection stage. The study's findings show that the effectiveness level is very successful. on the program's sustainability up to this point as well as the target's achievement with community involvement in spite of challenges brought on by the budget shortfall. As a served community, educational services are also met on the program satisfaction criteria; nevertheless, in order to improve library flexibility, collaboration with other stakeholders is required. Excellent planning and resource utilization results in a high level of efficiency in the input and output processes that support activities. In the meantime, the overarching objective of this exercise as a teaching tool has been met with the anticipated success.
