Abstract

The purpose of this reaserch is to know about the structure of attached Mollusca community of mangrove vegetation. The vertical observation of the Mollusca here done to the root, stem and leares of the mangrove. The result of the research showed that Gastropoda that had been found consist of 8 (eight) Family and 11(eleven) species among any different mangrove vegetation. There were 7 kind of mangrove all and in the telly process the diversity, the similarity and domination index was vused. The mumber of Mollusca of every kind of vegetation were varied.While in morisite index the distribution fattern of the attached Mollusca were absolute defferent they distribution fattrent were random. The INP value of the every kind of mangrove is defferent the range between the lowest and the highest were about 27.859 to 300.000.

Abstract

Learning competencies are a reference for students' acting, behavioral, and thinking skills. The purpose of learning is to determine the type of material, strategies, methods, and media used in the learning process. Learning Arabic aims to foster language skills. On the other hand, there needs to be more theory and practice in its competency design and learning objectives. This study's data collection techniques use a phenomenological qualitative approach based on interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that its implementation has disadvantages, including the need for harmony between the elements of competence and the competencies applied. Second, there is a lack of achievement of learning objectives due to the formulation of learning objectives and the application of learning objectives that need to be followed by the theory of learning objectives. The design of competencies and the objectives of Arabic language learning will be achieved if the design and objectives of learning Arabic are based on the fundamental philosophical formulation of competency designs and the objectives of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

تحكي القصة القصيرة "الدليل التائه" في مختارات الكابوس لنجيب كيلاني عن حياة الشخصية الرئيسية التي تريد السعي وراء الشرف. الغرض من هذا البحث هو معرفة أشكال الصراع وأسبابه الاجتماعي في القصة القصيرة. الطريقة المستخدمة هي طريقة وصفية نوعية من خلال وصف البيانات التي تم العثور عليها. تشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى وجود شكلين فقط هما الصراع الشخصي والصراع بين الطبقات الاجتماعية. والصراع الشخصي يوجد إحدى عشرة بيانة وأما الصراع بين الطبقات الاجتماعية خمس بيانات. بينما لم يتم العثور على أشكال أخرى من الصراع مثل الصراع العنصري والصراع السياسي والصراع الدولي. أسباب الصراع الاجتماعي في القصة القصيرة عند نظرية كارل ماركس هو التغيير الاجتماعي والطبقة الاجتماعية والسلطة. وأما المشاكل أو المشكلات الاقتصادية التى تسبب الى تكوين الطبقتين و هما الطبقة العليا والطبقة الدنيا. Abstract The short story "Ad-Dalīlu at-Tāih" from Najib Kailani's anthology "Al-Kābūs" explores the search for dignity by its protagonist. This research aims to identify the forms and causes of social conflict within the story. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the study analyzes relevant data. The findings reveal two primary forms of social conflict: personal conflicts and conflicts between social classes. Eleven instances of personal conflict and five of class conflict were identified, while other forms like racial, political, and international conflicts were absent. Drawing upon Karl Marx's theories, the study attributes the social conflict in the story to factors such as social change, class structure, and power dynamics. The emergence of economic disparity leads to the formation of two distinct classes: the upper and lower classes.

Abstract

Pada puisi terkandung makna dan tujuan yang ingin disampaikan oleh penyair melalui bunyi dan kata pada puisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strata norma yang ada pada puisi tersebut serta menekankan makna yang terkandung dalam setiap lapis norma yang ada dalam puisi ‘Amal’ Karya Mahmoud Darwish menggunakan pendekatan teori strukturalisme strata norma Roman Ingarden melalui lima lapis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui dua sumber data yaitu data primer yang berupa teks dalam puisi Amal karya Mahmoud Darwish dan data sekunder yang berupa buku, jurnal, dan bacaan-bacaan yang relevan lainnya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah lapis bunyi terdapat asonansi, aliterasi dengan susunan suara-suara yang berat dan lirih, pengulangan kata guna mempertegas makna yang terkandung dalam bunyi kata tersebut. Lapis arti di dalamnya terdapat keindahan susunan dengan konotasi dan denotasi dalam membuat puisi tersebut. Ketiga, lapis objektif yang terdiri dari tokoh, objek, latar, dan dunia pengarang yang membangun puisi tersebut. Lapis dunia menggambarkan harapan dan identitas yang kuat untuk meraih keadilan dan kebebasan. Dan pada lapis metafisis, penyair mengajak pada para pembaca untuk merenung terkait harapan dan perjuangan di negeri yang sedang mengalami konflik berkepanjangan.Kata Kunci: Puisi ‘Amal’, Mahmoud Darwish, Strata Norma Roman Ingarden

Abstract

This research attempts to explore the use of Arabic authentic texts in teaching reading skills communicatively in the classroom and its impact on developing reading skills and motivating students to learn to read. To address this issue, quantitative research was conducted on 34 students from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the State Islamic University of Tulungagung. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group using four authentic Arabic texts that were taken from online newspapers with appropriate readability. It was made to measure before and after reading using the original Arabic texts. Independent samples of the t-test and the group acquisition method in the pre- and post-test revealed that the use of authentic reading texts has a positive effect on the reading comprehension of second-stage students. From the pre-test to the post-test, there was a significant difference (0.001 < 0.05) before and after the implementation of the authentic reading texts. Also, the authentic texts affected students' motivation to read. Through observation and interview, it is obtained that the proper use that is built in the light of the authentic Arabic texts has a positive effect on the students’ motivation to read, in that the students have the desire to read the texts more than they were, because they are interested in texts that describe the life and real culture from the learned language.

Abstract

Keberlangsungan ekosistem mangrove merupakan aspek penting karena berkaitan dengan pengurangan atau penambahan akumulasi sedimen seperti proses abrasi dan akresi. Mangrove di pesisir Tanjung Batu telah mengalami penurunan sejak 2001-2010 yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas masyarakat seperti penebangan pohon, pembukaan lahan untuk tambak dan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengestimasi laju akumulasi sedimen mangrove di Tanjung Batu. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Juli 2018. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 3 stasiun meliputi identifikasi jenis mangrove, pengukuran Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) mangrove dan pengambilan sedimen corring menggunakan pipa stainless. Sampel sedimen dipotong berdasarkan interval 5 cm (kedalaman 0-15 cm), dan interval 2 cm (kedalaman 48-50 cm) yang digunakan sebagai Pb-210 supported (Stasiun 1 dan 3). Stasiun 5 dipotong dengan interval 4, 6 dan 8 cm (kedalaman 1-50 cm). Analisis sampel menggunakan alpha spektrometer dengan radioisotop Pb-210. Penentuan umur sedimen dan laju akumulasi sedimen menggunakan model Constant Rates of Supply (CRS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa laju akumulasi sedimen selama 20 tahun terakhir (1998-2018) berkisar 0,09-0,20 g cm-2 tahun-1. Laju akumulasi tertinggi adalah Stasiun 1 yang merupakan lokasi dengan umur sedimen paling tua dan didominasi mangrove dengan DBH > 5 cm, sedangkan laju akumulasi terendah adalah Stasiun 5 yang memiliki umur sedimen paling muda dan didominasi mangrove dengan DBH < 5 cm.

Abstract

In qira’ah instruction, standardized Arabic texts often fail to engage students from culturally rich regions. This study examines how integrating classic Mataraman folktales can enhance qira’ah outcomes while strengthening cultural identity among Arabic Language and Literature students. The research responds to the need for culturally responsive pedagogy that bridges foreign language acquisition with the preservation of local culture in Indonesian Islamic higher education, where Arabic language mastery often feels detached from students’ lived experiences. Using a qualitative case study approach at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah, Tulungagung, data were collected through participatory observation across 12 sessions, semi-structured interviews with 26 students and three lecturers, and analysis of instructional materials. Triangulation and member-checking techniques ensured data validity. Findings revealed that incorporating Mataraman folktales, specifically the tales of Gunung Budeg, Lembu Peteng, and Putri Gayatri, increased student motivation by 78%, text comprehension by 65%, and cultural identity by 83%. Qira’ah skills improved significantly across literal comprehension (18%), inferential comprehension (23%), critical comprehension (23%), and reading–writing integration (17%), with statistical significance (p < 0.05). Thematic analysis further revealed greater emotional engagement, improved vocabulary retention, and a strengthened sense of learner identity. This study provides empirical support for culturally sustaining pedagogical practices and proposes a practical framework for integrating indigenous cultural resources into foreign language education.
