Abstract

This study aims to conduct a Biblical study of the story and background of Ruth becoming a proselite (conversion, culture, and nation). In Ruth chapter 1, it is clear that Naomi's role as her mother-in-law has contributed to Ruth's proselytization process. This is what the author refers to in discussing and developing this research, especially finding patterns of building dialogue in diversity with people of different cultures. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method through the source of books and literature correlates with this research problem.  From this research, it can be concluded that Naomi's lifestyle, communication, and relationship-building approach succeeded in bringing Ruth to convert from a devotee of the god Kamos to a worshiper of the God of Israel.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the Great Commission as Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations from the perspective of missiology, Calvinism, and Arminianism. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the literature study method, using book sources and research articles as a reference for studying the meaning of the great commission in its true sense. The result of this research is the need to communicate the two different views above with the concept of "the future" ( future), which means that both Calvinism and Arminianism both believe that salvation is only in the Lord Jesus Christ; Christ's death was to atone for human sins, so it is for this mission that the church must preach the Gospel to everyone without exception; the task of the church in the world is to carry out evangelism until Maranatha actively. In conclusion, the salvation of mankind is the fruit of the results of evangelism carried out by believers while in the world; thus, the most essential thing for the church is to carry out the Mission of the Great Mandate of Jesus Christ through continuous evangelism and discipleship.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine bdemonically the parable of the tares between the wheat in Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43 in response to the problems of Calvin's doctrine of predestination and reprobation that have been in opposition. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method through the source of books and literature correlates with this research problem. The author also uses the principles of hermeneutics to interpret the biblical text from the original language. From this research, it can be concluded that by connecting the parable of the tares among the wheat in Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43 with the concepts of predestination and reprobation, the answer to the problem of predestination and reprobation is obtained, namely: God's basis for choosing who will be saved is by seed. Whether the man is the seed of wheat (His children), or the seed of tares (the children of the devil). If it is His son, he will be saved. Likewise, if God allows or ordains a person to hell, this is because that person is the seed of the evil one, and indeed the place worthy of him is in hell.

Abstract

Education in remote areas of Indonesia faces significant challenges that hinder access to and the quality of learning. Economic factors, geographical limitations, ineffective school management, low teacher competency, and inadequate infrastructure and external support are the main obstacles to creating an inclusive and sustainable education system. This study aims to analyze the key challenges in rural education in Indonesia and explore policy-based solutions by referencing best practices from other countries. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through document analysis, interviews with educators and policymakers, and field observations in several remote areas. Thematic analysis was used to identify major patterns in educational challenges, which were then compared with education models in Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea. Data triangulation was applied to enhance the validity of findings and ensure that policy recommendations align with local needs. The study's findings indicate that low teacher welfare, a lack of professional training, and the misalignment of the curriculum with local needs are the primary factors impeding the development of education in remote areas. Japan has successfully addressed similar challenges by increasing teacher salaries and providing rigorous training programs. Vietnam has implemented education decentralization to ensure policies are more adaptive to local conditions, while South Korea has leveraged digital technology to expand education access. The implications of this research suggest that Indonesia needs to adopt a more strategic approach to improving education quality in remote areas, including investing in teacher welfare, reforming the curriculum to better suit local contexts, and strengthening technology-based educational infrastructure. This study contributes to the literature on educational disparities in developing countries and provides insights for policymakers to design more effective strategies in achieving Indonesia’s Vision 2045.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Christian education in developing responsible digital literacy among adolescents. In the digital age, where the pervasive use of technology presents both opportunities and challenges, the need for ethical guidance in navigating the online world is crucial. Christian education, with its emphasis on values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy, provides a moral foundation that can help adolescents engage with technology in an ethical manner. Through qualitative research, including in-depth interviews and observations, this study identifies how Christian teachings influence adolescent attitudes toward digital use, highlighting the importance of integrating digital literacy into religious education. The findings suggest that Christian education significantly enhances adolescents' awareness of the ethical implications of their online behaviors, fostering a more responsible approach to technology use. The study concludes with recommendations for strengthening the digital literacy curriculum in Christian educational institutions and for training educators to better guide adolescents in making responsible digital choices. These efforts can contribute to the development of a more ethical and conscientious generation of digital users.
