Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah mahasiswa membutuhkan penanganan dalam upaya menjaga keseimbangan kualitas kelulusan pada perguruan tinggi swasta. Pengelompokan tema tugas akhir mahasiswa di sebuah pendidikan tinggi swasta dengan melihat hasil studi untuk tiap-tiap matakuliah yang diberikan dengan melihat histori nilai tiap-tiap semester untuk matakuliah tertentu diharapkan dapat membantu dalam penyelesaian tugas akhir. Pada penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan metode Neural network dengan struktur Backpropagation untuk melakukan klasifikasi tema tugas akhir di program studi DIII Teknik Komputer Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal dengan evaluation pattern menggunakan aplikasi rapidminer 5.2. Penerapan metode ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil klasifikasi tema tugas akhir dengan BPNN. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bagging pada proses training dapat meningkatkan nilai accuracy dalam mengklasifikasi tema tugas akhir menggunakan algoritma Backpropagation Neural Network. Kata kunci : Klasifikasi, backpropagation, neural network, Bagging.

Abstract

A college is a place for education providers that aim to produce quality human resources and be able to face increasingly fierce work competition. Lecturers become one of the important elements in producing competent human resources. The task of the lecturer is to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes teaching, research and community service. The purpose of this study was to obtain a teaching performance classification of lecturers using the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method as an effort to improve the internal quality assurance system. Where in this learning process planning, implementation, evaluation, control and improvement have been carried out as a form of implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). The data used in this study are data from the questionnaire sheets of lecturers' reaction sheets from students to the teaching of lecturers who support courses. The data used is data for 1 academic year, namely data for the 2017 2018 academic year. The results of this study are that ANFIS is suitable for classifying lecturers' performance.

Abstract

Currently the development of information and communication technology has been approved by the aspects of human life, undeniable in the field of education including the development of mobile technology that presents SmatPhone in various functions that are not only as a means of communication, but also use today's information sources. This creates greater public demand for information on education and encourages Educational Institutions including the Harapan Bersama Tegal Polytechnic to use it as an information media and to register prospective new students based on Android. This study takes the theme "Improving Android-Based PMB Services at the Polytechnic of Harapan Bersama Tegal" with the aim of assisting new students in registering using the SmatPhone device and to assist the Polytechnic of Hope together in processing registration data. Abstract

Village administration is part of the central government whose operations are aimed at rural areas. Village government is led by a village head, which is in charge of organizing the government, implementing community development, and also empowering the village community. Caused by the rush of community problem, a village head must be provided quick and accurate information to handle community problem. This research aimed to build an information system integrated with an SMS gateway to help both of village head and village administration staff to tackle community problem efficiently. The information system built by web-based mail management combined with MySQL database.

Abstract

The need for an IOT approach with the world of education, especially at thevocational level so that students can know the development of technological advances.Because in the world of school or college a lot of time is spent on time-consuming activitiesand eventually deviates from the main purpose of educational institutions, for examplechecking student attendance which must be done several times a day. The existence of IoTwill help this inefficient system. Students' knowledge of IoT needs to be increased, studentsfeel the need to increase the provision of material, so the solution is to increase students'knowledge in mastering IoT and IoT components ranging from sensors, CPUs, embeddeddevice operating systems, networking. Abstract

Dengan menerapkan IoT pada pencatatan kWh meter sistem semi digital, data dapat dicatat secara otomatis dan diketahui secara real-time, sehingga mempercepat proses pencatatan dan meminimalisir resiko kesalahan. Konteks dari situasi PKM ini adalah penggunaan kWh meter sistem semi digital yang akan disampaikan pada siswa SMK Dinamika Kota Tegal di mana cara konvensional yang masih menggunakan cara manual untuk mencatat penggunaan listrik diperlukan pengenalan dan penerapan IoT untuk memudahkan proses pencatatan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan ini memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman kepada siswa jurusan Listrik di SMK Dinamika dalam meciptakan alat yang memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dalam akuisisi kWh meter semi digital. Tahapan dalam PKM persiapan yaitu melakukan survey dan persiapan equipment yang diperlukan, kemudian pada tahap pelaksanaan berupa pemberian materi tentang IoT dan beberapa contoh penerapannya, yang diawali dengan pretest, setelah pemaparan demonstrasi alat penerapan IoT pada kWh meter sistem semi digital dan kemudian diakhiri dengan post test. Hasil dari PKM berdasarkan quisioner result, ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebanyak 10%.

Abstract

The septic tank is a temporary waste disposal site, designed to be closed, there are two holes to drain the reservoir and another hole for evaporation. Septic tanks produce hazardous gases, for example sewer gas, have a pungent odor and are flammable, if the concentration is high, causing poisoning if inhaled, if in a closed room and there is a source of fire, it can trigger an explosion. Therefore, an automation tool is needed as a warning system for the volume of the septic tank and to neutralize the sewer gas level, which has been equipped with solar panels as battery chargers embedded in it. This tool consists of HC-SR04 to measure the remaining volume capacity, MQ2 detects and measures sewer gas levels, a fan to neutralize sewer gas, a buzzer for warning. From the results of this study, the HC-SR04 detects the remaining volume from 28% to 2%, meaning that the volume of the septic tank increases, so the buzzer is active as a notification. Furthermore, MQ2 detects gas concentrations from 2ppm to 64ppm, meaning that the gas concentration increases beyond the safe limit, which is 30ppm, causing the fan to work to neutralize sewer gas levels.

Abstract

This research is a development of previous research, namely the acquisition of kWh meter data impulse system on household electrical energy consumption with Internet of Thing (IoT)-based light sensors, where for home locations that have not been reached by internet providers this certainly has obstacles. So it is proposed to access it using SIM800L. The methodology used with the stages of designing and making, testing, data analysis, evaluation of research results and preparation of research reports. The system is made by utilizing a light sensor (LDR Sensor) to read the light emitted by the LED impulse kWh meter in this case as much as 3200imp / kWh, the number of impulses received by the LDR sensor is then calculated by the microcontroller and then sent to the cloud. The system is expected to display electricity consumption data directly / real time to the internet through SIM800L module.

Abstract

A server room is a space for storing servers and network devices with certain security standards, including temperature regulation. Temperature is a crucial factor because of its influence on the performance of devices, especially electronic devices. Such influences include the performance of components, both semiconductors and capacitors, equipment life i.e. component wear, system reliability both physical and thermal and battery performance. So maintaining an optimal and stable temperature is very important to maintain the performance of electronic equipment. Performance analysis of DHT22 and LM35 sensors is needed to monitor the temperature and humidity of the server room, ensure optimal device performance, and reduce the risk of damage. The purpose of analyzing the performance of DHT22 and LM35 sensors is to compare the performance of the DHT22 sensor with LM35 for the temperature data obtained. The research method used is waterfall, which consists of the planning stage determining the block diagram for the design of the tool, the design of the microcontroller work flowchart to take the temperature with DHT22 and LM35, analyzing the data obtained, and implementation by installing the tool and taking data when running. The analysis results show that the DHT22 sensor is more accurate than the LM35 temperature sensor, where the DHT22 accuracy rate is 94.69% while the LM35 is 71.80%.

Abstract

Drinking water is needed by humans. Most people in Indonesia still use well water as a source of clean water to fulfil their daily needs. With the increase in activity and the development of the times, some people switch to using refill drinking water for their daily drinking needs. The process at drinking water refill depots is generally still carried out using relatively modern equipment, but the process of filling water into gallons is still manual. The operator must press a button to start filling and pay attention to the level of water fullness during the filling process. This is inefficient and can also lead to uncertainty of the volume of water filled in gallons. Automatically, consumers can be disadvantaged because the volume of water entering the gallon is not the same even with the same operator. this certainly has obstacles. So it is proposed to make a system that is able to regulate the volume of water that has been determined. The methodology used with the stages of design and manufacture, testing, data analysis, evaluation of research results and preparation of research reports. The system is made by utilising Outseal PLC as a controller, the volume of water is obtained from the pulse calculation given by the water flow sensor, while the HMI is used as an interface in using the system connected to Outseal PLC via Bluetooth. The test results for 1 litre of water with Wasser Pump PB-60EA average pulse sent as many as 350 pulses and a length of time of 13 seconds while the test results with pump 775 12VDC average pulse sent as many as 307 pulses and a length of time of 20 seconds.
