Abstract

Most of houses in Indonesia are conventionally constructed, so that takes a long time and expensive but have not the strength of earthquake resistant. As an alternative to overcome this, we have performed design of Pre-Fabrication of Sloof Segment, Columns, Beams, Lockbrick Modular Houses Growth Earthquake Resistant, resulting in 3 components (Sloof beams, columns, lockbrick), consists of 12 types. This component can be used to build houses grew gradually until type 27 type 70, the implementation does not require highly skilled carpenters, short construction time, and the price is cheaper than conventional means. Research approach begins with the framework approach of the program, then the method described implementation mechanism of the machine, the production process, proceed with step work machine, and printer engine design that will be created. Activity yield (1) Printing Machinery Segment Sloof, Modular Block (2) Modular Block Sloof Product Segment (3) Test compressive and flexural test product can not be done due to time constraints.

Abstract

The strategy of integrating cultural values in managing human resources in the Ministry of Defense plays a crucial role in increasing organizational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze how cultural values can be integrated into the policy of human resources effectively by considering existing challenges. Using the mixed methods approach, NVivo 12 for qualitative and SEM-PLS 4 analysis to test the variable relationship quantitatively. The results of the NVivo 12 analysis show that the main challenges in the integration of cultural values lie in the sustainability of policies, sanctions, and strengthening regulations. Meanwhile, the SEM-PLS 4 results show that the integration of cultural values in managing human resources is negatively related to the effectiveness of employee performance (O = -0.573, T-statistics = 5.073, p = 0.000). This shows that culture-based policies that are not in harmony with regulations can create ambiguity, reduce discipline, and reduce work motivation. By referring to the two-factor Herzberg and Resource-Based View theories, this research emphasizes the importance of a clear regulatory-based approach in integrating organizational culture. This study fills the previous research gap, which is more focused on the influence of organizational culture in general, by providing specific analysis related to the integration of cultural values in managing human resources in the defense sector.

Abstract

This article discusses the prediction of Indonesian political dynamics in the future after the elimination of the presidential threshold by the Constitutional Court (MK). The method used is a mixture method, a qualitative approach with NVivo 12 software and an analysis of the quantitative approach using SEM PLS-4. Theresults of the study show that politics and democracy significantly affect the National Defense, with a coefficient of 0.468 and a P-value of 0.023, which means a significant effect on the 5% significance level. This indicates that political stability and democracy have a greater role in forming national defense. So the model of strengthening the coalition system in parliament can encourage interparty consensus to maintain government stability, ensure that defense policies continue to run, maintain the neutrality of the TNI, keep the National Police consistent, and commit to state security, and the role of society is still needed to oversee politics and democracy

Abstract

Climate change increases the frequency of disasters, while access to remote areas remains a challenge. In military operations other than war (OMSP), the Army played a role in disaster management. High-mobility troops can be optimized for evacuation, distribution of assistance, and emergency responses that are faster and more effective. Previous research discussed more the role of cavalry in military aspects and state events, while the study of cavalry optimization in non-war operations, especially humanitarian missions and disaster response, is still limited. To fill this gap, this research evaluates the effectiveness of the horsemen in emergency response operations in areas difficult to access. This study uses the Mixed Methods Explanatory Sequential Design approach, qualitative analysis with NVIVO 12, and quantitative uses SEM-PLS 4. NVIVO 12 analysis revealed that the main factors in optimizing horse troops include increasing mobility, accessibility, coordination between agencies, and modernization of equipment and training. SEM-PLS 4 results show that cavalcaded troops have a significant influence on evacuation, distribution of aid, and emergency response that is faster and more effective with the coefficient of pathway 0.529 (T-statistics 3.932; P-value 0.000). This study recommends the integration of cavalry troops, especially cavalry in the national disaster response policy, but the importance of improving infrastructure, modernization of equipment, and special training to increase operational effectiveness.
