Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the socioeconomic status of parents and students' learning motivation in physical education subjects in elementary schools and to identify factors that influence the socioeconomic status of parents and students' learning motivation. The background of this study is based on the influence of socioeconomic status on students' access to learning facilities, especially in PE subjects that involve physical activity.In this study, the researcher used a correlational design with a mixed method research method, a sequential explanatory model with a non-probability sampling approach.. The sample of this study used a proportional stratified random sampling technique consisting of 30 fourth grade students from two elementary schools in Ganeas District, Sumedang Regency, selected according to the geographical location of the sub-district center. Data analysis was carried out using correlation statistical techniques to determine the extent to which the socio-economic status of parents influences students' learning motivation in physical education learning. The results of the study showed that there isthe relationship between the socio-economic status of parents and student learning motivation, although the relationship is not significant. The factors that influence the socio-economic status of parents on the motivation to learn physical education in elementary schools include:the economic conditions of parents in facilitating children's learning activities, social and environmental support, and internal factors within students such as interests and personal motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of arm muscle strength on the ability to throw in football in elementary school students. This study uses a Quantitative method with a Pre-experimental approach and uses a Group Pre-test and Post-test Design research design to determine the differences before and after being given certain treatments. The population in this study was students of SDN Bunter 1 in grades III, IV, and V who participated in extracurricular football, with a sample of 20 people. Data collection techniques used tests and measurements, while data analysis was carried out using t-test statistics. Using a throw test as an instrument in the study. This study found that the average score of the final throw test was higher than the initial test. The conclusion shows that arm muscle strength affects the ability to throw in football in elementary school students at Bunter 1, located in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelatih cabang olahraga seni beladiri dalam menyusun program Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD) berbasis Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Masih rendahnya pemahaman pelatih terhadap prinsip LTAD yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan fisik, mental, dan emosional atlet usia dini menjadi latar belakang kegiatan ini. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan peserta, penyusunan kurikulum pelatihan, penyampaian materi secara interaktif, praktik langsung penyusunan program, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam merancang program latihan yang berorientasi jangka panjang dan sesuai perkembangan usia. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap pendekatan DAP yang dinilai lebih relevan dan aplikatif dalam konteks pembinaan atlet usia muda. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi nyata dalam penguatan kualitas pelatihan seni beladiri melalui pendekatan ilmiah dan berpusat pada kebutuhan perkembangan atlet.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimstodeterminetheeffectofphysicalfitnessonlearningoutcomes in PhysicalEducation, Sports, andHealth (PJOK). The methodused in this study isdescriptivequantitative. The researchsampleconsistedof 40 students, physicalfitness data wasobtainedthroughthe Indonesian PhysicalFitnessTest (TKJI), whilelearningoutcomes were obtainedfromodd semester reportcardscores. StatisticalanalysisusedtheShapiro-WilknormalitytestandtheMann-Whitney U testtoseedifferences in learningoutcomes. Studentswithhighphysicalfitness (12 students) had anaveragelearningscoreof 90.3, whilestudentswithlowfitness (28 students) had anaveragescoreof 85.7. The Mann-Whitney testproduced a significancevalueof 0.034 (p <0.05), whichindicates a significantdifferencebetweenthetwogroups. Thus, itcanbeconcludedthatphysicalfitness has a significanteffecton PJOK learningoutcomes. Studentswithbetterphysicalfitnesslevelstendtobemoreactive, do not tirequickly, and are more optimal in participating in learning, whichultimately has animpactonachievinghighergrades. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of calf raises training on long pass accuracy in soccer games for U-12 players of Blofour FC Club. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design. The study sample consisted of 20 players aged 10–12 years who participated in a calf raises training program for four weeks with a frequency of twice per week (a total of eight meetings). The instrument used was a long pass accuracy test that has been declared valid and reliable. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the average pretest score of 26.90 increased to 35.45 in the posttest, with an average increase of 8.55 points. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a calculated t value of 15.15 with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Based on these results, it can be concluded that calf raises significantly improved long pass accuracy in U-12 soccer players at Blofour FC. Abstract

This research aims to develop digital learning media based on the RENANGKU application as an innovation in physical education learning media to introduce swimming sports material and improve the cognitive understanding of elementary school students. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model which includes the define, design, development, and disseminate stages. In the development process, the media was designed using the Canva application and continued with Smart Apps Creator to produce learning media that is interactive, structured, and suited to the characteristics of elementary school students. The suitability of the learning media was tested through a validation process by material experts, language experts, and media experts. The validation results showed a very good level of suitability, namely 96% from material experts, 98% from language experts, and 84% from media experts, so that the media was declared very suitable for use in learning. Furthermore, trials were conducted in small groups and large groups with feasibility percentages of 85% and 89.8%, respectively. The large-group trial involved 25 elementary school students. The results of media implementation showed an increase in students' cognitive understanding, which can be seen from the improvement in the average score from 74.93% to 77.92%. Based on these findings, the RENANGKU digital learning media has been proven to be feasible, practical, and effective as an alternative physical education learning media for swimming material in elementary schools.

Abstract

The overhead serve is an important technique in volleyball that initiates attacks and creates scoring opportunities. The effectiveness of this technique is influenced by several physical factors, particularly upper-limb muscle strength. Resistance band training was selected for this study because it provides elastic resistance, allowing more flexible, safe, and sport-specific movement patterns than many conventional strength-training methods, making it suitable for youth athletes. This study aimed to examine the effect of overhead serve training using resistance-band media on arm muscle strength in volleyball players at Citra Club. This research employed a quantitative, pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest. The sample consisted of 16 volleyball players aged 10–18 years, selected purposively. Arm muscle strength was measured using a handgrip dynamometer as an indicator of general upper-limb muscular strength during physical fitness assessment. The training program consisted of 10 sessions over five weeks. The results showed that the average arm muscle strength increased from the pretest to the posttest. The normality test using the Normal Probability–Probability Plot (P–P Plot) indicated that the residuals were normally distributed, as the points followed a diagonal pattern. In addition, the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) analysis yielded an average value of 0.0604, indicating that the training program produced a moderate improvement in players' arm muscle strength. These findings indicate that overhead serve training using resistance band media can improve arm muscle strength in youth volleyball athletes and can serve as an alternative training method in volleyball coaching programs.
