Abstract

In the era of globalization, English has become an international language used in almost all aspects of life, connecting individuals and conveying information globally. Many schools have emerged for children aged 2-6 years, with various adequate facilities that support the development of children's sensory motor skills and bilingual or trilingual languages of instruction used in class as communication support. Physical and psychosocial development is needed at the kindergarten stage, including intellectual, language, motor, and social-emotional development. In addition, mastery of the English vocabulary taught will support growth at the next level. More extra socialization is needed in learning, especially introducing English vocabulary. The method used in this activity is a silent way, which has several steps, namely socialization, demonstration, and practice with media and evaluation. The result of this activity can be seen from the graph showing an increase in participants' English vocabulary skills. Of the total students of PAUD Al-Assrye Bogor in class TK A, there are 15 people. In the initial percentage before this socialization activity occurred, only around 26,7%, namely four students, understood English vocabulary about parts of body. Then, 73,3% namely eleven students, not understood English vocabulary about parts of body. Then, after this activity, the percentage results increased to 66,7%, namely ten students who understood English vocabulary about parts of body. Then, 33,3%, namely five students who only confused English vocabulary about parts of body. The data shows that 40% of students experienced an increase in their ability to understand the English vocabulary taught. So, the kindergarteners at PAUD Al-Assrye, Bogor, experienced increased English vocabulary knowledge that can be used for further education levels by using learning media, namely cartoon posters. It is because the cartoon posters used have various colours that attract students' attention and concentration so that students can focus on the media provided.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di pesantren memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di Madrasah Aliyah yang berlokasi di pesantren di Bogor, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 26 siswa dari kelas ilmu sosial sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan terkait minat dan persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat antusiasme dan hambatan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% siswa menunjukkan antusiasme terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, sementara 15% lainnya kurang tertarik, terutama karena tantangan dalam memahami materi. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru bahasa Inggris dan pengelola pendidikan di pesantren untuk mengadopsi strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children in Indonesia continue to increase; the targets are children, who are still vulnerable because they are considered weak and dependent on adults. Lack of knowledge about sexual violence is also the reason they become victims of violence and sexual harassment. In Bogor Regency, 173 cases of sexual violence against children were reported. The violence that occurred included verbal, psychological, and physical violence, with some of the most severe cases causing broken bones. The goal is to reduce sexual violence by providing knowledge about body anatomy, touch limits, and how to prevent sexual harassment. This sexual psychoeducation is carried out using the presentation method. There are three stages carried out, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of this activity show that there has been an increase in awareness, in grade 5 of elementary school; there are 15 male and 16 female students. Before this activity, only 14% of male students (2 children) and 16% of female students (3 children) knew a little about it. However, this activity increased to 94% of male students (14 children), and 100% of female students (16 children). Then, in grade 6 of elementary school, there are 30 male and 24 female students. Before this activity, only 50% of male students (15 children) and 60% of female students (14 children) knew a little about it. However, this activity increased to 98% of male students (29 children), and 100% of female students (24 children). So, the students can recognize the anatomy of the reproductive organs and know about sex education and efforts to prevent sexual harassment.

Abstract

Pada era milenial, penjualan Smartphone semakin marak. Bisnis jaul-beli Smartphone sangat menjanjikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari berbagai sudut dan perspektif. Persaingan Brand Image dari berbagai Smartphone semakin sengit, sehingga setiap perusahaan harus dapat melakukan inovasi terbaru dari produk yang dihasilkannya. Smartphone pada saat ini ialah menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat. Banyak sekali yang tidak jarang msyarakat memilih merk dengan mempertimbangkan buget dan kualitas yang didapat. Gaya hidup masyarakat inilah yang dapat mempengaruhi sebuah Brand Image terhadap keputusan pembelian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuanlitatif, di mana penelitian kualitatif ini membutuhkan wawancara. Responden diambil dengan metode nonprobability menggunakan teknik quota sampling sebanyak 40 orang mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia. Variabel diukur dengan dimensi keterjangkauan harga dan keesuaian kualitas yang ditawarkan. Temuan hasil penelitian memperlihatkan hasil Brand Image pada Smartphone merk VIVO/ OPPO berada pada posisi yang paling banyak diminati. Hal berarti bahwa para responden menganggap bahwa Smartphone yang memiliki kualitas yang cukup baik dengan buget yang terjangkau. Hasil perhitungan memperlihatkan bahwa Brand Image memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Technology in communication has a role as academic support. It is due to the need to have knowledge and information from the right sources, which is prioritized. Technological developments have an impact on the existence of a relationship in communication between humans that allows each other to take place without being limited by distance, space, and time. Various communication functions have been incorporated into communication tools, namely Smartphones. Smartphones are Smartphones that have been developed with advanced technology in today's modern era. Its ability to innovate starting from features, usability and resolution is integrated into its operating system. The presence of this Smartphone provides many benefits and conveniences for consumers, especially students. The use of Smartphones also depends on the consumers who use them. Students find it helpful to have a Smartphone in finding information and increase knowledge, as well as supporting activities in lectures. The qualitative method is the method used in this study which requires interviews from respondents using a quota sampling technique as many as 35 people who are students of the History of Islamic Civilization Study Program at the Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia. The variable is taken from the activities of students who often use their Smartphones in lecture activities, especially in class. The results of this study indicate that the respondents consider Smartphone is a primary need that must be owned in this modern era, without a Smartphone, students can think that they will be left behind with the various information needed.

Abstract

Pinjaman online merupakan jasa layanan digital keuangan oleh penyedia jasa keuangan yang biasa dikenal dengan fintech, yang mana sekarang biasanya berupa aplikasi. Pinjaman online memudahkan masyarakat termasuk buruh pabrik yang ingin meminjam uang secara online tanpa pengajuan syarat yang ribet dan tanpa tatap muka. Layanan ini sangat memiliki pengaruh terhadap kebutuhan dan gaya hidup konsumtif buruh pabrik. Hanya dengan memiliki aplikasi pinjaman online, uang bisa langsung cair. Aplikasi pinjaman online ini memudahkan setiap buruh pabrik yang ingin meminjam uang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan gaya hidup konsumtif. Pembayaran pengembalian pinjamannya pun tergolong mudah karena bisa dengan cara mencicil dengan jumlah bunga tertentu, tergantung jangka waktu yang dipilih. Metode kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi pada literature study dan sumber internet lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini meunjukkan bahwa bahwa pinjaman online memiliki pengaruh terhadap kebutuhan dan gaya hidup konsumtif buruh pabrik. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak aplikasi pinjaman online yang membantu terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dan gaya hidup konsumtif buruh pabrik.

Abstract

The microlearning approach will be combined with the use of social media platforms, namely TikTok videos, in English language learning. Microlearning is a learner-centered approach that offers short, focused learning units with interactive multimedia accessible across multiple devices. Research using the microlearning approach aims to make English learning in the classroom more flexible and effective in delivering learning materials because it can convey content in the smallest parts for easy understanding. The study will use a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, filling out pre-tests and post-tests, and documentation. The results of study indicate that the dominant micro skills are speaking (43%), writing (24%), listening (18%), and reading (15%). On the other hand, the second pie chart reveals that macro skills mainly focus on speaking (68%), with a smaller percentage in writing (13%), listening (13%), and reading only (6%). Thus, by combining innovative approaches such as microlearning and leveraging the popularity of social media platforms, educators can create interactive and engaging learning experiences for learners. The combination of microlearning, social media platforms, and English language teaching can offer valuable opportunities for learners to improve their language skills in a fun and interactive way. As technology advances in education, implementing these approaches can result in a more effective and dynamic language learning experience.
