Abstract

In the current digital era, technological advancements are progressingrapidly and offer significant opportunities for preachers to disseminatetheir messages. The purpose of this article is to analyze strategies fordelivering Islamic da'wah through digital media. These strategiesinclude first, da'wah through graphic design; second, da'w ah throughwebsites; and third, da'wah through podcasts. Additionally, this articleaddresses the opportunities and challenges of da'wah in the digital age,including political factors, emotional support, spiritual intelligence, andthe importance of mental health from a religious perspective. Theresearch method employed in this article is library research. This workaims to assist preachers in continuously innovating their methods ofcommunication, ensuring they remain relevant in an increasinglysophisticated modern world.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the problems of online journalism on CNN in presenting controversial news in modern society. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach using content analysis methods. Data were collected through documentation of controversial news published by CNN on its digital platform. The analysis results indicate that several news articles tend to emphasize aspects of conflict, sensationalism, and social tension, all framed within specific narrative structures. The main findings of this study reveal the influence of political, economic, and digital algorithmic pressures in the news production process, which lead to biased representation, distortion of facts, and a weakening of the principle of balance. These conditions reflect serious challenges for ethical journalism in the digital information era. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji problematika jurnalisme media online CNN dalam menyajikan berita kontroversial di masyarakat modern. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi berita-berita kontroversial yang dipublikasikan oleh CNN dalam platform digitalnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa berita cenderung menonjolkan aspek konflik, sensasi, dan ketegangan sosial yang disajikan dalam bingkai narasi tertentu. Temuan utama penelitian ini mengungkap adanya pengaruh tekanan politik, ekonomi, dan algoritma digital dalam proses produksi berita, yang berdampak pada bias representasi, pengaburan fakta, serta lemahnya prinsip keberimbangan. Kondisi ini mencerminkan tantangan serius bagi jurnalisme etis dalam era informasi digital.

Abstract

This community service program aims to explore and enhance digital literacy among students from madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools, specifically those at MAN 1 Majene, DDI Baruga, Hasan Yamani Islamic Boarding School, and MAN 1 Polewali. In addition to improving digital competencies, this initiative also seeks to reinforce students’ understanding of religious moderation grounded in the local wisdom of Malaqbiq values. The program was implemented through a combination of counseling, workshops, and practical training. The first stage involved counseling sessions on digital literacy and the concept of religious moderation. The second stage continued with a workshop focusing on the use of visual communication tools through social media. The final stage consisted of mentoring sessions guiding students through the planning, production, and editing of digital content that promotes moderate religious messages. The results demonstrated significant improvements in students’ digital literacy and a deeper understanding of religious moderation rooted in cultural values. Participants were able to produce and disseminate content promoting tolerant religious perspectives across various digital platforms. By integrating local cultural values with modern digital media, this community engagement initiative offers a comprehensive and contextualized approach to strengthening youth involvement in religious discourse. This model is expected to serve as an inspiration for similar programs in other educational settings.
