Abstract

This research discusses how learning in Islam started from the time of the Prophet to the time of classical and modern ulama. This article explores the nature of learning in the Islamic context from a historical perspective, focusing on the role of the Prophet as the main learning model and the expansion of the legacy of knowledge through classical and modern scholars. Exploring the nature of learning in Islam provides a deep understanding of how religious values ​​and knowledge can complement each other. By analyzing the journey of learning from the Prophet to classical and modern scholars, it can be understood that an inclusive approach to learning is the key to maintaining the relevance of Islamic teachings in various eras. The literature study research method is a relevant approach in tracing the nature of learning in Islam from the time of the Prophet to the era of classical and modern ulama. In this method, researchers examine and analyze various literary sources which include literary works, scholarly writings, history and philosophical views that have existed throughout Islamic history. As for the results of this research, it can be seen that since the time of the Prophet, education has been the main focus in Islam, with teaching and learning considered the main way to understand and appreciate religious teachings. Classical scholars such as Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina played a key role in formulating an educational framework that combined science with Islamic values. They established a strong foundation for learning in the Islamic tradition. In the modern era, Islamic scholars and scholars continue to try to reinterpret the concept of learning in the current context, trying to bridge the gap between traditional values ​​and the demands of the modern world.

Abstract

In the educational context, professional teachers are needed to develop the quality of education for students. Teacher professionalism is the main key to the success of improving the quality of education. Professional teachers are not only required to be able to convey information to students, but are also required to plan, manage, diagnose and assess the process of teaching and learning outcomes. This research aims to examine what professionalism means, what are the characteristics of professional teachers and what are the steps to becoming professional. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a type of library research. Researchers obtain data from books, journals, articles and others related to the theme or title being discussed.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk individu Muslim yang berdaya, berintegritas, dan berkontribusi positif pada masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas urgensi pendidikan Islam yang bersifat transformatif dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan Islam saat ini. Pendekatan ini mencakup analisis mendalam terhadap peran empat aspek utama dalam pendidikan Islam: jasmani, rohani, akademik, dan sosial. Melalui tinjauan literatur yang mendalam, artikel ini menjelaskan mengapa pendidikan Islam yang transformatif sangat diperlukan. Pendidikan jasmani memberikan dasar bagi kesejahteraan fisik dan kesehatan individu Muslim. Pendidikan rohani membangun nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual yang kuat. Pendidikan akademik menciptakan landasan ilmiah yang kokoh, sementara pendidikan sosial mempromosikan interaksi yang harmonis dalam masyarakat. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi aspek-aspek jasmani, rohani, akademik, dan sosial dalam pendidikan Islam adalah langkah penting dalam membangun generasi Muslim yang mampu menghadapi tantangan zaman. Pendidikan Islam yang bersifat transformatif dapat memberikan landasan kuat untuk pengembangan individu Muslim yang berperan aktif dalam membangun masyarakat yang adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Globalization has driven profound changes in educational curricula. A more inclusive and globally oriented approach is becoming a major trend. The Islamic education curriculum is not immune from these changes. There are efforts to integrate Islamic educational materials with a broader understanding of the world and global culture. In some cases, Islamic education curricula adopt a more progressive approach with a focus on critical thinking skills, foreign languages, and digital literacy. Globalization has introduced various new learning approaches and methods. Traditional Islamic education, which often consists of rote memorization and reproduction of sacred texts, faces pressure to adopt an approach more oriented towards understanding social and global contexts. Globalization has opened access to international educational resources through technology. This allows Islamic students and teachers to access new information and knowledge more easily, which can change the way Islamic education is taught and studied.

Abstract

Tujuan Penilaian berbasis kelas untuk mengetahui perkembangan, kemajuan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI PIAT Tanjung Seteko dengan cara mendiagnosis kelemahan belajar siswa di kelas, memberikan umpan balik atau perbaikan proses pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk mengukur sampai mana kemampuan siswa dalam merefleksi serta mengkonstruksi karya atau tugas dengan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan yang sesuai dengan pemahaman tujuan dan keinginan siswa Kelas IV MI PIAT Tanjung Seteko, sehingga guru dapat mengevaluasi dan mengomentari hasil konstruksi tersebut dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan penilaian berbasis kelas dan portofolio dapat mengukur sejauh mana siswa telah menyelesaikan pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan penilaian berbasis kelas dan portofolio Kelas IV MI PIAT Tanjung Seteko mata pelajaran Al Qur an Hadist. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kelas IV MI PIAT Tanjung Seteko sudah menerapkan penilaian berbasis kelas dalam pembelajaran Al Qur an Hadist yang terdiri dari tes tertulis, penugasan, penilaian sikap dan portofolio. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari rata-rata siswa kelas IV MI PIAT Tanjung Seteko mata pelajaran Al Qur an Hadist.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of social empowerment and environmental preservation. This research is motivated by the need for an educational approach that is not only religious but also capable of driving fair and sustainable social transformation. This study aims to analyze how Islamic education, especially through institutions such as Islamic boarding schools and madrasas, integrates sustainability values into curricula and daily practices. The method employed is qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical approach, examining various Islamic educational practices that align with the principles of the SDGs. The results show that Islamic values such as maslahah 'ammah (public benefit), justice, and the role of humans as khalifah (stewards) strongly support the foundations of sustainable development. Islamic educational institutions have been actively engaged in social, economic, and environmental activities, including skills training, Islamic entrepreneurship, reforestation programs, and waste management. Although challenges remain—such as limited resources and teacher training—Islamic education holds great potential to foster self-reliant and environmentally conscious communities. Through curriculum strengthening, continuous teacher development, and cross-sector collaboration, Islamic education can serve as a powerful driver of change toward a more just and sustainable future.

Abstract

The era of globalization will influence social, cultural, political developments and including Islamic education, both now and in the future. The era of globalization is marked by advances in Science and Technology (IPTEK) so that Islamic Religious Education must prepare students with 21st century skills. Globalization in the field of education has an impact on Islamic educational traditions, where the Islamic Religious Education curriculum generally studies religious knowledge, especially the study of yellow books (classics) regarding fiqh, monotheism, Sufism and nahwu nervous. The Islamic education curriculum essentially prioritizes values, human potential as the Khalifah of Allah SWT, unity, religion, self-development, at least individual self-development or the values ​​of life in society. To prepare students to face the era of globalization, curriculum development is needed, namely developing curriculum components. The aim of this research is to determine the era of globalization of education, the influence of globalization on Islamic educational traditions and curriculum development to face the era of globalization. The research method used is library research. From this research, it is clear that globalization has had a big influence on Islamic educational traditions, so all curriculum components must be developed to face the era of globalization which is related to 21st century life skills and the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Democratization in Islamic education is an approach that emphasizes democratic principles to achieve an inclusive and fair education system in accordance with Islamic teachings. This concept involves the active participation of all members of the educational community, ensuring inclusivity, and developing students' skills. In this abstract, we will explain the essence of the democratization of education in Islam and its impact on the development of a generation that has morals and makes positive contributions to society. The democratization of education in Islam includes the development of leadership skills and values. Islam teaches the values ​​of fair and responsible leadership. Therefore, a democratic education system in an Islamic context must pay special attention to the formation of students' character and leadership, so that they can contribute positively to society. Democratization of education in Islam is not just the implementation of the concept of democracy in educational practice, but also reflects Islamic values ​​that encourage justice, equality and active participation. By understanding and applying these principles, Islamic education can be a means of producing a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has noble character and is able to play an active role in building a just and harmonious society.

Abstract

Tripusat pendidikan juga diperlukan agar terjalin kerja sama yang baik serta harmonisasi dan sinkronisasi untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang baik pula. Tripusat pendidikan itu terdiri atas sekolah (guru, kepala sekolah, siswa), keluarga (orang tua/wali murid), dan masyarakat (komite sekolah, organisasi profesi). Peserta didik yang datang ke sekolah memiliki latar belakang yang sangat beragam dan komplek, sehingga dalam pendekatan edukasinya juga haruslah memandang dari sisi heterogen. Keragaman itu muncul dari kondisi keluarga dengan berbagai permasalahannya, ekonomi, keharmonisan keluarga, begitu juga peserta didik berasal dari lingkungan sosial tempat bergaul yang menganut nilai-nilai sosial yang berbeda. Ketika komunikasi tidak tersambung baik maka akn terjadi mis komunikasi yang akan memunculkan interpretasi yang berbeda dan cenderung untuk melakukan tindakan kekerasan. Oleh karena itulah, komunikasi yang terbangun dengan baik bersama tri pusat pendidikan guru, kepala sekolah, peserta didik, orang tua/wali murid adalah solusi utama untuk berbagi tanggung jawab dan beban dalam pendidikan. Karena hakikatnya pendidikan itu bukan hanya tanggung jawab guru dan kepala sekolah saja. Kekerasan terjadi di sekolah karena tidak tersambungnya komunikasi antara guru dengan siswa, komunikasi guru dengan orang tua siswa, komunikasi siswa dengan orang tua siswa, komunikasi guru dengan organisasi di sekolah.
