Abstract

The Covid-19 vaccination policy was implemented by the central government in the hope of stopping the spread of the virus related to Covid-19, as was the case with the Jambi City government, but in its implementation there were still many people who had not been vaccinated. Those who choose not to be vaccinated do so for various reasons, especially concerns about the contents and safety of the Covid-19 vaccine for their bodies. Vaccines are one of the most important solutions in warding off the Covid-19 virus, so socialization must be continuously carried out through various efforts, including the involvement of opinion leaders to approach and understand the community through the role of participatory communication. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of participatory communication from opinion leaders in supporting the acceleration of Covid-19 vaccination in the Lebak Bandung Village, Jambi City. This research departs from the theory of participatory communication, and the type of research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. There were 5 informants in the study, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of participatory communication Opinion leaders in supporting the co-19 vaccination policy program is carried out through several stages, namely; First, understand the target audience for communication by empathizing and appreciating the audience's attitude towards vaccines. Second, managing or compiling messages about the covid-19 vaccine in language that is easy to understand while still guided by government information or appeals. When, the stages of the communication process are carried out persuasively and interactively. Fourth, choose communication channels and media according to their function in the public.

Abstract

Batik ecoprint halal merupakan salah satu bentuk kreativitas lokal yang memiliki potensi besar dalam penguatan ekonomi kreatif syariah. Namun, pengrajin di Koperasi Kajang Lako Kota Jambi masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam diversifikasi produk dan strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan diversifikasi produk batik ecoprint halal berbasis kearifan lokal, sekaligus meningkatkan kapasitas pengrajin dalam pengelolaan ekonomi kreatif syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan, pendampingan desain dan pewarnaan alami, serta bimbingan strategi pemasaran digital. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pengrajin, dan evaluasi produk yang dihasilkan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas pengrajin dalam menghasilkan motif baru, penguasaan teknik pewarnaan alami, serta pemahaman tentang pemasaran berbasis syariah. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai tambah dari sisi estetika, kehalalan, dan kearifan lokal, sehingga lebih menarik bagi konsumen yang sadar syariah. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan batik ecoprint halal berbasis kearifan lokal tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan pendapatan pengrajin, tetapi juga memperkuat peran ekonomi kreatif syariah di Kota Jambi. Temuan ini memberikan dasar penting bagi pengembangan usaha kreatif berkelanjutan yang mengintegrasikan budaya lokal, prinsip halal, dan inovasi pemasaran.

Abstract

This study develops and evaluates a constructivism-based learning model aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes. Grounded in the philosophy that knowledge is actively constructed by learners, this model engages students through meaningful activities fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Employing a research and development (R&D) approach with ADDIE phases (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), the model was tested across multiple schools with quantitative pretest-posttest and qualitative observations. Results demonstrated significant improvements in cognitive achievement, motivation, and active participation, with students showing deeper understanding and problem-solving skills. The study confirms constructivist strategies’ effectiveness in diverse educational contexts and highlights the crucial role of teachers as facilitators. Recommendations include integrating digital tools and extending implementation to higher education levels. Overall, this research underscores the potential of constructivism-based learning models to transform education by fostering active, learner-centered environments that improve academic success and lifelong learning skills.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the thesis supervision process for students in the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University (UIN) Jambi. Employing a qualitative approach, the study involved in-depth interviews with 10 students who were actively completing their undergraduate theses during the 2025/2026 academic year and five thesis supervisors. The findings indicate that the integration of AI provides various benefits, including increased efficiency, more personalized guidance, and improved accessibility to academic references. Students reported that AI accelerated the thesis revision process by providing real-time feedback and recommendations for relevant literature. Meanwhile, lecturers experienced a reduced administrative workload through the automation of routine tasks, allowing them to focus more on providing guidance on conceptual and methodological aspects. The recommendations emphasize the importance of institutional policies to enhance technology training and develop digital infrastructure for academic staff and students. Thus, AI can be effectively integrated to support the thesis supervision process and help students achieve their academic potential more optimally. The main limitation of this study lies in its limited sample size, which prevents the findings from being statistically generalized. In addition, the findings reflect a specific phase of generative AI adoption that may change in response to the rapid evolution of the technology.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam proses pembimbingan skripsi bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam terhadap 10 mahasiswa yang sedang aktif menyelesaikan tugas akhir pada tahun akademik 2025/2026 serta lima dosen pembimbing. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI memberikan berbagai manfaat, seperti peningkatan efisiensi, bimbingan yang lebih personal, dan aksesibilitas yang lebih baik terhadap referensi akademik. Mahasiswa melaporkan bahwa AI mempercepat proses revisi skripsi dengan memberikan umpan balik secara real-time dan rekomendasi literatur yang relevan. Sementara itu, dosen merasakan berkurangnya beban kerja administratif berkat otomatisasi tugas-tugas rutin, sehingga mereka dapat lebih fokus pada pemberian arahan terkait aspek konseptual dan metodologis. Rekomendasi yang diajukan menekankan pentingnya kebijakan institusional untuk meningkatkan pelatihan teknologi serta mengembangkan infrastruktur digital bagi staf akademik dan mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, AI dapat diintegrasikan secara efektif untuk mendukung proses pembimbingan skripsi dan membantu mahasiswa mencapai potensi akademik mereka secara optimal. Keterbatasan utama studi ini terletak pada cakupan sampel yang terbatas, sehingga temuan ini tidak dapat digeneralisasi secara statistik Selain itu, temuan mencerminkan fase tertentu adopsi AI generatif yang berpotensi berubah seiring laju evolusi teknologi.
