Abstract

Pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus paralyzed many sectors of activities in the community, including thetourism sector so that a strategy to promote tourism through virtual travel is needed. Traveling is difficultto do because of restrictions on activities carried out by the government, in order to reduce the rate of spreadof this disease. People are forced to be quiet and work indoors, although some types of jobs are still allowedto move. Staying indoors and not being able to travel can certainly cause its own stress. On social media later,one of them, appeared various services that offer virtual tourism services, including those held by theMinistry of Tourism. This service invites participants to travel together through various online media,provided by a guide who will lead the course of the activity, just as is commonly done in the real world. Thispromotional strategy is expected to be able to; 1) increase tourist interest in virtual traveling, 2) the creationof digital tourism for the future, 3) ease of travel, 4) Emphasis on travel costs, 5) the sustainability of virtualtraveling. The purpose of this study was to look at the promotional strategies carried out by Kemenparekrafand Traveloka, as well as review the effectiveness of the virtual travel service. To be able to answer theproblem, quantitative research methods are used by distributing questionnaires to a number of eightystudents. The results of this study can be used to assess the effectiveness of virtual tourism and its possiblefuture development.Keywords : Virtual Travelling, Promotional Strategies, Social Media

Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential of coastal tourism at the Open Beach of Denpasar City. Denpasar City isadministratively divided into 4 sub-districts from west to east, namely West Denpasar District, East Denpasar District, NorthDenpasar District, and South Denpasar District. One of the coastal tourism in Denpasar City is located in the Open BeachRecreation Area which stretches on the coast of Sanur Kaja Village to Sanur Kauh Village, where the Sanur village community hasmanaged natural resources by paying attention to environmental balance and harmony.This study applies the Principles of Sustainable Coastal Tourism which are described as follows: 1. The Principle ofBalance Tourism management must be based on a commitment to a balanced pattern between economic development, socioculture,and conservation, 2. The Principle of Community Participation Involving the community in the management of tourismbusinesses, 3. Principles of Conservation Have concern, responsibility, and commitment to environmental conservation (nature andculture), 4. Principles of Integrated Management pay attention to ecosystem conditions and synergize with the development ofvarious sectors, 5. Abstract

The condition of Bali tourism during the Covid-19 pandemic has become very concerning, on the one hand, the need fortravel is very high but cannot be balanced with the fact of the opening and closing of tourist destinations. Some of thetourist destinations that were closed were used as an opportunity for managers to renovate managed tourist destinationsto comply with CHSE standards. The current conditions have also provided new lessons for managers and touristsregarding the safety of traveling during a pandemic. Special interest tourism such as educational tours is currently indemand by family tourists who want to spend time with family and learn about the culture of local people. Bali ChocolateVillage is Chocolate Village is a new tourist destination in Bali since October 2020. It is located in Cau Village, MargaDistrict, Tabanan Regency. The founder of Chocolate Village is Dr. Ir. I Wayan Alit Artha Wiguna, M.Si. who built the touristattraction of Chocolate Village. Chocolate Village began to be known for educational tours that can provide insight forchild tourists about how the process of growing chocolate fruit to the process of making it. Chocolate Village is a favoritedestination today by local tourists and residents. The founder of Chocolate Village is I Wayan Alit Artha Wiguna who wantsto provide new educational tours for child tourists to learn new lessons about the chocolate-making process and educatetourists so that they get to know the chocolate tree which is one of the plantation plants in Indonesia. This child-friendlytourism-based educational tour is expected to: 1) Become a pilot for child-friendly tourist attractions. 2) Promote childfriendlybased educational tourism in every attraction of educational tours. 3) There is a change in the perspective ofvisitors related to the benefits of educational tourism activities.The formulation of the problems to be raised is 1) The potential of Bali Chocolate Village as a child-friendly tourismbasededucational tour 2) the existing condition of Bali Chocolate Village as a tour Child-Friendly Travel-Based EducationData were collected by observation, in-depth interviews, dissemination of questionnaires, literature studies, anddocumentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative and SWOT. The results of the identificationof educational tourism are expected to be able to provide new knowledge in traveling, educational tourism activities canstimulate interest and creativity in children, increase children's motivation Amid a period of school saturation from home,increase the attitude of respect and care for the tourist destinations visited such as natural tourism by protecting theenvironment and forming closeness between families.Keywords: Bali Chocolate Village, Child-Friendly Tourism, Educational Tourism

Abstract

To develop a village into a well develop tourism village need a good quality of human resources. Empowerment is one of the best solutions to make local people join in the process of tourism activities. As a tourism village, Undisan need to have support from local people to make the village flourist. To give the best service and to make Undisan to next level people need to be educated about tourism. The purpose of this research’s to identified empower local communities in Undisan Tourism Village. Primary data sources and secondary data sources were used this study. To collect the data for this research were using three techniques. Purposive sampling technique is used to choose the informants. To analyse the data using qualitative analysis data. To help in analyzing data in this research using concept empowerment, local communities, rural tourism. The conclusion from this research is Undisan village already have good empowerment for local people. Eventhought already raach the third stage, all stage was not fully operational. Abstract

This research aims to discover the socio-economic contribution of Melasti Beach to the local community of Ungasan Village. This research was conducted at Melasti Beach, Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. The scopes of this research are the involvement of the local community and the socio-economic contribution. Data collection techniques used in this research included observation, interview, and documentary methods. The technique of informant determination used is purposive sampling. A descriptive qualitative method is used to analyze the data. The stages of data analysis commenced with data collection, subsequently data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The study uncovered that the presence of Melasti Beach results in various benefits to the socioeconomic life of the local community in Ungasan Village. Melasti Beach contributes to the local community by providing new job dan business opportunities, increasing income, escalating locals’ prosperity, and family education investment. To maximize the socio-economic contribution of Melasti Beach, the management is required to intensify local community involvement by striving to vary more job and business opportunitiesfor the locals in every possible way.
