Study of the Pre-existence of Christ According to the Jehovah’s Witnesses Exson Pane

One of the foundational teaching in the history of Christianity is the existence of Christ. Mostly Christians believed that Christ already exist prior His incarnation. Jesus was with the Father, and Holy Spirit. They are co-exist , no beginning and no end, they are eternal from eternity to eternity. However, Arianism rejected the traditional view of the Christianity regarding Christ existence. The Arianism’s view regarding the pre-existence of Christ admired by the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jehovah’s Witnesses believed that was exist prior to His incarnation but not co-exist with the Father. Christ is only begotten son of the Father as the first creation and Father endowed Christ the divinity.

Eksistensi Yesus merefleksikan kontribusi yang kaya namun di sertai juga dengan konflik-konflik. KepemimpinanNya adalah tema utama beberapa tahun terakhir ini sebagai respons terhadap transformasi dari periode konvensional ke digital yang mempengaruhi, khususnya, dimensi publik secara keseluruhan. Namun, kepemimpinan menerima atensi karena peran dan fungsinya perlu beradaptasi dengan peradaban saat ini, era digital. Itulah sebabnya, artikel ini mencoba mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Yesus yang dapat menjadi alternatif untuk kontribusi yang konstruktif di era digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitan ini mengkonstruksikan teori dan kebaharuan berdasarkan literatur-literatur seperti; buku-buku, artikel-artikel, dan sumber akademik lainnya yang saling berhubungan. Pada akhirnya, era digital telah menggeser dan mentransformasi berbagai dimensi sosial, termasuk dalam konteks berorganisasi dengan sistem hirarki dan kepemimpinannya. Model kepemimpinan di lingkungan gereja harus terus mengantisipasi berbagai kemungkinan yang terjadi. Pola kepemimpinan Yesus dengan spiritualitas yang tinggi dan model kepemimpinan hamba menjadi alternatif yang kontributif bagi peradaban digital. Spiritualitas dan pelayanan hamba Yesus adalah objek diskusi yang menawarkan probabilitas bagi era digital. Tentu saja, kepemimpinan Yesus masih relevan dan signifikan untuk saat ini.

Religious Movement of Movement of Ugamo Malim in Batak Land-Indonesia Exson Pane; Freddy Manurung

Religious movements developed during the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia. One of the religious movements, Ugamo Malim, emerged in Batak land, North Sumatra, Indonesia.One of the reasons behind the religious movement in Indonesia during colonialism was to revive the holy king among the people to fight colonialism. However, the movement of Ugamo Malim was not ended after independence but continually recently. Therefore, this research tries to clarify the purpose of the establishment of the Ugamo Malim movement in Batak lands and the important things that we can learn from this movement as Christians. In order to get the clarification of this movement the author uses qualitative research by using documentary research analysis of Batak’s literature regarding the movement of Ugamo Malim and compare it to the Biblical principles. As the result the study found that before the colonialism Ugama Malim was existed as the way to have a pure life, however when colonialist came the purpose of this movement became formed as a movement in against the colonization and their religion which was brought to Batak Land. For today, the purpose of Ugamo Malim is to conserve the Batak’s culture, ceremonies, and practices in Batak’s Land. Although Ugamo Malim and Biblical principles is different, however there are several similarities in beliefs and practices such as worship God as they called “Mula Jadi Nabolon” (the creator), the day of worship is Saturday, forbidden eating blood and several unclean food as written in the Leviticus 11. Therefore, the main purpose of the movement of Ugamo Malim was to reach the pure life but it developed due to the coming of colonialism and modernity.

Interfaith marriage is a scourge that cannot be avoided at this time. Many couples have already been married to people who are not of the same religion as them, which in the end have to face many risks as a result of interfaith marriages. This is a special concern for the Seventh-day Adventist Church because the consequences of interfaith marriages will be able to affect the happiness of the family and the growth of the faith of the couple themselves. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview and understanding to church members on the importance of pastoral counseling for married couples of different religions in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In this study, the method used was qualitative followed by literature study, by collecting data through books and articles related to pastoral counseling. The results of this study indicate that pastoral counseling is a method that can help church members to be able to cope with stress levels and the risk of unhappiness in domestic life, and can also help young couples who are still dating different religions to understand and understand the risks that will occur when they are married. proceed to marriage. Until finally they can choose and get out of the problems they face.

Suku Batak adalah salah satu suku bangsa besar di Indonesia dan memiliki tradisi "Mangokal Holi". Tradisi ini berasal dari budaya pra-Kristen Batak. Terdapat perbedaan pandangan antara masyarakat Adat dan masyarakat Kristen tentang upacara tradisi Mangokal Holi. Masyarakat Adat menilai bahwa masyarakat Kristen sering menghakimi mereka karena menganggap upacara ini sebagai penyembahan berhala dan memiliki unsur-unsur magis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menjelaskan sinergi budaya Mangokal Holi dengan Taurat dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif.

Throughout its history, quality management has been an important factor in the success of an organization, both in the business world and in the world of education, government, politics, health and religion. There are many leaders in this world, but there are not many leaders who are good and have character. To have a model for the character of a leader we can find in the Bible and antecedents dedicated to the larger community. The purpose of this study is for every leader and prospective leader to emulate biblical figures and their predecessors so that their leadership is ultimately successful. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods through literature analysis and observations related to leadership character and performance. To become a leader with achievement and character, the leader can imitate the leadership model of the Bible and secular world leaders who have proven their leadership and influence on the lives of the people they lead. Characters that can be emulated from them are piety, loyalty, honesty, humility, holding fast to God and having integrity

Tuhan menciptakan manusia sepasang: pria dan Wanita. Mereka diciptakan dalam keberbedaan tetapi satu kesatuan. Pada akhir-akhir ini muncul penelitian tentang kloning, yang diawali kloning pada tumbuhan dan hewan namun belakangan mengarah kloning pada manusia. Manusia kloning merusak tatanan sosial dan pernikahan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana konsep penciptaan mula-mula pada saat Tuhan menciptakan manusia dimana mereka berkuasa di bumi dan beranak cucu dan bertambah banyak, tetapi melalui konsep keluarga yang terdiri dari ayah ibu dan anak, dimana berbeda dengan kloning yang tidak membutuhkan pasangan laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka. Meskipun usaha para ilmuwan untuk terus mengembangkan kloning manusia, sebagai orang Kristen kita harus menentukan sikap dalam hal ini. Alkitab mengajarkan Allah sebagai inisiator pertama menciptakan manusia menurut gambar dan rupa Allah dalam hal ini menciptakan manusia, hak dan kewajiban tunggal Tuhan.

This research aims to describe and analyze the doctrine of the Sanctuary and the three angels' messages in Revelation 14:6-12 and the relationship between the two in the view of the Seventh Day Adventist church, using documentary research method based on published primary sources focused on the background as well as its historical context and perspective. The study concludes that the doctrine of the sanctuary and the three angels' messages have a close relationship from the perspective of the Seventh Day Adventist church, where God offers salvation through both the sanctuary doctrine and the three angels' messages to all sinners. Sanctuary doctrine calls all sinners to seek salvation in God and makes God the center of true worship. The three angels' messages also invite everyone to worship the true God and make God the center of everything. God's character is reflected both in the doctrine of the sanctuary and the messages of the three angels. The doctrine of the sanctuary and the three angels' messages constitute a contemporary eschatology that is interconnected with one another. The essence of the sanctuary doctrine and the three angels' messages is Jesus Christ who died sacrificing himself on the cross to redeem the sinners. This research is limited to the investigation of the meaning of the Sanctuary and the three angels' messages from the perspective of the SDA church. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the broader theological discussion, as a source of information for any reader and enrich the understanding of those who may wish to better understand the teachings of the Adventist Church.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis doktrin bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat dalam Wahyu 14:6-12 serta hubungan antara keduanya dalam pandangan Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dokumenter berdasarkan sumber-sumber primer yang telah dipublikasikan yang berfokus pada latar belakang serta konteks historis dan perspektifnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa doktrin bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat memiliki hubungan yang erat dalam pandangan Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh, di mana Tuhan menawarkan keselamatan melalui doktrin bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat kepada semua orang berdosa. Doktrin bait suci memanggil semua orang berdosa untuk mencari keselamatan di dalam Tuhan dan menjadikan Tuhan sebagai pusat penyembahan yang benar. Pesan ketiga malaikat juga mengundang semua orang untuk menyembah Tuhan yang benar dan menjadikan Tuhan sebagai pusat dari segala sesuatu. Karakter Tuhan tercermin baik dalam doktrin bait suci maupun pekabaran tiga malaikat. Doktrin bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat merupakan eskatologi saat ini yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Inti dari doktrin bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat adalah Yesus Kristus yang telah mati mengorbankan diri-Nya di kayu salib untuk menebus orang-orang berdosa. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada penelusuran makna bait suci dan pekabaran tiga malaikat dari sudut pandang gereja advent. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap diskusi teologis secara lebih luas, sebagai sumber informasi bagi setiap pembaca dan memperkaya pemahaman yang mungkin ingin memahami lebih baik ajaran-ajaran Gereja Advent.

This study aims to uncover the secret of the plan of salvation that lies in the genealogy of Jesus Christ recorded in Matthew 1:1–17, especially in the context of the presence of foreign and sinful women in Jesus' lineage. In this effort, the method of theological analysis was used to understand the theological significance and moral message contained in the inclusion of women such as Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Uriah's wife in the genealogy of Christ. This research delves into the historical and cultural context of Matthew's writing and analyzes how the inclusion of these women complements and illustrates the fulfillment of God's all-encompassing and gracious promise. The findings of this study will deepen understanding of the redemptive narrative woven into the genealogy of Jesus Christ, provide deep insight into the inclusiveness of God's plan of salvation, and offer an evocative testimony of His infinite love and mercy to all mankind.

Menurut Matius 28:19-20, penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana kerohanian anggota jemaat berdampak pada kemajuan penginjilan di Gereja GMAHK Naripan Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan survei dan analisis jalur. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang bertanya tentang kerohanian anggota jemaat, aktivitas penginjilan, persepsi mereka tentang kemajuan gereja, dan tanggapan terhadap Matius 28:19-20. Menurut hasil penelitian, sebagian besar jemaat terlibat dalam aktivitas gereja dan memiliki kebiasaan berdoa dan meditasi Alkitab. Namun, beberapa orang kurang terlibat dalam ibadah Sabat. Mereka biasanya terlibat dalam kegiatan penginjilan, tetapi kurang terlibat dalam konferensi dan seminar gereja. Meskipun beberapa orang mengatakan mereka kurang memahaminya, tanggapan terhadap ajaran Matius 28:19-20 menunjukkan pemahaman dan penerapan yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gereja GMAHK Naripan Bandung memiliki jemaat yang aktif dan berkomitmen, namun masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan dalam beberapa aspek kegiatan gereja.
