Abstract

Tujuan   dari   penelitian   ini   untuk   mengetahui   pengaruh    minat    membaca terhadap     hasil     belajar     siswa,      penelitian      ini      menggunakan      pendekatan kualitatif    dengan     metode     survey.     Populasi     pada     penelitian     adalah     seluruh siswa   kelas   I   yang   berjumlah    26    siswa.    Pengumpulan    data    yang    digunakan berupa angket berskala   likert.   Tenik   analis   data   menggunakan   analisis   regresi sederhana.   Hasil   penelitian   menunjukkan   adanya    pengaruh    yang    positif    dan signifikan   miant   membaca   terhadap   hasil   belajar   siswa    kelas    I    SD    Swasta Pangeran    Antasari    Helvetia    Kabupaten    Deli    Serdang.    Hasil    pengolahan    data bahwa    minat    membaca    siswa    menurut    perpesi    resonden    mencapai     53,8% termasuk   kategori   kriterium   sedang   dan   hasil   belajar   siswa    mencapai    30,8% termasuk    karegori    baik.    Berdasarkan    hasil    analisis    uji    hipotesis    diperoleh    t hitung   (7,724)   >   sig   (0,005)   maka    koefisien    regresi    X    dan    Y    yang    diuji aadalah     signifikan.     Maka     hasil     penelitian      menunjukkan      bahwa      minat membaca    memiliki    dengan    hasil    belajar    hal    tersebut    didapat    dari     hasil presentase hasil belajar siswa kelas I SD Swasta Pangeran Antasari.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in using picture card media as a learning aid aligned with the scientific approach. Picture card media is considered effective in stimulating students’ thinking, imagination, and understanding, especially at the elementary school level. The scientific approach, which consists of observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating, was applied integratively throughout the training. The activity was conducted at SDN 060877 Medan and involved 20 participating teachers. The implementation methods included lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on practice. Evaluation results showed that 15% of participants reached the “excellent” category, 55% were in the “good” category, and 30% were in the “fair” category. These findings indicate that the training successfully improved most participants’ understanding of the concepts and practical use of picture card media based on the scientific approach. This program is expected to serve as a starting point for strengthening teachers’ abilities in developing active, innovative, and contextual classroom learning.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, prospective teachers are expected to master adaptive and innovative teaching competencies, particularly in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into learning processes. Mathematics instruction at the elementary level, which is often perceived as abstract, demands creative and contextual approaches that align with students’ developmental characteristics. This community service program was designed to strengthen the professional capacity of prospective mathematics teachers through intensive mentoring on the utilization of AI in lesson planning, instructional media development, and assessment design. Conducted face-to-face at STKIP Pangeran Antasari, the program employed training, hands-on practice, collaborative discussions, and sustained mentoring. The program outcomes demonstrate significant improvements in students’ abilities to apply AI in an effective, creative, and ethical manner, supporting the development of interactive, contextual, and student-centered learning in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. This initiative contributes strategically to preparing innovative and future-ready mathematics teachers capable of responding to the challenges of digital-era education.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has significantly transformed students' social interactions, particularly through social media. While digital platforms provide various educational and communication benefits, they also increase the risk of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying has become a serious concern because it may cause psychological, social, and academic problems for students. Limited digital literacy and inadequate legal awareness are among the main factors contributing to cyberbullying among adolescents. This community service program aimed to strengthen students' digital literacy and legal awareness as preventive strategies against cyberbullying. The program involved sixty students from grades X and XI of a senior high school in Medan. Activities included preliminary observation, legal counseling, digital literacy education, group discussions, case simulations, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. Educational materials covered cyberbullying, digital ethics, online privacy, personal data protection, and legal consequences of inappropriate online behavior. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' understanding of cyberbullying prevention, responsible digital behavior, and legal awareness. The average score increased from 58.3 in the pre-test to 88.7 in the post-test. Furthermore, the program encouraged students and the school community to commit to creating a safer and healthier digital environment. These findings demonstrate that strengthening digital literacy and legal awareness is an effective strategy to prevent cyberbullying among high school students.
