Abstract

Halal industry has become a positive trend in areas of food, fashion, and tourism. In Indonesia, one of the priority areas for halal industry is Halal Culinary Zone in Kauman Solo. Designation this area is aimed at creating a halal value chain ecosystem with Sharia economic principles. This research is descriptive qualitative model, with observations and interviews, data analysis using Creswell's. The results show that several stakeholders play crucial roles in development of Kauman Solo, including Surakarta Government, BI of Surakarta, Sharia Economic Community, BPJPH, UMKM Kauman, BUMN, and private businesses. There are 79 UMKM members, characterized by being home-based and offering their products in front of their homes to tourists visiting the Kauman area. Another distinctive feature is that over 80% of these UMKM businesses have halal certificate. Challenges such as a lack of capital, completeness of administrative documentation and competent human resources are expected to be addressed collectively.

Abstract

Economics has become an essential science for the resilience of a country and has become an endless discussion. The Prophet exemplified economic activity before the prophetic era, and economic studies emerged in fiqh learning which was divided into muamalah fiqh. Muamalah fiqh studies can be found in Islamic boarding schools, but the snag is part of the final chapter in one book study, so the depth of the material still needs to be improved. The main objective of this research is to explain the urgency and revitalization of Islamic boarding school fiqh as the basis for economic activity in Indonesia so that the Indonesian economy can survive and be sustainable. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a data source in the form of a document review. Data analysis techniques use Creswell's theory: of organizing, transcribing, and analyzing data. The results show that pesantren, with all the potential they have, can revitalize Islamic boarding schools with economics using the scientific approach to jurisprudence that has been studied. This revitalization is essential to be carried out comprehensively following current economic developments while still using the sources of the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

Motor DC banyak digunakan dalam sistem penggerak industri sehingga membutuhkan sistem kendali kecepatan yang presisi dan stabil terhadap gangguan. Kontroler Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) merupakan metode yang umum digunakan, namun performanya sangat bergantung  pada proses penalaan parameter. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penalaan  parameter PID menggunakan algoritma Ant Colony Optimization (ACO)  berbasis model matematis motor DC hasil identifikasi sistem. Model  dinamis motor DC diperoleh melalui pendekatan black-box system identification menggunakan sinyal Pseudo Random Binary Sequence  (PRBS) sebagai masukan dan kecepatan putar (RPM) sebagai keluaran.  Struktur model AutoRegressive with eXogenous Input (ARX) digunakan dan diestimasi menggunakan metode Recursive Least Squares (RLS). Hasil identifikasi menghasilkan model diskrit dengan nilai best fit sebesar  92,43%. Parameter PID awal diperoleh melalui autotuning MATLAB dan  selanjutnya dioptimasi menggunakan algoritma ACO dengan fungsi  objektif Integral of Time-weighted Absolute Error (ITAE). Hasil optimasi  menghasilkan parameter optimal ?? = ?.?????, ?? = ?.?????, dan ?? =  ?.??????. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kontroler PID berbasis ACO  mampu menghasilkan rise time dan settling time yang lebih cepat serta overshoot yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode autotuning. Pengujian  pada sistem nyata juga menunjukkan bahwa kontroler PID hasil ACO  memiliki performa yang baik dalam mengikuti setpoint dan menolak  gangguan beban. Dengan demikian, algoritma ACO terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan performa kontrol kecepatan motor DC. Kata Kunci — ACO, Arduino, MATLAB, Motor DC, PID, PRBS.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of sustainability reporting, as measured by the ESG score, on the financial performance of banks in Indonesia and Malaysia, specifically focusing on Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). Additionally, macroeconomic variables, including inflation (INF), GDP growth, unemployment rate (UNP), and bank-specific factors such as Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) are considered. Using panel data from 2020 to 2024, the study applies the Random Effects Model (REM) to analyze the relationships between these variables. The results indicate that ESG disclosure does not have a significant on the financial performance of banks in both countries. However, NPM significantly positively both ROA and ROE. Macroeconomic variables show mixed results, with inflation having a positive impact on financial performance, GDP negatively affecting ROE, and UNP having a positive effect on ROE but no significant effect on ROA. The study suggests that macroeconomic stability plays a more substantial role in shaping bank performance compared to sustainability disclosure, particularly in emerging markets like Indonesia and Malaysia. Further research could explore the long-term effects of sustainability reporting and consider crisis periods to better understand the dynamics between sustainability and financial performance in the banking sector.

Abstract

Shell and tube heat exchanger merupakan komponen penting dalam  industri yang memerlukan pengendalian suhu yang presisi. Permasalahan  utama yang sering terjadi adalah adanya time delay dan gangguan pada  proses perpindahan panas, yang menyebabkan respons sistem menjadi  lambat dan suhu keluaran tidak stabil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  merancang dan mesimulasikan sistem pengendalian suhu pada shell and  tube heat exchanger menggunakan Model Predictive Control (MPC). Model matematis plant menggunakan pendekatan First Order Plus Dead Time  (FOPDT). Parameter MPC ditentukan menggunakan metode tuning dan  dioptimalkan melalui variasi nilai Prediction Horizon (Np), Control Horizon  (Nc), bobot kesalahan (Q), dan perubahan sinyal kendali (R). Simulasi  dilakukan menggunakan Matlab Simulink dan diuji pada skenario setpoint  change serta load disturbance. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa  kombinasi parameter optimal Np=55, Nc=3, Q=1, dan R=1,3 mampu  menghasilkan respon dengan rise time 106,10 detik, settling time 205,40  detik, overshoot 0%, dan error steady state 0%. Pada pengujian setpoint  change kontroler MPC memiliki performa yang baik dalam mengikuti  perubahan setpoint dan pada pengujian load disturbance kontroler MPC  menghasilkan recovery time sebesar 132 detik untuk gangguan kenaikan  beban 10% dan 156 detik untuk gangguan penurunan beban 20% tanpa  memicu agresivitas pada sinyal kendali. Dengan demikian, pengendali MPC  terbukti efektif dalam menjaga kestabilan pengendalian suhu heat  exchanger terhadap variasi beban dan gangguan.
