Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the mind mapping learning model to improve the learning process about social interaction for fifth grade students at SDN 36 Parepare, and to find out that the application of the mind mapping learning model can improve learning outcomes about social interaction for fifth grade students at SDN 36 Parepare. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 20 students in class V for the 2022/2023 academic year, consisting of 15 boys and 5 girls at SDN 36 Parepare. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, testing and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research was carried out in two cycles. In cycle I the results of research on the learning process are in good qualification, but the learning outcomes are still in sufficient qualification. Whereas in cycle II the results of this study in the learning process were in good qualifications with learning outcomes also in good qualifications.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping untuk meningkatkan proses belajar tentang interaksi sosial siswa kelas V SDN 36 Parepare, dan untuk mengetahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tentang interaksi sosial siswa kelas V SDN 36 Parepare. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas . Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 20 siswa, terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan di SDN 36 Parepare. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus. Pada siklus I hasil penelitian pada proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi baik, akan tetapi pada hasil belajar masih berada pada kualifikasi cukup. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil penelitian ini pada proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi baik dengan hasil belajar juga pada kualifikasi baik.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to: (1) describe the reading culture of PBSI Makassar State University students; (2) describe the factors that influence the reading culture of PBSI Makassar State University students; (3) describe efforts to improve reading culture in PBSI students at Makassar State University. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students of class 2019 of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University. Meanwhile, the object of this research is reading culture, the factors that influence the formation of reading culture, and the efforts made by students in improving reading culture. The data collection technique used in this research is in the form of a questionnaire. The data in this study were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of research related to reading culture in Indonesian Language and Literature Education students are at a very good level. There are eleven factors that influence the formation of reading culture in students. And, there are nine efforts made by students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University in improving reading culture. Keywords: culture, reading, college student
