Abstract

ABSTRACTYustin Tarimakase. The factors that influence the production of nutmeg in Manganitu Sub District (Under guidance of Paulus A. Pangemanan as a cahirman Jenny Baroleh and Gene H. M. Kapantow as members).The objective of this research is to determine tha factor that influence the production of nutmeg in Manganitu Sub District, Sangihe Islands. This research uses survey methods and Primary data obtained from questioner and interview with nutmeg farmers and secondary data from related department such as agriculture, animal, husbandry, estate plantation, and forestry service of Sangihe Island Regency, Manganitu sub District office and Sangihe Islands Statistic Central Service.This study analyzed using multiple regression by calculating the factors that influence behavior of farmers in production such as land, labor, capital and farmers behavior (dummy).The result of this research showed that was by R value or determination coefficient was 73,89 the remaining 26,2 %. The result of regression analysis from the formula Y = 4,0 + 34,9 X1 – 6,87 X2 + 0,0004 X3 + 5,32 X4.Effect of land to nutmeg production (X1) was 34,9 of means that the increase of one unit of land will be followed by the increase of 34,9 unit of production. The effect of labor to nutmeg production (X2) was – 6,87 means that the increase of one unit of labor will be followed by the decrease of 6,87 unit of nutmeg production.The effect of capital to nutmeg production (X3) was 0,00004 means that the increase of one unit of capital will be followed by the increase of 0,0004 unit of production.The effect of farmer behavior to nutmeg production (X4) was 5,34 means that the increase of one unit of farmer behavior will be followed by the increase of 5,34 unit production

Abstract

ABSTRACTWinda Trisnawati Karaeng. Competitive and Comparative Advantages of Corn Commodity in South Minahasa Regency, Under guidance of Dr. Ir. Paul A. Pangemanan, MS as a Chairman, Ir. Celsius Talumingan, MP and Jean F. J. Timban, SP, MSi as Members.The objective of this research is to analyze competitive and comparative advantages of corn commodity in South Minahasa. The research had been done for two months, start from April 2014 until May 2014. Location of this research was Paslaten Satu Village at Tatapaan Sub District, North Sulawesi Province. Data used in this research was from primary and secondary data. Primary data was from interviews with respondents by used a list of questionaire. While the secondary data was from the relevant departments, such as Agricultural Service, Industrial Service and Statistical Centre Department.The research result showed that corn commodity in South MinahasaRegency has advantages using calculations of Private Profitability (137,159) and Social Profitability (68,139). It means that the corn commodity was efficient and had both competitive advantage and comparative advantage. Two indicators for measure competitiveness were 1) Private Cost Ratio (PCR) show that the corn farmer’s is more competitive because PCR < 1, and 2) Domestic Resources Cost Ratio (DRCR) show that the corn commodity has comparative advantage because DRCR < 1. It means that the corn commodity according to financial analysis was efficient and has greater potency in international trade.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research in to observe the effects before and after the increase of soybean prices to tofu processing small industries in Batu Kota Village, Malalayang sub District, Manado. Data collection was conducted over six months, from Februari 2014 until Juli 2014. Data obtained are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through the survey directly to the tofu enterprice in Batu Kota Village, Malalayang Sub District, Manado. Secondary data obtained through agencies associated with this research. Sampling was done by simple Saturated sampling technique, a total of 4 Respondents of small processing industry was sampled. The basic method used to see before and after the increase in soybean prices is that the next stage of your analysis descriptive in the form of tabulation, editing and processing of data by using Microsoft Excel Software.The results of this study indicated there was impact of price increases on small industrial soybean processing in Batu Kota Village, Malalayang Sub District, Manado. The impacts were in input factor price, decrease in the volume of production, the cost of the industry, the price of tofu, the size changes of tofu, revenue and profits of tofu entrepreneur. The increase of soybean prices reached 35.84 gratuity, tofu in Batu Kota still exist. This is due to changes in the size of tofu, besides tofu also has an informal partnership for the supply of raw materials with the tofu supplier there fore their industry still exist and feasible.Keywords : Frequency of production, informal Partnership, change of the size of the tof

Abstract

ABSTRACTMarlyanti Tumandung. Shifting of Economic Structure in North Sulawesi Province (Underguidance of Paul A. Pangemanan as a Chairman, O. Esry H. Laoh and Jean FJ Timban as Members).The objective of this research is to analyze the economy structural shift in from of the North Sulawesi Province . The study was conducted over three months starting from July 2014 until September 2014 in North Sulawesi Province. The data used in this study was secondary data obtained from the North Sulawesi Province Central Bureau of Statistics. The data used was the Gross Domestic Product ( GDP) at constant prices of 2003-2012 . This analysis uses descriptive .The research result showed that most sectors contributing to the GDP formation in North Sulawesi was the tertiary sector . The contribution of the tertiary sector continued to increase in 2003-2012 period while the primary sector declined .Keyword: Gross Domestic Product ( GDP), primary sector, tertiary sector.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify the coconut plantation commodity logistics system in Sangihe Islands District. The method used in this study is a survey method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained using the technique of direct interview to farmers and businesses as respondents, using a list of questions (questionnaire) as a tool in data collection. Secondary data were obtained from the department / agencies in the Sangihe Islands District Office of Industry and Trade, Department of Plantations, BAPPEDA, Central Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Transportation. The location of the sample data retrieval, the District of North Tabukan for coconuts and cloves and nutmeg Kendahe for commodities. The determination of these two sub-district based on this location as commodity-producing areas of coconut, nutmeg and cloves highest in Sangihe Islands District as well as most of the villagers are farmers coconut, nutmeg and cloves, so that the two districts are considered to represent the research on logistics system plantation in District Sangihe. Analysis of the data used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis where the data obtained will be described to obtain an overview of the process of agricultural commodity logistics and qualitatively analyze the meaning behind the information obtained so composed a systematic knowledge of the process, the reality, of the phenomenon of commodity logistics system plantation in Sangihe Islands District. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed using analysis of network models to determine the shortest route is the path / shortest route in a network. The results showed that the Coconuts are processed into copra farmers then sold to traders, usually through storage by traders to achieve copra delivery quota to a large warehouse. The conclusion of this study is coconut plantation commodity logistics system in the District of Sangihe through three stages ranging from farmers, traders up in the warehouse for distribution to the various regions, where already existing lines patterned in accordance with the timely distribution to Bitung even some which is distributed to the Philippines. Specifically for the commodity nutmeg an cloves, distribution using passenger ship The suggestion in this research is the need for calculation of efficiency and effectiveness analysis of the logistics system of agricultural commodity in Sangihe Islands District to Bitung and the Philippines.Keywords: Logistics, Plantation, Coconut

Abstract

ABSTRACTArini Pamona, The Role of Social Institution to the Development of Agribusiness in Rurukan, Eastern District of Tomohon, supervised by Prof. Dr. Ir. Jen Tatuh, MS as Chief, Dr. Ir. Paulus A. Pangemanan, MS and Dr. Ir. Agnes E. Loho, MP as members.This study aimed to assess the role of the Social Organization of the Agribusiness Development in Sub Rurukan Eastern District of Tomohon. The benefits of this research is to provide information about the Role of Social Institutions of the Agribusiness Development in Sub Rurukan Eastern District of Tomohon and provide knowledge / insight to those who need this information. The collection of data, in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data through direct interviews based on a list of questions that have been prepared and secondary data derived from other sources associated with this research (BPS). Snowball sampling method using the method. Initial information obtained from Village which is a Key Person, community / religious leaders, continue to the next until the informant met with all information needed. Number of respondents were 12 respondents, which consists of four community leaders / religious leaders and each institution 1 board and 1 member. The results showed that each agency plays in each sub-system. Farmers Group acts by 50% in the provision of the means of production and agricultural tools and machines in the sub-system Agriindustri Hulu, Mapalus and Ma'rawis role of 100% in the supply of labor in sub-system Agriproduksi, Farmers Group acts by 10% in the processing of agricultural products be finished / semi-finished (Agro-Industry) on Agriindustri downstream sub-system, and the United Farmers Group / Arisan contribute by 75% in the delivery of information / education, technology, the provision of capital (financial / credit) as well as human resources development in the sub-system Agriservis, while sub Agriniaga system is not supported by social institutions. The overall role of social institutions can be said to contribute good but not very good because there is still a sub-system that has not been supported by social institutions, namely sub-systems Agriniaga resulting imbalance in this system.Key words: Social Institutions, Agribusiness, Eastern Tomohon

ABSTRACT Competitive ability of Indonesian products must be understood association with upstream and downstream sectors and need to be formulated sources of economic growth by making a comparison to other industrial countries . Pineleng two villages there Pineleng District of fresh syrup effort being developed by the Main CV.Segarindo . So far business has been running fresh syrup but not yet known in detail how big profits from the business because of the fresh syrup production process CV.Segarindo Main does not run continuously or in a period of only two times the production process . Issues that will be examined in this study is how much profit businesses CV.Segarindo Main fresh syrup . The purpose of this study was to determine the business benefits of fresh syrup CV.Segarindo Main . Expected results of the study in this research may provide information to businesses in managing the business of fresh syrup. The type of data that is in need exists in two forms , namely primary data and primary sekunder.Data data obtained from interviews with supervisors and owners of factories and secondary data is data that has been arranged in the form of written documents obtained from the Main CV.Segarindo . The data obtained in this study in descriptive analysis to determine the business benefits of fresh syrup Main CV.Segarindo using the formula advantage . The results of this study are business Main CV.Segarindo produce six types of products . Each product provides advantages , when run on an ongoing basis . The conclusion of this study is that the average profits of fresh syrup per 6 months in the Main CV.Segarindo overall gain of one year types of syrup that is Rp . 1,580.880.000,01 . The suggestion is to further increase business profits fresh syrup and implemented in continuous production process and search for new marketing areas in addition to the existing area .

Abstract

ABSTRACT WINDA DESITHA KALITOUW. Economic Valuation of Mangrove Forets in the Tiwoho Village, Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. Under guidance of  Ribka M. Kumaat. , Lyndon R. J. Pangemanan and Paulus A. Pangemanan. This study aims to determine how big the value of the total economic benefits of mangrove forest in the Tiwoho Village of Wori District North Minahasa Regency, by using the concept of economic valuation to calculate the value of the benefits of natural resources which exist. The research was conducted in January to March 2015, by conducting field observations and interviews directly to the community and local government. Based on the results obtained that indicate the area of mangrove forest ecosystems Tiwoho Village with a broad ±62,502 ha, have total value of economic benefits amounted Rp. 2.316.961.823/year with the largest contributor to the value of benefits is from the value of indirect benefits that is the value of the benefits of mangrove forests as a buffer abrasion or sea water waves. The total value of economic benefits can be used as a reference or basic comparison for the community and the government in determining the policy management and utilization of existing mangrove forests.   Keyword : valuation economic, mangrove forest ecosystems, benefits value

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe a survival strategy Peasants in theVillage of North Tombatu Two District North Tombatu. The research was conducted during the five months from January to May 2015 in the Village of North Tombatu Two District North Tombatu. The data used in- clude the primary and secondary data. Primary data collection using a list of questions prepared in the form of the questionnaire, while secondary data taken from the agencies - agencies in- volved in this research that North Tombatu Two Village Office. Sampling that all members of the population of Peasants. Samples were taken for one week a total of 32 heads of families. The analytical method used is Descriptive Analysis.The results showed that with low income farm workers they can still survive. By working odd jobs to supplement their income farm workers even though only enough to meet basic needs. The most dominant strategies used by farm work- ers is Controlling Food Consumption and spending that is by utilizing all available resources to suppress expenditure. Farm workers often received help from neighbors or nearby relatives, be- sides the majority of farm workers received help from the government, so it helps in meeting dai- ly needs - today and for membiyayai child's school. The participation of farmers in gathering al- so help farmers to cope with a sudden need and to build a house.  Keyword : Life Survival, hodge, life necessities

Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial statement analysis method to determine the performance of companies in a particular period. One of the methods of analysis used are ratio analysis. The analysis reveals the ratio of the elements in the financial statements. Figures from this analysis can show the activity of the company in the state is profitable or not. To measure the final results of the operation of a company can use the profitability ratio, of the value of this ratio can be in the know the strengths and weaknesses which is owned by businessman (businessman). The ratio may provide an indication of whether the company has sufficient cash to liabilities finasialnya or not enough. The purpose of this study was to determine the financial condition of the industry by using the Ratio Profitability and profitability of the chocolate manufacturing industry BUMDes "Mototompiaan".      Profitability Ratio of Gross profit margin measurement results show that in the year 2013 and 2014 hasilnnya above the industry average. This means that the company is in good condition. But for the measurement results Net profit margins, ROI and ROE, shows that in the year 2013 and 2014 results are below the industry average. This means that the industry is not effective in getting benefits because the production process is only dependent on demand or production is not continuous or financial condition of the state is not good.
