Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk media PERDASAWA yang memiliki tingkat kevalidan sebagai kriteria media untuk membantu siswa membaca aksara Jawa pada siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar membaca aksara Jawa. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh hasil validasi beberapa ahli antara lain, validasi ahli media sebesar 100%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 95.71%, dan validasi ahli pembelajaran bahasa Jawa Sekolah Dasar sebesar 93.07%. Sementara hasil uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan bahwa 88.75% pembelajaran bahasa Jawa menggunakan media KANCIL mendapat respon positif dari siswa dan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar menunjukkan bahwa 94.37% pembelajaran bahasa Jawa menggunakan media mendapat respon positif dari siswa dan sangat layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Media KANCIL ini perlu perbaikan dalam segi ukuran font dan spasi penulisan aksara Jawa yang benar

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan teknologi terus dikembangkan pada siswa Menengah Kejuruan sebagai pengembangan Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi Menuju Pendidikan Berkualitas. Salah satu SMK di Jawa Timur ini dituntut menyusun konsep awal, mengembangkan rencana kurikulum, dan melaksanakan uji coba kurikulum di lapangan. Pengembangan kurikulum di lapangan ini menjadi tantangan sendiri bagi SMK PGRI 2 Kertosono yang menciptakan pengembangan kurikulum dengan mengadakan pelatihan di kampus ITN Malang. Pelatihan yang mengarah ke teknologi ponsel dimana sebuah ponsel tidak dapat dilepaskan dari penggunaan charger. Charger yang umumnya digunakan membutuhkan energi listrik dari PLN dan generator. Sebagai alternatif baru, panel surya dapat menjadi solusi untuk menyediakan sumber energi listrik. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada penggunaan pengisian nirkabel yang menggunakan elektromagnetik dalam sistemnya, sehingga tidak memerlukan kabel saat digunakan. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah melatih siswa agar dapat merancang pembuatan frekuensi osilasi dan amplifier audio pada Wireless Power Transmission dengan pengisian daya yang lebih besar sehingga bisa menciptakan produk yang di inginkan masyarakat dan dapat bersaing secara global.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking is a crucial skill for students to master in the digital age. However, various findings indicate that student achievement in this aspect is very low. PBL, as a learning model believed to improve these skills, in practice, still draws criticism. In many studies, it is known that PBL is effective only when students have a good mastery of basic concepts. To bridge the research gap, Chemsite was used to strengthen these basic concepts. This study used an experimental method with 28 high school students as the research sample. Class selection was carried out randomly. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the integration of the PBL model with Chemsite in training higher-order thinking skills. Based on three parameters, namely: 1) the Wilcoxon test, indicating a significant difference in pre-test and post-test scores; 2) N-Gain analysis, indicating that 60.72% of students reached the high category and the rest were in the medium category; and 3) analysis of student responses, indicating a positive response between 79% and 100%. These findings prove that the Chemsite-PBL integration is effective in training HOTS and is an answer to the classic practice of PBL. Abstract

The integration of digital technology in elementary education has created new opportunities for supporting students’ conceptual understanding in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning. However, previous studies have predominantly focused on measuring the effectiveness of digital media rather than examining how conceptual understanding is formed through students’ learning experiences. This study aimed to explore the process through which conceptual understanding develops within a digital exploration space during solar system learning in elementary school. This study employed a qualitative phenomenographic design involving one classroom teacher and twelve Phase C students at an elementary school in Indonesia. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke’s procedures, while trustworthiness was established through triangulation, member checking, and audit trails. The findings revealed that conceptual understanding was formed through four interconnected stages: digital visualization, active exploration, social negotiation, and reflective integration. Digital visualization enabled students to transform abstract astronomical concepts into concrete mental representations. Active exploration encouraged students to construct meaning independently through interaction with digital resources. Social negotiation facilitated conceptual refinement through discussion and collaborative inquiry, while reflective integration supported the development of deeper conceptual connections among scientific phenomena. These processes collectively shifted students’ understanding from rote memorization toward relational and meaningful conceptual understanding. This study contributes a conceptual model explaining how digital exploration spaces function as socio-cognitive learning environments that support conceptual understanding in elementary IPAS learning. The findings provide practical implications for designing technology-enhanced learning experiences that promote exploration, dialogue, and reflection rather than merely delivering information.
