Abstract

Abstrak. Di dalam metoda analisis desain overlay/lapis tambah terdapat suatu faktor variasi jenis beban kendaraan yang menjadi salah satu parameter penting dalam perencanaan desain overlay. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur perkerasan eksisting dari jalan tol Jakarta-Cikampek, untuk perioda analisa antara 1988 sampai 2008 dan untuk menghitung tebal overlay yang diperlukan, berdasarkan pada data lendutan menggunakan alat Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). Dari data lendutan, nilai modulus resilien pada setiap lapisan dapat ditentukan. Dengan mempertimbangkan teori kerusakan kumulatif dan tekanan/tegangan yang diijinkan pada setiap lapisan, ketebalan overlay yang diperlukan dapat diperoleh. Hasil ini dapat dibandingkan dengan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metoda semi-analitis, misalnya metoda AASHTO 1993. Nilai modulus resilien setiap lapisan dapat menggambarkan tingkat kelemahan suatu lapisan dalam struktur perkerasandimana lapisan yang lemah ditunjukan oleh nilai modulus yang lebih rendah. Nilai kerusakan kumulatif (Cumulative Damage) pada setiap bagian-bagian jalan dapat menunjukkan lokasi mana yang perlu memperoleh overlay. Jika kerusakan kumulatif aktual nilainya lebih besar dari yang diijinkan, maka pada lokasi jalan tersebut perlu dilakukan overlay. Hal ini berarti struktur perkerasan tersebut berada dalam kondisi yang buruk dan perlu diperbaiki secepatnya.Abstract. An analytical method of overlay design has some advantages, such as to take into account the variation of loading types, which will give more exact and accurate results. The purpose of this research is to analyze the existing pavement structure of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, for analysis period between 1988 to 2008 and to calculate the Overlay Thickness required, based on the deflection data using Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) equipment. From the deflection data, Resilient Moduli in each layer can be determined. Considering the Cumulative Damage theory and the allowable stress/strain in each layer, the overlay thickness needed were obtained. These results could be compared to the calculation results using semi-analytical method i.e. AASHTO® 2003 method.The result of Resilient Moduli in each layer shows that those values could identify the weakness layer in the pavement structure, indicated by the lower value of Moduli. The calculation of Cumulative Damage for each section showed some locations that needed to be overlaid immediately. If the actual Cumulative Damage is greater than the allowable one, the overlay is needed. This means that pavement structure was not strong enough and need to be repaired in short term.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kondisi keselamatan lalu lintas jalan di Indonesia masih belum baik, kecelakaan lalu lintas masih sering terjadi dan memakan banyak korban jiwa. Salah satu upaya mendasar yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kondisi keselamatan lalu lintas jalan adalah dengan cara mengembangkan model prediksi kecelakaan. Model ini menghubungkan frekuensi kecelakaan yang terjadi pada suatu entitas jalan dengan arus lalu lintas dan berbagai faktor lingkungan jalan yang berkontribusi pada terjadinya kecelakaan. Kegunaan model ini adalah untuk mengestimasi dan memprediksi keselamatan suatu entitas jalan, mengidentifikasi lokasi-lokasi jalan berbahaya, dan juga untuk mengevaluasi keefektifan penerapan program penanganan lokasi berbahaya. Makalah ini menyajikan model prediksi kecelakaan pada ruas jalan tol Purwakarta-Bandung-Cileunyi (Purbaleunyi) yang dibangun dengan membandingkan kinerja statistik dari model regresi Poisson, Negatif Binomial (NB), Zero-Inflated Poisson (ZIP), dan Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB). Hasil pemodelan mengindikasikan model regresi NB adalah model yang terbaik. Berdasarkan model yang dibangun, frekuensi kecelakaan berkorelasi positif dengan lintas harian rata-rata tahunan, derajat kelengkungan, dan keberadaan median yang tingginya kurang dari 1,75 m dan lebarnya kurang dari 2,5 m. Model yang dibangun kemudian diaplikasikan untuk melakukan identifikasi dan pemeringkatan segmen jalan berbahaya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa KM 92-93 (arah Cileunyi) merupakan segmen yang paling berbahaya pada jalan tol Purbaleunyi. Abstract. Road traffic safety condition in Indonesia still needs improvement that road traffic accidents occur frequently and cause many people died. One way to improve road safety is by developing accident prediction model. The model relates accident frequencies with traffic flow and various roadway geometric/environment characteristics contributing to accident occurrences. The model is useful to estimate and predict safety of a road entity, identify hazardous road locations, and also to evaluate treatment effectiveness applied on hazardous road locations. This paper presents the accident prediction model for Purwakarta-Bandung-Cileunyi (Purbaleunyi) toll road. The model was developed by comparing statistical performances of Poisson, Negatif Binomial (NB), Zero- Inflated Poisson (ZIP), dan Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB) regression models. The modeling result indicates that the model which is developed using the NB regression model is the best. Based on the developed model, the accident frequency has positivie correlations with annual average daily traffic, degree of curvature, and presence of median with height less than 1.75 m and width less than 2.5 m. The developed model was subsequently applied to identify and rank hazardous road segments. The result shows that KM 92-93 (direction to Cileunyi) is the most hazardous segment at Purbaleunyi toll road.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan evaluasi fungsional dan struktural pada perkerasan lentur di Jalan Lintas Timur Sumatera Ruas Medan-Lubuk Pakam, serta memberi rekomendasi penanganan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut. Evaluasi fungsional perkerasan dilakukan berdasarkan metode Bina Marga yaitu mengkombinasikan nilai IRI (International Roughness Index) dan SDI (Surface Distress Index), sedangkan evaluasi struktural perkerasan dilakukan dengan menganalisa nilai lendutan dari pengukuran FWD (Falling Weight Deflectometer) yang dianalisa menggunakan metode AASHTO 1993 dengan outputnya adalah nilai SN (Structural Number), dimana perbandingan SNeffective /SNfuture menghasilkan nilai SCI (Structural Condition Index) yang menentukan apakah suatu perkerasan memerlukan overlay atau tidak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis fungsional dengan mengkombinasikan nilai IRI dan SDI menggunakan metode Bina Marga menghasilkan kondisi jalan masingmasingsegmen antara lain sedang dan rusak ringan. Analisis struktural menunjukan hasil diseluruh segmen menghasilkan nilai SCI<1 yang berarti seluruh segmen telah membutuhkan lapis tambah (overlay).Abstract. The aim of this study was to conduct a functional and structural evaluations on the flexible pavement of East Trans-Sumatra Highway, that is Medan-Lubuk Pakam Link, as well as to give maintenance recommendations based on the results of this evaluation. The functional evaluation was performed using Bina Marga method that combines the IRI (International Roughness Index) and SDI (Surface Distress Index) values, whereas the structural evaluation of pavement was conducted by analyzing the deflection value from the FWD (Falling Weight Deflectometer) equipment. The measurement was analyzed by using the AASHTO 1993 method where SNeffective/SNfuture resulted the SCI value (Structural Condition Index) that determines whether a given pavement requires an overlay or not.  Based on the results of the Functional Analysis through a combination of the IRI and SDI values, it was revealed that the road condition in each segment was fair and slightly damaged. While the structural analysis showed that all segments had an SCI value of less than one, meaning that all segments need an overlay.

Abstract

Indihiang Terminal, a Type A terminal located in Tasikmalaya Regency and was built in 2005 under the management of the Ministry of Transportation and Transportation. This terminal found a fundamental problem: namely the lack of passengers, this has been going on for a long time. Some passengers prefer to depart and get off at bus pools or public roads rather than at the terminal. Research objective to Evaluate terminal performance. Research method: using descriptive quantitative method with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. Research sample, The sample used in this study was 64 people. Research results Based on the IPA method, 14 facilities need to be prioritized because, above the iso rating line. Conclusion, Location, accessibility, and onward transportation to or from the Indihiang terminal in Tasikmalaya City are things that need to be improved again and the bus operational system in terms of boarding and dropping passengers needs to be rearranged so that buses pick up and drop off passengers at the terminal.

Abstract

The existence of shuttle public transportation will result in a decrease in revenue from bus public transportation. Studying the level of influence of factors that influence the characteristics of the choice of transportation mode between bus public transportation and shuttle public transportation, especially in Sumedang Regency, reviewing simulations of changes in travel costs to determine the relationship between travel costs and levels. possibilities in choosing bus and shuttle public transportation. In this research, it can be concluded that the simplification of variables uses a simple correlation method and uses a stepwise method. Based on the calculation of the average level of probability of selecting shuttle and public bus modes, if shuttle and public buses serve the Sumedang - Jakarta route then the probability level of selecting shuttle mode is 51 % and public bus mode 49% with an average cost difference that is not too significant at Rp. 35,000 to Rp. 50,000,-. So in this research travel time and waiting time for departure are factors to consider in choosing public transport modes. On the Sumedang - Jakarta route or vice versa, the shuttle crosses the Cisumdawu Toll Road which connects Sumedang City - Cileunyi Bandung Toll Road and the MBZ Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Flyover Toll Road which connects the Cikampek - Jakarta Toll Road, so the travel time on the Sumedang - Jakarta route is shorter using the shuttle. , while public buses are not allowed to cross the MBZ Elevated Toll Road. The study only analyzes the mode choice between bus and shuttle public transportation for the Sumedang – Jakarta route. The scope of this study can be expanded for passenger movements on other routes and competition for other modes.

Abstract

Indonesia’s dependency on imported petroleum asphalt for road infrastructure development presents a sustainability challenge. Utilizing local resources such as Lawele natural asphalt (Asbuton) offers a strategic alternative to reduce this reliance. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) mixtures using pure Lawele-modified asphalt (PMA 2%) and compare it with mixtures made with unmodified Pen 60/70 asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt Starbit E-55. The research was conducted through a laboratory experimental approach using standard testing methods (AASHTO and SNI). The SMA mixtures were tested for Marshall Stability, draindown, Indirect Tensile Strength Ratio (ITSR), and Cantabro loss. Results showed that the Starbit E-55 mixture achieved the highest stability (707 kg), followed by PMA 2% (678 kg), and Pen 60/70 (638 kg). Both PMA 2% and Starbit E-55 mixtures exhibited 0% draindown, superior to the 0.022% of Pen 60/70. The PMA 2% mixture achieved an ITSR value of 82.55% and the lowest Cantabro loss at 1.97%, indicating excellent resistance to stripping and abrasion. In conclusion, the use of PMA 2% provides comparable or even superior structural and functional performance to synthetic polymer-modified asphalt and presents a more environmentally friendly binder alternative.

Abstract

Peraturan Pemerintah No. 15 Tahun 2005 tentang Jalan Tol menyebutkan bahwa rencana ruas jalan tol sebagai bagian dari jaringan jalan tol ditentukan berdasarkan hasil pra studi kelayakan terhadap ruas-ruas. Data-data ini diperlukan mulai dari menentukan analisa kebutuhan sampai analisa ekonomi. Secara sistem jaringan jalan, pulau jawa di topang oleh berbagai ketersediaan akses jalan baik itu jalan lintas horizontal maupun vertical. Kinerja jaringan Jalan Nasional di Pulau Jawa sudah mulai jenuh mendekati VC rasio 0.8. Untuk jalur Pantura sampai dengan Semarang sudah mempunyai pendamping atau alternative yaitu jalan tol Trans Java.

Abstract

Terminal Pasir Hayam, dikenal juga sebagai Terminal Jebrod, merupakan salah satu terminal penumpang tipe B terbesar di Cianjur selain Terminal Rawabango dan Terminal Cipanas. Terletak di Jalan Raya Cibeber, Kelurahan Sirnagalih, Kecamatan Cilaku, terminal ini dibangun pada tahun 2006 dan awalnya merupakan terminal tipe C sebelum statusnya ditingkatkan menjadi tipe B pada tahun 2012. Pengelolaannya kini berada di bawah Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Terminal ini menghubungkan Cianjur dengan wilayah sekitarnya melalui berbagai moda transportasi seperti angkutan kota, mobil penumpang umum (MPU), angkutan antarkota dalam provinsi (AKDP), dan antarkota antarprovinsi (AKAP). Penelitian tentang kepuasan pengunjung Terminal Pasir Hayam menggunakan kuesioner menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan dan pemeliharaan kualitas pelayanan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode reliabilitas dan validitas untuk memahami faktor-faktor kepuasan pengunjung dan mengidentifikasi variabel-variabel pelayanan yang perlu ditingkatkan dan dipertahankan.

Abstract

Many people are interested in using the shadow terminal area on Jalan Raya Cibeber as a place to wait for public transportation and an interaction point between modes and routes. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the existence of shadow terminals around Pasir Hayam Terminal, focusing on the factors that influence passenger preferences in choosing shadow terminals compared to official terminals.  This research method uses a quantitative approach, where Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is used to evaluate public transportation users' satisfaction with the performance of shadow terminals and main terminals. In addition, the SWOT Analysis Method is used as a tool to help structure the problem, especially in analyzing the strategic environment, which consists of two aspects, namely the internal and external environment. The results of calculations and analysis using the IPA method show that comfort and convenience are the main factors that influence passenger preferences in choosing the Shadow Terminal. Another significant factor is the availability of clean and complete dining and toilet facilities.  Through SWOT analysis, Pasir Hayam Terminal is in quadrant 2 which indicates a diversification strategy. In this strategy, the focus will be on optimizing the strengths of the terminal, improving existing weaknesses, taking advantage of open opportunities, and overcoming threats that may be faced. In addition, this strategy includes efforts to increase the advantages of Pasir Hayam Terminal over Terminal Bayangan and utilize the potential of Terminal Bayangan as a strength.
