Abstract

This study is based on the formation of democratic character that always takes place in schools. The formation of democratic character can also be carried out in the family and community through the markobar tradition. Markobar is a tradition that involves family members and the family system in the Mandailing community. Markobar is a tradition that is carried out by giving opinions and ideas in turn. This study aims to examine more deeply the process of forming a democratic character through the Markobar tradition. The study used the first data source, namely the literature. The literature is the first source used, such as books, journals, magazines, sources of printed library materials, and relevant previous research results. The data collection technique used is a qualitative data collection technique that includes a literature study. Then, data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display, verification, and concluding. This study found that the formation of democratic character can occur within the family and community through the Markobar tradition. The Markobar tradition is a medium that trains children to be democratic, to respect opinions, and differences, and to uphold the rights of everyone. In the process of forming democratic character in the family and society, patterns of formation are found, namely habituation, exemplary, ongoing, and involving family members. The formation of a child's democratic character occurs along with ongoing interactions and actions in the family and community

Abstract

Abstract: The pattern of medication consumption during Ramadan, which previously could be done throughout the day, must be adjusted to only within a range of approximately 10.5 hours each day. Therefore, adjustments are needed in the medication schedule so that the effectiveness of the treatment is as expected. The method used for health education is participatory education using PowerPoint (PPT) media. The PPT media contains accurate, interesting, and interactive information so that listeners can focus on the information being presented. Health education on “Medication Use During Fasting Month” was held at the Outpatient Pharmacy Depot of the Idaman Banjarbaru Regional General Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. WITA, ending with an open discussion through a question and answer session. Based on the discussion results, many patients were unaware of the proper rules for taking medication during the fasting month, and patients also felt afraid that using special medical devices during fasting might invalidate their fast. Keywords: Health Education, Ramadhan, Fasting, Drug use   Abstrak: Pola konsumsi obat di bulan Ramadhan yang sebelumnya dapat dilakukan sepanjang hari harus disesuaikan menjadi hanya dalam rentang waktu sekitar 10,5 jam setiap harinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penyesuaian dalam jadwal penggunaan obat agar efektivitas pengobatan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Metode yang digunakan saat edukasi kesehatan adalah metode edukasi partisipatif dengan media Power Point (PPT). Media PPT berisi informasi yang akurat serta menarik dan interaktif sehingga pendengar dapat fokus terhadap informasi yang sedang diberikan. Edukasi kesehatan mengenai “Penggunaan Obat di Bulan Puasa” dilaksanakan di Depo Rawat Jalan Instalasi Farmasi RSD Idaman Banjarbaru pada hari Senin, 10 Maret 2025 pukul 10.00-10.30 WITA yang diakhiri dengan diskusi terbuka melalui sesi tanya jawab. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi, banyak pasien yang belum mengetahui terkait aturan minum obat yang tepat di bulan puasa dan pasien juga merasa takut jika melakukan pengobatan dengan alat khusus selama berpuasa akan membatalkan puasa.
