Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the education sector, especially the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of educators in handling the learning process of students at SDN Kertajaya 4 during a pandemic. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that educators have been able to adapt to the situation and utilize various online learning platforms to deliver material to students. However, the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as challenges in conducting online learning have hampered the performance of educators. To improve educator performance, it is necessary to provide more support and training to use online learning platforms effectively. Overall, this research provides insight into the challenges and opportunities for educators in delivering effective teaching and learning during a pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning interest of grade 5 students at SDN 3 Dermaji by using media images on the water cycle material. This research was conducted at SDN 3 Dermaji, Lumbir District, Banyumas Regency. The research design used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of two cycles with each cycle consisting of two actions. The research subjects were 25 grade 5 students at SDN 3 Dermaji. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and interest in learning tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the use of media images in the water cycle material can increase students' learning interest. In cycle I, the average score of interest in learning was 67.6 with a percentage of learning completeness of 56%, while in cycle II, the average score of interest in learning increased to 84.2 with a percentage of learning completeness of 88%. This shows that the use of media images is effective in increasing students' learning interest. In addition, the results of the study also show that students find it easier to understand the material and are more interested in learning to use media images. Based on the research results, it is suggested that the use of media images in learning materials can be increased, and the use of other learning media also needs to be implemented to meet students' learning needs. In addition, it is also necessary to have attention and support from all related parties so that the use of media images in learning can run well and effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles on the learning outcomes of grade 5 students at SDN Ciporos 3. The research method used is quantitative using survey techniques and questionnaires as data collection tools. The sample for this study was 60 grade 5 students who were randomly selected from the student population at SDN Ciporos 3. The results showed that there was a significant influence between learning styles and learning outcomes of grade 5 students at SDN Ciporos 3. Visual and kinesthetic learning styles had a positive effect on learning outcomes, while auditory learning styles did not have a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of simple essay writing skills through the picture and picture cooperative learning model in class III students of SD Negeri Tayem 01 Karangpucung. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research design used is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. The data collection instruments used were student worksheets, observation sheets, interview question sheets, field notes, documentation, questionnaires, and questionnaire-filling guidelines. Based on the results of data analysis in the first cycle of the first meeting, the student's skills in writing simple essays showed 56% mastery learning with an average score of 67.5 and the second meeting showed 68% learning mastery with an average score of 71.25. After making improvements in cycle I, students' skills in writing simple essays increased. Based on the results of data analysis in cycle II, meeting I, the student's skills in writing simple essays showed 80% mastery with an average score of 76.25, and meeting II showed 88% mastery with an average score of 79.5. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the picture and picture cooperative learning model could improve the skills of writing simple essays in class III students at SD Negeri Tayem 01 Karangpucung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Pancasila profile in the aspect of skills at SDN Tayem Timur 3. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were school principals, teachers, and students of grades V and VI. The results of the study show that the application of the Pancasila profile in the skills aspect at SDN Tayem Timur 3 is quite good, as can be seen from the development of student’s skills in various aspects such as critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. In addition, the application of the Pancasila profile also helps increase student awareness of Pancasila values as a guide in everyday life. However, more efforts are still needed to improve the quality of the application of the Pancasila profile in the skills aspect, such as by providing training and guidance to teachers and students.

Abstract

Nomophobia is a term used to describe the fear of losing or not being able to use a cell phone. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of nomophobia among students of SDN 2 Bembulang. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that nomophobia is common among students at SDN 2 Bembulang. Causes of nomophobia among such students include technology addiction, peer pressure, and the need to be constantly connected. The effects of nomophobia among such students include decreased academic performance, social withdrawal, and physical health problems. The findings from this study suggest the need for intervention and education programs to help SDN 2 Bembulang students manage their cell phone use and prevent nomophobia.
