Abstract

Resiliensi merupakan kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh pengguna media sosial. Resiliensi membantu masyarakat untuk dapat menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan efek dari media sosial. Kemampuan resiliensi yang memadai dapat membantu masyarakat untuk meminimalisir efek negatif dari penggunaan media sosial dan mendapatkan pengalaman yang cenderung positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan resiliensi khalayak pengguna media sosial (Instagram dan Facebook) di kota Makassar dan pentingnya pendidikan serta literasi digital untuk membentuk resiliensi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertempat di Kota Makassar, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mix methods, yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 236 orang (119 responden Instagram dan 117 responden Facebook) dan kualitatif dengan wawancara terhadap 3 (tiga) orang pakar/pegiat pendidikan dan literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi responden khalayak Instagram dan Facebook cenderung tinggi, yakni sebesar 66,4% pada responden Instagram dan 75,2% pada responden Facebook, sebanyak 33,6% responden Instagram dan 24,8% responden Facebook masih memiliki tingkat resiliensi yang rendah, serta pendidikan dan literasi digital menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk membentuk resiliensi masyarakat.

Abstract

The independent curriculum requires students to have a Pancasila spirit. Pancasila is the basic philosophy of the Indonesian nation which has democratic characteristics as a manifestation of Pancasila values which must be applied in educational units. Strengthening the Pancasila profile for students is implemented through a project with a democracy theme. This research aims to describe the implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) with the theme of the voice of democracy as part of planning the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research involved all class X5 students at SMA Negeri 9 Maros in the 2022/2023 academic year. The data sources for this research come from interviews, observations and documentation studies. The research results showed that students actively participated in the entire series of activities during the 100 lesson hours. The Pancasila Strengthening Project with the theme of democracy provides opportunities for students to practice democratic culture contextually in the community environment.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The influence of the Android-based Adaptive Learning method on the learning outcomes of students in arts and culture subjects in class VIII SMPN 4 Tamalatea." The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Android-based Adaptive Learning method on the learning outcomes of students in arts and culture subjects in class VIII SMPN 4 Tamalatea. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in this research use observation, test sheets and documentation. Determination of the sample size based on the Krejcie and Morgan table was 56 students. Based on the research results, the t test results with the help of the SPSS 25 software program produced a sig value of 0.010. Which means that the significance value is less than 0.5  is rejected and  is accepted, it can be concluded that the use of the Android-based Adaptive Learning method has an effect on student learning outcomes in class VIII Arts and Culture at SMPN 4 Tamalatea.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of transformational leadership models by school principals and their influence on improving teacher performance in secondary schools. The research adopts a mixed-method approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data to provide a comprehensive understanding. The study was conducted in 15 secondary schools, involving a total of 245 respondents consisting of school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques included the use of questionnaires to gather quantitative data, alongside in-depth interviews and direct observations for qualitative insights. The results reveal that transformational leadership—particularly through its core components of intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and idealized influence—has a significant positive impact on teacher performance. These leadership behaviors were found to enhance teaching quality, increase teacher professional commitment, and improve overall job satisfaction among educators. Additionally, the study highlights the role of school culture and the professional learning environment as mediating factors in the effectiveness of transformational leadership. The findings underscore the importance of implementing structured leadership development programs for school principals. By equipping school leaders with transformational leadership skills, educational institutions can foster more supportive and dynamic teaching environments that ultimately lead to better learning outcomes. These insights are particularly relevant for policymakers and educational administrators who are seeking sustainable strategies to improve school performance through leadership practices. In conclusion, transformational leadership stands out as a vital leadership style that not only motivates and empowers teachers but also contributes significantly to the institutional development of schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the effectiveness of differentiated instruction implementation in enhancing critical thinking character in Islamic Elementary School students in Makassar. The research employed a mixed-method approach with an embedded experimental design. The research sample consisted of 68 fourth and fifth-grade students from three Islamic Elementary Schools in Makassar, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, critical thinking ability tests, interviews, and documentation. Differentiated instruction was implemented for 12 weeks, considering variations in students' learning readiness, interests, and learning profiles. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of differentiated instruction was effective with an implementation rate of 87.5%; (2) there was a significant improvement in students' critical thinking abilities with an effect size of 0.82 (high category); (3) the three aspects of critical thinking that experienced the highest improvement were analyzing arguments, evaluating information, and drawing conclusions based on evidence; (4) success supporting factors included comprehensive lesson planning, school leadership support, teacher competence, and integration of Islamic values in the learning process. This research recommends the implementation of differentiated instruction as a strategy to develop students' critical thinking abilities while considering individual learning characteristics and needs.

Abstract

The digital era has fundamentally transformed the educational paradigm. This research examines the transformation of teachers' roles in addressing digital technology developments, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and social media. The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of technology literacy and digital ethics for teachers in creating adaptive and relevant learning environments. A literature review methodology is employed to identify key components required for teachers to transform into adaptive educators. The findings indicate that teachers need to develop five core competencies: understanding digital tools, critical information evaluation, interactive learning design, facilitating independent learners, and implementing technology ethics. This research contributes to developing a framework for adaptive teachers capable of utilizing technology as an opportunity rather than a threat in the educational process.

Abstract

Padlet is an application that allows teachers and students to share text, images, videos, links, or documents in one collaborative page. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Padlet-based e-learning media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects for class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo, Gowa Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The population in this study was 353 students, and the sampling technique was carried out using simple random sampling of 78 students. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that student activity in learning increased, from 80% at the first meeting to 93% at the second meeting, which was included in the good category. In addition, student learning outcomes before using Padlet showed a low level of completeness. However, after the application of Padlet-based e-learning media, 92% of students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), with 63 students experiencing a significant increase in learning outcomes. Based on the hypothesis test using the t-test at a significance level of 0.10, the calculated t value (6.02)> t_table (1.294) was obtained, so H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between the use of Padlet-based e-learning media on student learning outcomes. The results of this study support media theory, influence theory, and learning outcome theory, and show that the use of Padlet media is effective in improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines the role of school principals' digital leadership in enhancing technology-based learning quality in elementary schools during the Society 5.0 era. The Society 5.0 era demands educational transformation that integrates digital technology with humanistic approaches to create quality learning. School principals, as educational leaders, have a strategic role in directing digital transformation in schools. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method in several elementary schools that have implemented technology-based learning. Research findings indicate that principals' digital leadership encompasses five main dimensions: clear digital vision, technology competence, teacher capacity development, change management, and innovation culture building. These findings provide theoretical contributions to educational leadership concept development in the digital era and practical implications for principals' professional development.
