Abstract

This research aims to determine a new research topic for Islamic economics based on the evolution of the admittance-seeking social movement (ASSM) theory. The evolution of the admittance-seeking social movement (ASSM) theory, which lasted for 35 years, started from strategic management science before spreading to other fields. Therefore, it is prospective to analyze its development and determine the right research opportunities utilized by Islamic economics. The bibliometric analysis was used in this research to describe the characteristics of its development while content analysis was used to determine the research opportunities for future Islamic economics. This research is useful for Islamic economics academics by showing new research topics for scientific advancement. The result shows that there were three main research topics namely assessing the field, research mapping, and Islamic economic movement. This study also offers future research questions derived from each research topic. Based on the authors' knowledge, this is the first research carried out to analyze the ASSM theory development and show research opportunities for Islamic economics based on the evolution of ASSM theory.

Abstract

The Tawhidi String Relation (TSR) technique is being used in this descriptive qualitative study. This approach uses a shuratic process (interaction, integration, and evolutionary process) to analyze data based on actual field observations. The author of this study examines the role that creativity and innovation programs play in helping the Gosari Gresik community achieve its Villages's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The concept of Islamic Development Economics, which derives from Tawhid philosophy, is the foundation of the analytical instrument that was created. The findings of the study indicate that the dialogue and agreement between the primary institutions for village development, such as the village administration and community and religious leaders, in addressing issues in the village is what causes the process of interaction and integration to occur. The development and execution of creativity and innovation programs in Gosari village heavily relies on these community actors. The six elements of maqashid sharia”hifdz ad-diin, hifdz al-'aql, hifdz an-nafs, hifdz an-nasl, hifdz al-maal, and hifdz al-bi'ah”are all met by the participatory development process, each of which is connected to the others. Then, as the evolutionary process progresses, people's perspectives gradually alter and village labor programs get better as time goes on.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of university resource support, self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial competence on halal startup business performance in Indonesia. This quantitative research uses the causal method to analyze the relationship between research variables. The research data was collected in 2021 using questionnaires to 130 students who have been running their businesses for at least the last three months. Statistical analysis using SEM-PLS showed that three of the four research hypotheses were accepted. The study's results found that university resource support and self-efficacy significantly affect the performance of the halal startup business. Meanwhile, entrepreneurial motivation does not positively influence student halal startup business performance. This research is expected to provide a contribution that can be a solution, suggestion, and recommendation that can be used as a reference for university decision-makers in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to add to the repertoire of scientific literature, especially studies on the management of new halal businesses. Abstract

This community service program was conducted to enhance the welfare of the residents in Sumber Sawit Village, Sidorejo District, Magetan Regency, through training in livestock management, financial literacy, and the development of Islamic cooperatives. The village faced key challenges, including limited technical knowledge in livestock management, restricted access to capital, and low financial literacy. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed to actively involve the community in problem identification, training sessions, and program evaluation. The results indicated significant improvements in the community’s capabilities, including more efficient livestock management, enhanced financial literacy, and the utilization of Islamic cooperatives as an alternative community-based financing option. This program received high appreciation from the community and village leaders for its success in creating an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable local economic ecosystem. These findings highlight the effectiveness of a holistic approach that integrates technical training, financial literacy, and cooperative development as a model for empowering communities to support sustainable local economic development.
