Abstract

Faktis coklat merupakan hasil reaksi vulkanisasi minyak nabati (jarak kepyar) pada suhu 130-160oC. Faktis coklat utamanya berfungsi sebagai bahan bantu olah kompon dan bahan penstabil dimensi pada barang jadi karet. Bahan bantu olah dapat mempermudah pencampuran dengan cara meningkatkan laju dispersi bahan pengisi dan menurunkan energi pengkomponan. Selain itu, faktis coklat dapat mempertahankan dimensi terutama pada barang karet hasil ekstruksi. Pada penelitian akan dipelajari ujicoba faktis coklat dari minyak jarak kepyar dalam pembuatan selang gas LPG. Kompon tanpa dan dengan penambahan faktis coklat komersial digunakan sebagai pembanding. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan penyusunan formula kompon selang gas LPG kemudian pembuatan kompon selang gas LPG dalam mesin giling terbuka. Kompon yang diperoleh diperam sebelum dibentuk menjadi selang dalam mesin ekstruder. Kompon dicuplik ±150 g untuk uji karakteristik vulkanisasi dan sisanya divulkanisasi dalam autoclave. Selang  LPG hasil vulkanisasi diuji sifat fisika sesuai dengan SNI 06-7213-2006/Amd 1:2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktis coklat dari minyak jarak kepyar dapat berfungsi dengan baik sebagai bahan bantu olah tetapi belum mampu mencegah terjadinya dies swell pada selang. Faktis coklat dari minyak jarak kepyar tidak berpengaruh nyata pada hasil uji karakteristik vulknisasi kompon dan sifat fisika selang gas LPG. Hal ini memperkuat fungsi faktis coklat sebagai bahan bantu olah. Abstract

Karet alam terhidrogenasi yang dihasilkan dari reaksi hidrogenasi karet alam fasa lateks oleh senyawa diimida berpotensi digunakan sebagai pengganti karet sintetik tipe EPDM. Salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan pembuatan karet alam terhidrogenasi adalah pemilihan jenis bahan penstabil dan koagulan lateks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bahan penstabil dan koagulan lateks yang paling ideal untuk digunakan dalam reaksi hidrogenasi lateks karet alam yang dijalankan pada skala semi pilot berkapasitas 2,5 kg lateks pekat/batch. Bahan penstabil yang diujicobakan terdiri atas senyawa basa kuat NaOH dan surfaktan anionik Sodium Lauril Sulfat (SLS), sedangkan koagulan diambil dari jenis garam anorganik CaCl2 dan asam organik yaitu asam format. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan penstabil jenis SLS dan koagulan jenis asam format merupakan bahan aditif terbaik yang dapat digunakan dalam reaksi hidrogenasi lateks karet dengan senyawa diimida.  Karet alam terhidrogenasi yang dibuat dengan penambahan kedua bahan aditif tersebut memiliki nilai derajat hidrogenasi tertinggi (34 – 35%), yang diikuti dengan kadar abu yang rendah (0,05 – 0,06%).

Abstract

Tobacco from Kemloko Village has expressively attracted the attention of large companies such as Gudang Garam, Djarum, Sukun, Djambu Bol, Noroyono, and Bentoel. The Kemloko Village Community mostly works as a tobacco farmer, which is as many as 64.8% of total residents. In addition to these economic activities, the people of Kemloko Village are also active in carrying out traditional religious rituals (congregational prayers, tahlil dhikr and grave pilgrimage, ritual recitation, and slametan) led by village kyai. The kyai concurrently plays a role as important figures in the community, where the santri and society learn to adapt the outside realities, including the economic sphere. This article discusses the complex relationship of tobacco economic activity and the religious practices of the Kemloko Village community, arguing that the two factors makes traders (baskets and bosses) take advantage of the religious behavior of the elder kyai (as a source of authority) while the farmers get more profits. Keywords: tobacco farmers, religious practice, kyai, cultural brokerage

Abstract

As a beef distributor company, the challenge of being able to balance demand and supply is very important, given the consumption and distribution patterns that are unstable and are influenced by the nature of meat that is perishable and requires special handling. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bullwhip effect that occurs in the beef industry, the level of inventory and forecasting beef. This research will calculate the level of bullwhip effect of the reverse supply chain beef with one distributor and three types of retailers and customers. The analysis is carried out on the demand pattern and shipping intensity of the customer distributors and analyses the effect of the reverse supply chain on the bullwhip effect. After the inventory formulation is obtained, the effect of the reverse supply chain on the beef bullwhip effect, then the best formulation for inventory forecasting using ARIMA is sought. In this research, a new formulation of inventory patterns is influenced by product returns and reverse supply chains. From the results of calculations using a new inventory formulation by including a reduction to replace the returned product, it appears that this condition affects the bullwhip effect where the company will consider the product as a sale when in fact it is a replacement. By this paper, we release a new reverse supply chain model in the beef industry to get value-added.

Abstract

Abstract The initial step in planning an agro-industry establishment is determining the type of superior commodities and the right industrial location. Identification of superior commodities and determination of location in coastal areas are still limited, even though the area has complex environmental conditions. This study aimed to identify superior commodities and determine potential locations for agro-industry. The research was conducted in Bekasi Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The methods used to identify advantages were Location Quotient and Shift Share. Determining industrial locations used the Geographic Information System (GIS) with the pairwise comparison method. The study results showed that the three main superior commodities in Bekasi Regency were seaweed, milkfish, and shellfish. The agro-industry potential location based on the analysis of industrial requirement parameters and by the Bekasi Regency Spatial Plan (SP) for the development of industrial areas was Cabangbungin District. The location meets the requirements in terms of proximity to energy sources, water sources, business centers/markets, accessibility to main roads, and the place's elevation and slope. The use of land cover with a potential land area by the location is 985.97 Ha. This study result can be used as a reference for policy considerations of decision-making systems for other coastal areas.Keywords: agro-industry, Bekasi Regency, GIS, leading commodities, potential location AbstrakPenentuan jenis bahan baku unggulan dan lokasi industri yang tepat merupakan langkah awal dalam perencanaan pendirian agroindustri. Identifikasi komoditas unggulan dan penentuan lokasi di wilayah pesisir masih terbatas, padahal daerah tersebut memiliki kondisi lingkungan yang bersifat kompleks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi komoditas unggulan dan menentukan lokasi potensial agroindustri. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan untuk identifikasi keunggulan adalah Location Quotion dan Shift Share. Penentuan lokasi industri menggunakan Geographic Information System (GIS) dengan metode pairwaise comparison. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga komoditas unggulan utama di Kabupaten Bekasi adalah rumput laut, bandeng, dan kerang. Lokasi potensial agroindustri berdasarkan analisis parameter syarat industri dan sesuai dengan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Kabupaten Bekasi untuk pengembangan kawasan industri adalah Kecamatan Cabangbungin. Lokasi tersebut memenuhi syarat dalam hal kedekatan sumber energi, sumber air, pusat bisnis/pasar, aksesbilitas jalan utama, serta ketinggian dan kelerengan tempat. Penggunaan tutupan lahan dengan luasan lahan yang potensial sesuai di lokasi tersebut adalah 985,97 Ha. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rujukan pertimbangan kebijakan sistem pengambilan keputusan untuk wilayah pesisir lainnya.Kata kunci: agroindustri, GIS, Kabupaten Bekasi, komoditas unggulan, lokasi potensial

Abstract

Patients who choose to carry out examinations and treatment with an outpatient model without staying at hospitals and health service clinics are increasing for various reasons and the busyness of the patient in question. Clinics and hospitals are still able to survive and operate because they are still needed by patients who require both outpatient and inpatient services. Many clinics and hospitals in various countries still have not implemented an outpatient queue data processing system with an adequate system so there are many patients who have registered to be examined but do not come for various reasons which is a loss for the nurses and doctors on duty at the hospital. that day. This incident is certainly detrimental to clinics and hospitals because data processing is still manual, so it is impossible to predict how many patients will visit the clinic for check-ups. One solution that is still wide open for managing visiting patient data both for outpatient and inpatient treatment is to use big data. The method to be used in data mining is a Decision Tree classification with Adaboost and Random Undersampling. With the Decision Tree classification with Adaboost and Random Undersampling, good predictions will be produced so that they can help in making a decision.

Abstract

Feeding globally is considered a critical challenge for sustainable development, hence, protein, energy, and adequate micronutrients must be sustainably available to alleviate many community problems. In some parts of Indonesia, such as Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, approximately 60% of people consume protein less than the adequacy level. Therefore, this study aimed to identify halal status of edible insects as a forgotten-fringe food to obtain a potential alternative source of protein-rich food in the future. The goal was to cover households with lower-middle income in fulfilling protein requirements, specifically in food-insecure areas. The results showed that six edible insects were identified as a forgotten indigenous protein source. These insects were forgotten majorly due to taste (yuck), allergies, inferior quality, complicated processing methods, and confusion over halal status. However, the identified forgotten foods had the potential to cover the insecurity condition in Gunungkidul. This might help poor households increase protein intake since often those forgotten foods are cheap and hunted freely.
