Abstract

One of the companies that make tools for printing at one of the printing companies in Jakarta has a product in the form of Offset Roller Printing, where Offset Roller Printing is a mainstay product with the highest sales. The company promises a declining trend in the rejection rate in 2024, with the rejection rate not exceeding 2%. For that, an analysis of the cause of the problem will be carried out until a repair proposal is obtained by using an integrated method which is Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). Based on the check sheet, it shows the total production in January - December 2023 of 5699. On the overall operational map, there is no point that is outside the upper or lower operational limits. From the results of the FMEA analysis, it can be seen that the highest RPN is the cover for the method factor with the first priority having an RPN value of 252 which means that the vulcanization temperature is not reached or the temperature of the maturity point is not reached. unable to. There is a need to renew the vulcanization recipe so that the rubber matures perfectly and avoids the occurrence of oblong or closed defects. In addition, improvement proposals as a form of evaluation results are given related to the operator's attention factor, operator's skill, various types of materials, working environment temperature, no machine control, comfortable work environment, hostap plastic setting.

Abstract

One of the pulp & paper industries in Banten differentiates between several suppliers based on fixed contract cooperation for main raw materials and irregular contracts for supporting raw materials. Cooperation with variable contracts often causes problems such as delays in delivery, product specifications and quantities of goods that do not match the ones ordered. This is because companies in selecting suppliers for non-fixed contracts still use conventional selection methods by determining criteria based only on price and quality of goods, but not based on consideration of other criteria or those that suit the company's needs. This often interferes with the progress of production process activities. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to solve problems that occur as a strategy to determine the right criteria and suppliers. From the results of the analysis carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, it was found that the priority value of the Price criterion is 0.18; Shipping is 0.41; Quality is 0.28; and Responsiveness is 0.13. From the results of comparative weighting at the hierarchy level of the criteria, it was found that the highest priority value was on the delivery criteria of 0.41. With the best supplier is PT. A that gets a weighted value of 0.41; while the other two suppliers are PT. B receives a weighted value of 0.36 and PT. C of 0.22.

Abstract

Abstract

Every workplace has a risk of occupational accidents. A work accident is an unplanned and uncontrollable event caused by human factors, the Environment, machines or a combination of the three occurring during the work process that is likely to cause injury, property damage and death or other undesirable events. Work accidents that occur always bring losses such as a decrease in the company's productivity because employees cannot work optimally, loss of manpower and of course reduce the company's profits. This research aims to analyze the order of priority for handling potential hazardous hazards that result in work accidents, analyze high-risk processes/activities that result in work accidents, and analyze control recommendations for potential hazards that have the risk of resulting in work accidents. The analysis method that will be used is the failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) method. The results of the study show that the potential danger of exposure to hot temperatures (melting process) has an RPN value of 297.7 so that the most risky production process is the process of forming or molding raw materials. The priority order of handling potential hazards from the glass bottle production process is exposure to hot temperatures, noise, exposure to glass bottle fragments, suffocation and being pinched by machines/conveyors. The controls that must be carried out are providing fans, providing insulation and shields, and providing drinking water so that the operator does not suffer from dehydration.

Abstract

High employee performance can increase productivity, efficiency, and work quality. In addition, employees who perform well can also create a positive work environment, foster work enthusiasm, and increase customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of employee performance using work discipline mediation. This study was conducted on employees of a cleaning service and gardening company in West Jakarta, with a sample of 50 employees. The data analysis method in this study was quantitative, using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool. The results of the study showed that online attendance did not have a significant effect on employee performance. On the other hand, compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, both online attendance and compensation were found to have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. What is interesting is that work discipline succeeded in becoming a mediator of the effect of online attendance on employee performance, but failed as a mediator of the effect of compensation on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of effective compensation management and the role of work discipline in facilitating the effect of online attendance on performance. Overall, the results of this study provide new insights for managers and Human Resources (HR) professionals in planning strategies to improve employee performance through compensation management and work discipline.

Abstract

Waste recycling programs have become crucial due to the mounting waste problems that threaten the environment, public health, and the sustainability of natural resources. This program aims to transform the waste management paradigm from a linear system (disposal) to a circular economic cycle, converting waste into beneficial and economically valuable products. The main objectives include significantly reducing the volume of waste that ends up in Final Disposal Sites (TPA), increasing the availability of quality recycled raw materials, and fostering awareness and active community participation in recycling practices. The targeted outcomes include creating new jobs in the collection, processing, and marketing sectors of recycled products. Additionally, this program is expected to increase community income, particularly among entrepreneurs, through the sale of innovative and high-value recycled products. Thus, the recycling program is expected to create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits the environment, society, and the economy as a whole.

Abstract

The increase in the number of new entrepreneurs has become a crucial strategy in addressing high unemployment rates and accelerating national economic growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education, family environment, and income expectations on entrepreneurial intention, while considering the mediating role of entrepreneurial attitude. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, involving 412 university students as respondents, with data analyzed through Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a direct, positive, and significant effect on shaping students’ entrepreneurial attitudes. Similarly, income expectations significantly contribute to strengthening entrepreneurial attitudes. In contrast, the family environment variable shows no significant relationship with either entrepreneurial attitude or intention. Further findings reveal that entrepreneurial attitude plays a critical mediating role in shaping students’ intentions to start a business. Additionally, both entrepreneurship education and income expectations also exhibit a direct and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. The novelty of this study lies in mapping the mediating role of entrepreneurial attitude in bridging the relationship between external factors (entrepreneurship education and income expectations) and entrepreneurial intention an area that has not been extensively explored in previous research. The implications of these findings provide a conceptual foundation for higher education institutions in designing more targeted entrepreneurship development strategies.

Abstract

SMA Yadika 5 has one of the goals, namely "Providing knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship and plant cultivation that are beneficial for students and the surrounding environment". In cultivating plants, supporting materials such as organic fertilizer are needed. Coconut juice is often used as a cooking ingredient in household activities, where the pulp from coconut juice that is no longer used can generally be reprocessed into organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer can improve the chemical, physical and biological fertility of the soil, in addition to being a source of nutrients for plants. Organic fertilizer made from coconut pulp waste for plants can be one way to carry out the goals of SMA Yadika 5. In addition, it can be a solution for agriculture or plantations for housewives or family members of SMA Yadika 5 students in urban areas. Based on the analysis of the situation around us, it turns out that teenagers are interested in learning this knowledge but have not had the opportunity because there has been no training and counseling in managing waste. The target of this training in managing household organic waste from coconut pulp is male and female teenagers at SMA Yadika 5, Kembangan District, West Jakarta.
